This is near UTA so probably works well within the college student budget. We ordered delivery and got a small pizza (very small for $7.99) pasta & pink sauce, and a salad. The salad.. lord help me, to be fair, I fully expect a $2 tossed salad to be pretty plain but at an Italian joint, the dressing is what sings. They give you a packet of hidden valley. Just no. Ryan asked for light sauce and it was heavy heavy sauce. Otherwise it was okay. I like sauce a lot and the pizza still didn't have a lot going for it. My pasta was fine, had a bit of a strange aftertaste. Never again, we will order from pretty much anywhere else. No need to settle when Arlington offers so many great Italian places. Just not here.

Stay away.

By far my favorite pizza in the area. Coming from New Haven, CT area, the pizza here is the closest I've had to that NY/New haven slice. Crust is thin and crispy with the right amount of sauce and toppings. Plus side: they don't serve pork and their pepperoni is beef!! It's also in a convenient area, have indoor seating, and it's a family business with very friendly owners. Can't go wrong grabbing a pie from here!!

My fraternity brother took me and a few others to this place and ive been back on multiple occassions. Being right across the UTA campus, just passed the parking lots is quite convenient and given their daily specials makes this place a definite win! Only 5 months open with dine in, takeout, and delivery services. Dine in is small but always clean. Parking is right in front and on a strip of some of your other favorite eats. The guys that work there are some of the friendliest, nicest, and highly social I've encountered within the area. They definitely keep me coming back. It's a great place for lunch or dinner. I highly recommend you check it out for yourself whenever you get that craving for some pizza or cheesecake. ;) You won't be disappointed.

My Co-Worker ordered from here the other day and had it delivered to work. I ended up just ordering just a slice of pepperoni pizza. I think It came to about $2.50, which isn't so bad it was a large thin NY style pizza. (compared to the joint by my house for one slice is like $4.50). I plan on ordering here again, only downside the slice was the most greasy slice I've had in a long time, so I guess it's not the worst thing ever when it doesn't happen all the time, right? Small spot near UTA with THE best pizza, period. Thin oily New York style slices and quick service. Prices are great, and the customer service is excellent. They're also very quick with deliveries. You can ask for the pizza to be made spicy! They make it with the crushed red pepper inside. We also love their pasta dishes. You're welcome for helping you find the best pizzeria in DFW.

Got delivery from here a couple times. I love the trio pasta and stromboli. My friend loved the chicken parm sub and pepperoni calzone. We also split the eggplant rollatini and both enjoyed it. It was my first time trying eggplant and if this is the way it's normally made I really like it. I'd heard it's an acquired taste but either I naturally like it or this place is very good at making it. The only con I can think of is that the cannoli tastes good but at least for me isn't worth it. It's one cannoli for like $4. Meanwhile for like $5 you could get a piece of tiramisu, which was great. Overall definitely ordering again. I'll try in person sometime to make sure delivery is good value but it seems to be. read more

We went to a concert at Texas Hall at UTA. We were stuck at the end of the line to leave in the parking lot afterwards with our starving toddler. Decided to walk down the street to see what we could find to eat and stumbled in here. Honestly the best pizza we've had in a while! The seating area was small but very clean and cozy! We had a one topping large pizza, a baked tortellini, two water bottles and a can of Dr. Pepper for $30! read more

I went to a "NY PIZZERIA" in Arlington... they tried to tell me i couldn't get a slice of a "speciality pizza" only the whole pie. WELL THATS NOT NY PIZZA. Ordered a pepperoni calzone today and a side of 4 meatballs. The meatballs looked white and frozen meat and tasted sour like it was rotten. They looked and tasted horrible, and cost 2.00 a meatball. The calzone. Very basic. read more

Can't even give this place a star placed a order through Uber eats and had a driver steal my food and Uber eats said they sent out another drive but when that driver gets to the store they won't make the order for that driver that's not even half of what happened when I was talking to the store the owner I guess got on the phone and bearly spoke English and understood what I was saying she called her some over and he sounded like he didn't even know what to say or do was just being coached through mom ( there was a brief moment of silence) would not recommend placing a order here at all read more

Ordered 2 slices of meat lovers, gotta say, not too great! It appeared that the meat lovers toppings and "some" extra cheese were plopped on old slices of cheese pizza from a previous day....... sauce had dried up, cheese was dry and hard and the slice itself without the toppings was very firm and cardboard like. I have only been here twice but it has been a 50/50 experience. Do not cut corners for the sake of getting rid of old product! read more

