I wish I could give Amore Mio Trattoria a better review, but I can't and be honest in my review. I really thought about the 2-stars, but that's all the visit warrants and that is pushing it. But I'll settle on 2 stars. This review is for a visit that was made the middle of November 2024. A group of "foodie friends" decided to meet up at Amore Mio Trattoria since none of us had ever dined at the restaurant. It was a Friday evening, and our party was one of the only diners in the restaurant. We'd all heard such wonderful things about the restaurant. Our group was excited to be get together there. The food was good, but the service was terrible. As slow as the restaurant was on a Friday evening, we all expected better service. Entrees were coming out really slow and one member of our party waiting over 30 minutes for their dinner while all of us already had ours. Our entrees were good, but in our opinion, WAY overpriced. 20% gratuity was tacked on to our ticket, totally understandable with our party, but the service we received didn't even warrant 10%. We even had to get up to fill our own water. There was a conformation with the staff telling us to leave, never come back and go to another restaurant. Sad, our group was expecting so much more, but it was just a bad experience all the way around especially for a $151 bill for two with a bottle of wine.

Service needs improving because I felt like we had to do everything ourselves. Even though they had almost nobody else in the restaurant. The server did not speak, did not offer drinks or refills. The server did not talk about the menu or what if there were any specials. No one asked how the food was after it came out. We had an issue with the service and the servers did not seem to care. No manager came out to see what the issue was. They had a 20 percent tip added onto the bill for so-called service since we had eight people. Our bill was 74.00 for two people, that was just one caesar salad and two pastas meals, no drinks no desserts since no one offered any. If you are going to add a 20 percent tip automatically you must have great service if you want people to come back. My meal, the pasta with mushroom and chicken, was okay. I like pasta, mushrooms and sauce. The chicken was a little tuff and chewy. The caesar salad was good the bread and oil were also good.

We arrived as a group on Friday at 7 PM to an almost empty restaurant. One of the meals came 30 minutes after the others, and my order was incorrect but still arrived before my friend's, which seemed forgotten. This created tension with the staff, which escalated when, after paying a check with a 20% automatic gratuity, the server's response was yelling for us to "Leave and go to Olive Garden!" We won't be back. The food was decent but overpriced at $30 a plate, with small meat portions and lots of leftover pasta, especially with the chicken Parmesan.

As mentioned in previous reviews, the service is meh but could've been better as we were the only one in the restaurant. The restaurant is very pretty and the ambiance is cozy and open but food is ok and WAY overpriced. First, my husband order was wrong and what he ordered doesn't justify the cost since menu said "Prawns" but it was not and it's only medium shrimp. Secondly, the manager was going to charge us for the wrong order and didn't apologize however our waiter was open and honest telling us that this was on the ticket. Kudos to him for doing that and truly taking care of his customers. I don't think we would be returning as there are better options for Italian food.

Mediterranean style vibes restaurant with great staff. Pizzas were good, however happy hour drinks were a miss on the day we dined. Staff very attentive. Cannoli sampler was tasty. There was live music.

Went to Amore Mio on a weekday evening with the family. Menu is limited but it allows them to focus on the dishes which we were all pleasantly surprised with. Everything tasted good but prices are a bit higher than most other Italian mom-and-pop restaurants in the area. The inside was designed nicely and it did pick up later in the evening but I don't believe they were staffed well since we only saw one waiter. He did a great job managing the driver service alone. You can park on the street or in the garage attached to the building!

Took my parents here twice for lunch and the food is great! Restaurant could use more staffing but doesn't deter from the experience. Food: Portions are very filling. Flavor is great. Dishes with sauces aren't too heavy. Pizza (prosciutto) is pretty good as well. No complaints here! Service: The restaurant is new and staff is low during lunch. However, waitresses were attentive and food didn't take long to come out. I will give them a pass on this because while staff is low, they do try. Location: The restaurants location is fantastic and very atmospheric. The big windows and the restaurant being at the corner of Abrams create a very open and pleasant experience. Overall: Nice to have a little Italian restaurant here in Arlington. Check it out!

We had a reservation here for my daughter's graduation celebration. We called after graduation ended and asked if our reservation could be bumped up by 2.5 hours. They were happy to accommodate. We ordered our food and maybe 7 glasses of moscato between my daughter and I. The Moscato was suggested by the manager. Excellent choice. The food was amazing. We had the creamiest Fettuccine Alfredo, and the most amazing Cesar salad. For dessert, pana cotta for me and a lava cake with luscious vanilla ice cream for the guest of honor. The staff are so friendly, accommodating, helpful and timely delivering food. The restaurant is modern and clean. The restrooms are clean and well-stocked. We'll be back.

Great flavor and plenty of clams, mussels and shrimp. We also really enjoyed the crispy pork - nice little kick in the sauce and the perfect amount of marbling in the meat. The carpaccio was Texas-sized. Speaking of Texas-sized, do not skip the award-winning coconut cake. It is on the pricey side for a dessert but it easily feeds 4 and yes, it is that good! Our server, Tiffani, was outstanding. She was very attentive throughout our meal, and when the Rioja we wanted was out, she poured my wife several samples to help her decide on another bottle - we ended up w an excellent easy-drinking Paso Robles Cabernet. This place is definitely worth the trip!

We opted for the tapas-style sharing, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. They recommended the shrimp, which was hands-down the highlight of the meal! However, the rest of the menu fell a bit short. With tapas, you expect every small bite to pack a punch, but the flavors here leaned more 'middle-of-the-road' than standout. My biggest issue, however, was the atmosphere. While I always appreciate a spotless restaurant, the staff was cleaning during service, and the overwhelming smell of bleach and Fabuloso totally took over the dining room. It's hard to enjoy a meal with strong chemical fumes in the air. Overall: fantastic staff and location, but the food and dining environment need some fine-tuning.

I asked if it could be cooked a little longer. The server said it would take about five minutes, but when the dish came back, the texture was exactly the same. It didn't seem like anything had been changed. What made the experience even more disappointing was the service. The server never came back to check if the recooked dish was satisfactory. Instead, she only stopped by to ask if I wanted a to-go box. I've dined at this restaurant several times before and have always had a good experience, which makes this visit especially disappointing. Unfortunately, this was the worst experience I've had here and the lack of professionalism and customer service.
