We love Nitty's because there's something for everyone! My husband will make any excuse to end up in the area so we can stop in. I love their dry cider where most dry ciders kind of have an after-skunk-taste, Nitty's has just nice crisp straightforward taste. I've been to Nitty's many times and any time of year seems to be fun, inclusive, and relaxed. There's plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating and the bathrooms are very clean. We usually get street parking not too far away and everyone there is so fun and kind. We will be back again and again! read more

I visited Nitty's Cider for a trivia night and some cider and especially enjoyed the ambiance. When we arrived there was the option of both indoor and outdoor seating. We opted for the outdoor seating. They had lots of long comfy shaded picnic tables that were kept cool by the many misters they had installed. The misters worked so well, in fact, that when they were finally turned off everyone outside cheered because they had become quite cold from the mist. There was also a food truck so we were able to get some delicious carne asada fried for the table in addition to our cider. Nitty has a wide selection of craft ciders. We purchased two different flights of cider and asked the bartender to fill up the glasses with some of his favorites. In retrospect, I should have been more specific about what I liked because I didn't love the one's he ended up choosing but it was still fun trying all the different flavors. The trivia was ok. I think it would have been more fun if they would have had slightly less specific questions but we still had a good time and tried our best:) read more

Tried out Nitty's last night for the first time and I definitely liked it! Super lax vibes... very friendly customer service employees... offered us samples of anything we asked to try. Also, huge bonus points here... you can bring your dogs inside or out... love that! We actually ordered a flight AND additional 5 oz all for $13 before tip. I love Nitty's!!! Vibes off the charts! I've been coming here with friends and my dog every Tuesday to do trivia for over 2 years! You can play skeeball and other games during wait times too. The Nitty's Tuesday staff are people I truly couldn't speak highly enough of; the most friendly and kind people. The food truck is also delicious! read more

This week saw us heading to the Nitty's Cider tasting room in East Sac to meet up with a bunch of friends for a relaxed evening. I was impressed with how easily they seemed to handle both our big group and the even bigger meetup group that congregated in the adjoining room where the board games and a traffic light (yes, see picture.) are kept. They also have several tables outside and are cool with outside food being brought in since they don't currently offer any food. I tried the Children Behave (Sour Patch Kids), Green Eyes (Green Smoothie), and the Guavecito (Guava), and found each tasty. All their ciders were in the 6-8% range too, helllooooo! Guavecito was my favorite, with delicious fruit flavor without being too sweet. Green Eyes was refreshing, and Children Behave was just the right amount of sour. Very pleasing to mine tastebuds. It's nice to find another cool hang out spot with good cider and lots of space for friends. We never had to wait very long to get another round. I found the staff nice, and the space inviting. Good vibes only. I'll be back! Bathroom Report: clean, smelling neutral, basic, just what you would expect from a bathroom. Flights: Possibly. They were offering them to us even though the sign said No. Parking: East Sac means LOL good luck Chuck. Arrive early, carpool, transit (Lightrail on 29th is close), or rideshare. If you are a cider fan, this is the place to go in Sacramento. They have 16 varieties which is crazy and makes it so difficult to choose! I met several friends here for happy hour and the place filled up fast. I tried the strawberry lemonade and the orange peach mango which was my fav. Ciders were delicious! Not too sweet and quenched the thirst. Plenty of tables inside and out. I also love that they are dog and kid friendly. No food except for some pastrami jerky that they sell so bring food if you think you'll get hungry. Unfortunately we picked the hottest day of the year to check this place out. No air conditioning and the door stays wide open so be prepared during those hot days. Or just drink lots of cold cider to keep cool! read more

I had a good experience here. It's a fruity and fresh collection of ciders that are great for a warm day. There is lots of indoor and outdoor space, and service is friendly. I can see this place getting busy on a hot weekend, though when we went on a weekday afternoon it was not too occupied. Overall a welcome addition to Sacramento! read more

I have been driving past this place forever now and every time I saw it I was dying to come here! Such a beautiful huge open outdoor area to relax and drink cider. So many different options and unique flavors to choose from. Very decently priced and every single one I tried was delicious. They offer samples and the staff was super attentive and sweet. I didn't get to stay for long since they sadly close at 9pm, which is half the reason I minus one star. Other reason was they sadly didn't allow any outdoor smoking (cigarettes), or nicotine pens, etc. Doesn't at all take away from the expierence but surprising such a large outdoor area doesn't have a designated area to smoke. Other than that I loved and enjoyed this place so much! Can see myself coming here time and time again. A real hidden gem for people who love ciders! read more