First off, I love the location of this humble restaurant. Second, I love the pricing of the pizzas too. Third, I just LOVE their cheesecake/dessert selection. Wow! I can't seem to find negative things about NY Pizzeria. UTA students in mind, this place has it down. Their $5 personal pizza deal is insane, with a choice of one topping, which you can split down the middle, i.e. I had my PP include a half topping of pepperoni, and the other half of tomatoes. Yumminess! And my wallet agrees. Plus, I finished it off with the Black Forest cheesecake, which was creamy and tart. But I'd have to say that the chocolate cheesecake cannot be beat. I'm looking forward to trying their tiramisu and cannoli as well. It's all in the realm of possibility (and deliciousness) in the near future. Check it out if you're in the area, or a student wondering where all the good eats are around campus. Trust me, they're there, you just got to explore a little outside the campus perimeters. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! This pizzeria is a hole in the wall located in Arlington, TX. I say hole in the wall, because they're hard to find but packed with quality! I love frequenting this place with my close friends, and each and every time we're met with amazing, prompt service with a smile. this establishment is clean, well organized and they're super efficient with orders! Everything is home made and it's worth every penny. They have a wide variety of pizzas, pastas, subs, wings, etc. it's great to order for a large group or even for a small family. Fatbardh and his family take care of you as if you're their own. I love dining in because it's such a calm atmosphere, but picking up orders is just as effortless as well! Whenever my friends and I don't know what we are in the mood for, we always choose this place. The pizza is good quality as well affordable and it's always made fresh which keeps us coming back. Great place for a REALLY good, cheap pizza that tastes great! The special is the best, and the owner is very cool. One night he stayed open a little later because he knew I am a Mad Men fan, that I didn't have cable and wanted to finish the new episode. I'll never forget that. Everyone I've taken there keeps wanting to go back, and so do I. The kids who work the desk are often times apathetic, but that's high school/college freshmen for you. It's an easy walk from the UTA commuter lot, but they also deliver. Its a small, but always well air conditioned place that offers something well worth the price. I was excited they had a beef pepperoni but was not sure if they would nail the pizza. Went there to pick up and they were super friendly. Took it home and I was supprised how good it was. Nice thin crust with delicious beef pepperoni. Looking forward to try something else next. Updated post :: Changed my 4 stars to 5. Honestly, this pizza is Delicious and must try. Very clean place and supper nice service. The place is small so don't plane a big party there. The only downside of this place is that it is damn good and makes you keep ordering. This is absolutely my favorite pizza ever. Seriously. By far the greatest decision I've ever made. I had the supreme, with the ham and pepperoni (because duh, I can't ever get those anywhere else) and I was amazed at the flavor. The pizza is the closest I've had to NY pizza outside of NYC. I highly recommend this place. The service is wonderful as well, everyone greets you as you walk in and is there to help if you need anything. I would give them 10 stars if I could! Enjoy!! Ordered two pies for pickup. Crust was definitely thin, as a cracker. Husband got plain cheese. Very flavorful and surprisingly good, since I don't like red sauce. Mine was the special white with no tomatoes because I love a good white pizza with the right amount of garlic. Unfortunately this wasn't it. Missing the flavor of a great white pizza. Not saying I am not going to eat, but I would go back for more if it had more flavor. read more

Not a big fan of thin crust pizza, but I oddly loved the pizza from here! The slices were much bigger than I imagined, so one slice would've sufficed for me. The caeser salad was delicious. Not a big fan of the "pasta trio", as it was covered in too much sauce and the pasta itself was a tiny bit bland. Overall though, it was a good experience! Even the spot itself was an adorable little place and the staff was very friendly. read more

So, we're new to the area, from Arlington, but north and south. 2 great things about New York Pizzeria: 1: The Supreme pizza is probably the best we've had in a very long time; 2: I can walk here in less than 3 minutes (boy, this could be a bad thing) Can't wait to try a few more things on the menu, but 5 Stars for the pizza and who made it! read more

Closest pizza to real NY pizza from in NY. Thin crust lightly crispy and soft inside. Food is ready real quick. Great toppings friendly staff one of my favorite pizza spots. Get what you pay for, the quality is well worth the price in my experience. Some of these college kids complaining about price should find their way to cici's. read more

This is our first time ordering for delivery and we got a create your own thin crust pizza which is a normal 10' small size pizza. It was so flavorful my husband and I enjoyed pizza for the first time in a long time because most of them taste like cardboard. I also got a meatball sub which was great. The garlic bread was crusty and good but could have used more garlic butter. Overall, this is a great flavorful Pizza compared to so many in Arlington. read more

By the time the store opened, the line had grown to being over twenty parties long, so plan accordingly if you don't want to be waiting for a while. Between the four in our party, we shared a three meat BBQ plate with bacon burnt ends, brisket, and their house made sausage. For our two sides, we chose their hatch chile mac n cheese and their Mexican street corn. Following the recommendations of many Yelpers, we also ordered two of the brisket tostadas and two of the birria tacos. When we received our plate of meat, I was a bit surprised at how little of each meat there was on the plate, but in hindsight, this ended up being the perfect amount of food, where everyone was able to get a sample of everything. Of the items we ordered, my favorite was definitely the burnt ends. These were melt in your mouth tender, and was insanely rich and decadent. Each of the three pieces in our order had a beautiful bark on the outside that resulted in a satisfying crunch with every bite. The casing to the sausage was snappy and the sausage itself was very juicy. The brisket was fall apart tender. The brisket was a bit light on seasoning, so I ended up using the Aztec Gold BBQ sauce they had sitting at the table with it. The sides that we chose were both delicious. The pasta in the mac n cheese was cooked perfectly and the noodles was generously sauced. The elote was sweet and smokey, and the Cotija cheese added creaminess to the side. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Hurtado Barbecue and wouldn't hesitate to recommend a visit if you're in Texas and are looking for great tasting BBQ.

I had high expectations when visiting NY Pizzeria, especially with a name that claims to offer "New York-style" pizza. Unfortunately, the experience fell significantly short of that promise. The pizza lacked flavor, particularly in the tomato sauce, which was noticeably bland. The meat toppings were extremely sparse, and the vegetables were not properly diced--rather, they were roughly chopped, which made the overall eating experience awkward and unpleasant. The crust was overly thin, to the point where the cheese would slide off with each bite, making the pizza difficult to enjoy. While I didn't try their sub sandwiches, which may potentially be better, the pizza alone was a major letdown. As someone who has had authentic New York-style pizza, I can say with confidence that this is not even close. It more closely resembles something you'd expect from a fast-food arcade chain, or worse, something akin to cardboard. To be honest, even CiCi's Pizza offers a better experience--and at a lower price point. In terms of atmosphere, while the staff were friendly and courteous, the space itself is small and quite congested. There are only one or two tables available outside, which doesn't do much to improve the limited capacity and cramped feeling inside. Spending nearly $18 for a 12-inch pizza of this quality felt like a waste, and I regret not heeding the reviews I had read prior to visiting.
