Very decent little sandwich shop that made me felt like I was back home in OC, CA. Got them little aunties running the shop. It's a tiny mom n pop shop so don't expect high class service here. The sandwiches were so thick that I had difficulty sticking it into my mouth. Now that's a sandwich!!!!

This place is relatively new. They have banh mi, main dishes as well as pastries. They have a couple of seatings if you want to dine in. I was looking for spring rolls and they didn't have it on display but when I asked, they had it hidden for some reason. They are pricier than the deli in the same complex but it had higher quality and bigger.instead of regular noodles, they use thinner noodles, they also have the eggroll wrappers in it as well. I was a little dubious but when i took a bite, it was really good. Refreshing. It satisfy my cravings for sure. The place is a little cramped for dine in but it's possible. Definitely will be back to try other things here.

Loooove this place! I can't believe I haven't tried this place until now! Their coffee is strong, their sandwiches are delish, their shrimp toast is amazing, and their menu is so wide! I'm excited to go back and try their other dishes! They have a table so you can eat there if you want. There's also some bar seats. The parking lot has a lot of spots but it seems like this is a really busy plaza so parking can get a difficult. There's a bunch of other Asian businesses in the plaza as well so I'm excited to check them out as well!

Have been eyeing Nissi Banh ever since they put their sign up in King Plaza. They sell mostly banh mi, Vietnamese juices, and other assortments of Vietnamese foods. I ended up ordering the cold cut banh mi and the grilled pork banh mi. Both were satisfying to eat, but I think the grilled pork was much better than their cold cut. Not my favourite bread for banh mi though, but I'm very specific about that part so it's "to-each-their-own" on that basis. There are other places I prefer for banh mi, but Nissi Banh is always a valid option when you're in the area. I always love to see more Vietnamese-owned businesses sprout up in the neighbourhood, and this place is welcomed in my books

We came across this place by chance while using the bank near the metro station. They open early and were cooking up a storm so luck for us the food was hot and fresh. We grabbed several items to eat including spring rolls and banh mi sandwich. Friendly mother and daughter working early in the morning.

Easily one of my favorite Bánh Mi place moving forward. Meat portion is plentiful and all delicious at the same time. Their Vietnamese coffee is handmade per order and they shake it in a shaker fresh which made it extra delicious. Got 3 sandwiches, 2 Vietnamese coffees and 2 other side dishes and they were all amazing. Service was good and there was one table to sit down and eat there. It's a small space but they use it well.

I have finally found my favorite banh mi sandwich. Since the untimely demise of Huong Xua in White Center, I have been on a quest for a suitable replacement chicken banh mi, this is it.

Nissi Banh is a Vietnamese deli, which is a staple of many Vietnamese communities. There are a lot of freshly made take-out and pantry items to choose from, and the staff is always nice. I would recommend these options: * bánh giò (banana leaf wrapped steam rice cake with ground pork) - The rice cake and pork are moist and tasty. * nem nướng (pork meatball skewers) were really good and the flavor is just like the ones I ate growing up * bánh ít trần (mung bean sticky rice dumplings): soo good with nice amount of filling The bánh cuốn (rice rolls with ground pork) were okay, but from my experience, it's harder to maintain freshness for this unless you go to a sit-down restaurant that serves it as soon as it's made. I haven't tried the bánh mì or drinks here, which seem to be the most popular options here, but will hopefully be back to try them.

This is the best banh mi in Seattle and I really don't think it's close. The second I tried it, and I tried the coffee I think I saw colors I've never seen before. The second time I went, I truly spoke to the owners, who are some of the kindest, most genuine people I've met. As a vegetarian, the tofu bahn mi blows my mind it's so rich and balanced, the Vietnamese coffee also expanded my life and I have never been the same since. I can't recommend enough.

I like their banh mi. They stuff their sandwiches fully. Cold cut is my favorite, shown in pic. Their grilled pork is my second favorite and has good lemon grass taste. Workers are nice.

Such a great hidden gem- so make sure to keep an eye out! We've ordered deli items here, catering, drinks, and I can't recommend Nissi Banh enough! Everything is top notch quality, on time and delicious. The price is extremely reasonable, you really get a big bang for your buck. We live 30+ mins away but will travel and order here for all our events and cravings. They are very clean too which makes you feel better when eating the food. You can see into the kitchen and it is well kept and organized. I highly recommend Nissi Banh, 5/5 stars!

Some sort of shrimp toast - 2 different kinds, both fantastic.