We are so grateful that nitty cider opened up in east sac! Now we don't have to drive to clarksburg to get our favorite gluten free beverage! They have ski ball and giant screen TVs to host the big football game! Turns out they offer discounts for Sunday, Monday and Thursday night football. $6 beers! read more

Absolutely the best cider I have ever had, hands down. So refreshing, especially on a hot Sacramento summer day. Tons of space to hang out with friends; clean both inside and out; and friendly and efficient staff. I love the variety of Nick's cider flavors. He always has something new and unique to try, and while he doesn't serve food, I saw at least a dozen food deliveries while I was enjoying my Bad Romance cider (cranberry & pomegranate, 11% alc). Uber eats, food trucks, Mr. Pickles (across the street), pizza...you can order whatever you like to be delivered. Oh, and bring the dog! :) read more

Nitty Cider was such a fun find! We randomly dropped in the other day for date night and had a great time. It has a huge patio with plenty of table space outside with a food truck. Upon walking in it's very spacious with some nice art on the walls and so many games! Definitely did not expect all the games and a photobooth to capture the moment. Many ciders on tap, wine, IPAs, flights. They had plenty of options for whatever you are feeling. Highly recommend for a date night downtown. read more

Rejoice, all ye who are not beer fans or cannot consume gluten. Nitty's in East Sac is a fun spot to gather the friends and family, especially on a warm spring day. I love ciders, and I love trying all their different flavors. The folks working are super knowledgeable and can design flights exactly to your taste buds. They don't serve food, but they bring in food trucks from time to time so you don't get the drunchies. There's indoor and outdoor seating. There are some fun games outside, or bring your own. It's also pup and bike-friendly. Parking can be hard to find here, so honestly, ride your bike. It's more fun that way! read more

Nitty's Cider is a cute cider brewery in East Sac on Folsom Blvd. It's not that big but it's large enough to have indoor and outdoor space. Huge plus is that Nitty's Cider is dog-friendly! I had the opportunity to visit Nitty's because my friends are in a SkeeBall league that plays here every Wednesday. Be prepared because street parking might be a bit tricky. Also, if you're not much a fan of ciders then this isn't the place for you because that's all they serve. Sometimes they have a food truck vendor present on site, if they don't there are walkable restaurants nearby. read more

My guy and I stopped by here in the evening before close on Easter Sunday, and our experience was just okay. I'm giving the employees a definite benefit of the doubt for wanting to get home due to it being Easter, but I wouldn't call the service either friendly or helpful - just enough to get the job done. In addition, the ciders were okay! They had a lot of fun flavors which I enjoyed - I liked the POG the best. At the time we went, they had only been open 5 weeks so I'd be willing to try this spot again once they get into their groove! Their location is GREAT and I'd love another fun place to play games and have a drink outside this summer read more

I'm surprised I haven't written a review for this place in the past because this is one of my favorite breweries here in Sac. Located off Folsom and 32nd, there's a large seating area both in and outdoors, with food vendors frequenting from time to time. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. The drinks are light and refreshing. Price-wise, you get a good amount on quality cider. If you're ever in the area, you should pop in for a drink. Great for socializing or to grab a quick drink after eating the area (near Kru and Jayna Gyro). read more

Ordered flights since it was our first time, most of them were good, my least favorite was the grapefruit orange cider. Service was great, staff was friendly. Fun spot in East Sac for a casual night out with lots of ciders on tap to choose from! They have flights (4 for $12) and pints ($7.50), no kitchen (outside food is ok), a few games and tv's with enough elbow room and seating for your small or large group, and picnic tables on the spacious patio (dogs welcome!). The night we came was kinda poppin,' but even though there were lines at the bar, it didn't take that long to get served. The guy who helped me was very cool, very friendly, and offered tastings before I decided which of the refreshing ciders I wanted. "Guavecito" was a favorite, followed by the dragonfruit which also had the highest alcohol content, and the blueberry cherry one. There were a couple I thought had little to no flavor, but as long as you're a fan of ciders, I'm sure Nitty's has something for everyone! read more

5-stars for the ciders and friendly staff, but the indoor seating place is HOT!!! There are a couple of ceiling fans, which help a bit. The side area doesn't, and we almost passed out from the heat. Also the barrel tables are cool, but the barstools are too tall for them. The table top hits your legs and makes it awkward to sit and drink. Forget eating at them. read more

We didn't mind, but she kindly served the cider in glasses, which made the experience nicer. She also offered a whiskey tasting in a cool room lined with barrels and tables, plus gift boxes and other products. The whiskey tasting was just $2, with three varieties to sample.
