I have read several suggestions to go try this place out and a few friends suggested it so we had to checkout this local Italian food restaurant and we are glad we did! We already planned our next visit and what we will try new time. We started with fried calamari (light crispy batter... so good!) and it came with a big lemon wedge (I prefer) and marinara (he prefers) so that was a great touch. (We ate before I thought of pictures ) I ordered manicotti with Alfredo sauce and he ordered the sausage pepper platter. Mine was super rich and creamy and he said his tasted authentic. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. oh the bread that comes to the table was amazing! I wish I would have waited and dipped it in that Alfredo sauce!

If you are looking for a great Italian restaurant that's local, I highly recommend Moni's. I have been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience with the service or the food. My favorite is the Shrimp Alfredo made with Angel Hair. It's nice that they will devein the shrimp. You can taste that the Alfredo sauce is homemade with how buttery it is. I am not a fan of alcohol but this place is BYOB. I don't have any pictures of the Tiramisu since I always take it to-go. But you should give it a try, when you stop by.

I really hope I just experienced a bad night for Moni's. My husband and I met some friends here for a birthday dinner. The service was friendly and we were warmly welcomed! Hubby and I ordered mozzarella sticks, two Caesar salads, and our entrees (baked ziti and the tortellini entree). Both of us were really disappointed in all of our food. The mozzarella sticks needed seasoning (though the marinara sauce for dipping was very good), the Caesar salad came drenched in croutons (which tasted like they were store bought and honestly distracted from the salad), and both of our pastas were severely overcooked. I liked the sauce that the tortellini was in, but the noodles feel apart). While the service and ambiance were friendly and welcoming, the food was a miss and we won't be back.

Service, as usual, was fantastic.. we ordered garlic cheese bread. Ordered a salad and vodka rigatoni. My husband ordered Philly cheese steak. He said it was good. Needed more juice to the sandwich. This is my favorite!!!!!

Traveling as tourists from Dallas to Fort Worth we found this family owned Italian restaurant on Yelp. We were rewarded with a delicious meal and hospitable service! The food was fresh and delicious! And we could see lots of takeout orders being picked up and many local diners. If you're passing by I recommend you stop .

We love Monis however I'm not much of Italian food person! Our waiter was awesome the place is great for large groups and has a great atmosphere! I really seem to have bad luck ordering chicken Parmesan mine was almost burnt and didn't taste well at all! The rolls tonight were not their normal soft and delicious they were hard to eat tonight! I recommend this place just not the chicken Parmesan! Good eating everyone!

I have read many reviews on Moni's on the local foodie pages. I may have rebelled a bit or continued to visit the Italian restaurants closer to my home. I was invited to dinner and decided to accept and give them a try. NEW FAVORITE! The first thing you experience is the friendly welcome upon walking inside. There's a feeling of family. Our party ordered pizza, salads, and some had their fav pasta dishes. We decided to try them again last weekend. The Tortellini Michelangelo is my new favorite dish! - even over than my favorites from NYC's Little Italy. A creamy pink sauce with sauté onions, bacon, artichoke, mushrooms and tomato. Heavenly! A wood burning oven for delicious pizzas! The owners and family greet customers, visit tables of their guest. It's where the locals enjoy pasta and pizza!

The customer service alone is worth the visit. It's hard to find genuine interactions with servers and owners these days, but everyone here makes you feel like family. We've been multiple times and make it a point to try something new each visit, and so far everything has been a 10/10. We love making Moni's part of our Saturday evenings. We truly can't say enough great things about this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for amazing food and an even better experience.

We got there at 11:15 on a Thursday and it wasn't crowded but by the time we left, it was. I did my research before I got there and suggest you do the same; the menu is huge!! I knew I wanted the Eggplant Florentine and was glad I added the veggie side. I asked for extra bread and took 1/2 home for lunch the next day; it was even better!! I liked the spacing of the dining area; the tables were spread out with plenty of space. I can't wait to try the chicken piccata that Austin; who was awesome; recommended!!

You want old school authentic Italian food that hits the spot? This would be one of the better places to go in Arlington! It's all about the food and the family hospitality. Not some the "showy" type high priced restaurants that's meant for bougie people. It's about the food and warm great family atmosphere. That's it! Nothing super fancy! My apologies for not taking pics of the rest of my our dishes but I couldn't wait to dig in to my plate! Lol Oh their house marinara sauce was outstanding!

Garlic Bread W/cheese and side of Marinara

A lil wine, lil pasta, lil garlic bread.. Shrimp fra diavolo is my favorite. We found this new spot that's authentic, flavorful and none of that can/jar or watered down taste in all their sauces. We're obsessed. 10/10

Zio Al's is open until 3am and they have beautiful, hot, cheesy pizzas, pasta, calzones, and sub sandwiches. And wings and tenders! And great salads, french fries, breadsticks, a Zaatar wrap and Zaatar pizza. Halal options (they use beef products in place of pork) and veggie options. They don't currently have gluten free pizza crust or pasta, but they do have fresh, crunchy, customizable salads that are delicious. I'm all about a Greek salad or a grilled chicken Caesar salad, hold the croutons. Salad might not sound as appealing as fried jalapeño poppers or a meatball lovers pizza at 2 in the morning, but these salads are sizable with good produce and plenty of dressing. Can't complain too much! PS: If you find yourself at Hooligan's Pub around the corner, you can order food directly from Zio Al's to enjoy there.

I thought it was going to be like New York pizza, not a crunchy wheat thin crust with salad haphazardly tossed on top. My friend got a ham and pineapple pizza, it was okay, crust dint taste like anything. She also got ravioli and I wasn't a fan. I got a Greek salad which was good though! We ended up taking the food back but I didn't even eat it later, disappointing. I get why this place is popular it's in a college town and portions are large, prices are decent. I think I'm just spoiled being in California. Service was great, the for helping us answered our questions