I loved this little place! The banh mi was great and the cafe sua da was delish!! The ladies working there were so nice to me - we chatted a lot and they were surprised I knew how to say "cafe sua da!" I can't wait to go back and try more.

Our group of six spontaneously decided to grab dinner at Xóm since it was my birthday weekend! There was a bit of a wait to be seated since we didn't have a reservation, but luckily, we were seated within 30 minutes. We ordered the Xóm Wings (crispy whole chicken wing in garlic butter fish sauce reduction) to share as a group. These were delicious! The crispiness and fish sauce together was excellent. It had me drooling. For my entree, I decided on the Bún Thịt Nướng (choice of chicken or pork, vermicelli, lettuce and herbs, cucumber, picked daikon and carrot, purple cabbage, friend peanut and oiled green onion, and nước chấm). I opted for the pork option because that is always my protein preference with Bún Thịt Nướng. It's always a good sign with Bún Thịt Nướng is served with an eggroll without an extra charge, so loved that! Three of us decided on ordering some of their cocktails, which were fun! Pandan had better texture, flaky and pairs really well with the coconut cream. Banana was somehow not as flaky and has more of a subtle taste but still paired well with the coconut cream. I tried the bún riêu and the bò né with steak and sizzling eggs, and both were delicious. My friend got the seafood pho and loved it too. This restaurant is full of contradictions. On one hand, it…read morecontains some of the best individual dishes I've had in the city. On the other hand, some remarkably bizarre choices and inexplicably bad dishes leave you thoroughly confused. I'm a positive person (kind of), so let's start with the good. Their bahn tieu, or hollow bread, ranks up there as maybe the best bread-as-an-appetizer in the city. From the moment you cut it in half and feel the hiss of the steam escaping from the middle, you know it's going to be good. The outside is crispy, and the inside is so unbelievably fluffy it's wild. The honey coating on the bottom just adds that slightly sweet flavor that makes it even better, and the honey butter works perfectly to spread and let melt on the hot bread inside. For just $4, it's comes at an unbelievable price. We liked ours so much we ordered it again at the end. Following that same theme, the next thing we had, the toasted bahn mi, was also incredible. This is definitely not your typical bahn mi - as it comes in two mini triangle shaped pieces with a fried exterior. This outside has the perfect crunch and slight oiliness in its texture, and the inside of chicken liver parfait and pork floss just works so well. The nuoc cham also has essentially every flavor - sweet, salty, umami, spicy - it's the perfect dipping sauce. Ok, now let's talk about the truly incomprehensible. The rockfish fish and chips contains some of the worst fried fish I've ever had. The breading is beyond repair - it's practically soggy to the touch. When taking a bite out of the fish in your fish and chips feels like eating a bamboo shoot, you've completely lost the plot. I shudder to think about how this would appear when put next to some of the other fried fish I've had in Seattle. There's no seasoning, and to make matters worse, something just tastes very off about the inside. I don't even mean that's its overcooked, which it is, but there's just something weird going on that I can't quite put my finger on. Also, the tartar sauce might be the worst I've ever had. It's essentially just a pickled salad. There's no fat - no mayo or anything to provide something good to dip the fish into. It's just watery, liquidy, and functions atrociously at its job of being a dipping sauce. At least the fries were decent enough. If that wasn't everything - there's two more things that went wrong. The first one of these is just laughable. When we sat at our table and tried to order from the lounge menu, which is an all-day menu (not just happy hour), we were told that we couldn't be served the lounge menu at our current table, and had to be moved to the lounge area. And then - completely serious - we were proceeded to be moved like three seats over, now told we were in the lounge area, and allowed to order the lounge menu. It was so ridiculous both of us couldn't stop laughing for like five minutes. Even now I find it incredulous. The fact that there was some great firewall standing between the lounge and main dining area that prevented them from bringing a lounge plate one iota outside the allocated area is exceptionally funny. The second one is a bit more annoying. When we got our table, we were asked if we wanted still or sparkling water. I found this a bit odd - it reminded me of Europe - but I didn't think too much of it and asked for still, assuming that like essentially every restaurant in the US - the water would be complimentary. It was my absolute shock that we were charged 12 (twelve) American dollars for water. What!? In the land of the free? And the home of the brave? Really? Twelve dollars? Water? You know the kind where Seattle has some of the best tap water in the country, and you can literally just fill that up. Granted, it was probably partially our fault for not blocking the question entirely and asking for tap water from the start, but I assumed they asked between these two options to just determine the type of water we wanted. Overall, this has a couple of the highest highs, but the lows here are in the depths of hell. 5/10
