I called Nitless Noggins as I've been dealing with lice for several weeks now. When I discovered my 9 year old had it I called the pediatrician for advice. Having never had this kind of experience before, I called this place after reading their excellent reviews. I was greeted by Joanna, who patiently and warmly explained their location and availability. My 3 year old daughter and I arrived an hour later, where there were toys she could play with while I spoke in more detail with Joanna, who explained the process of the treatment, which was 100% natural and effective. She was just wonderful. My 3 year old doesn't even like me to brush her hair, but Joanna was able to soak her hair in treatment and do the entire combing with her calm demeanor and warm professionalism. She offered my daughter movies to select, and worked with her in such a sweet way. She was so wonderful to both of us. We were there for a couple hours, and left completely clear. I was able to return to work two days later (I stayed home the day after just to make sure and check both of us myself thoroughly - completely clear), and my daughter returned to her preschool two days later as well. This is by far the best way to go! I have had lice before and it is such a hassle to Go buy shampoo and treatments to the store and then have to go do it all by yourself over and over again at home. I was on vacation in the Santa Cruz area when I made the discovery that all 4 of my daughters had lice. I found Nitless Noggins, and liked the 100% guarantee that supposedly came with the service. I paid them $616 to treat my girls. I was repeatedly reassured that they were completely clean and lice free. In the following days, back at my home 3 hours away, as I was doing the recommended follow up care of combing their hair out with a lice comb, I was finding dozens of nits. I called Marcy because I didn't think this was right, but she told me it was completely normal. Because we were leaving again for a vacation for the Fourth of July holiday and would be around lots of other kids, I decided to get their heads checked again just in case. I didn't want to possibly pass on lice to anyone else. A different service combed them out this time and found not only dozens of nits, but LIVING, MOVING newly hatched lice on the scalps of 2 of my girls. I paid another $255 to this service to get rid of the lice that were supposedly gone after Marcy treated them. In bringing this up with Marcy, she refused to acknowledge that her treatment had failed and tried to tell me that some nits and lice might be normal. I was just supposed to keep combing them out. However, that is what I paid her $616 to do, so I requested a refund, which she denied. I'm now in a dispute case with my credit card company with her, where she has taken to personal attacks and name calling, writing that I am "greedy" and "unappreciative".
