I love Chinese food and this is prob the best take out in TR! Have been ordering from here for over 10 years. Placed an online order for lunch yesterday which was awesome because you can pay online too. I ordered 2 lunch specials, the shrimp lo mein as well as shrimp with broccoli. Both served with fried rice and a choice of soup or an egg roll. Also ordered the crab rangoon and fried scallops for apps all for $25. Food was delivered in about 35 mins and it was delicious. The food here is decent but the place itself isnt very clean. I would be forewarned that this is not the best in Toms River.

First I ordered delivery and they arrived in like 20 minutes and the food was great! So good that I ended up walking and getting a pick up order the next day. Again very good and didn't disappoint! They even gave me the lunch special price even after it was over! read more

This is definitely my favorite Chinese takeout in town. I've tried a lot of Chinese restaurants and their by far the best! Their food isn't greasy like most Chinese food and doesn't leave you with that 'I wish I didn't eat this' feeling afterwards. You can easily tell that their food is pretty high-quality and fresh. The food here was good. A lot better than some of the other flavorless locations in the area. Delivery time on a Saturday night wasn't horrendous but average for the area and time. The food was hot when delivered. The steamed dumplings were delicious. The only issue I had is we were supposed to receive 2 pints of white rice and instead only got one. We didn't bother to call because honestly we had more than enough for the 2 of us and didn't want to wait for the new delivery, but it happens sometimes. read more

Nothing of the ordinary but the time for delivery could be better and taking orders more attentively. Food was ok!! Chicken teriyaki was over cooked, rice was a little dry, chicken wings kids suggested that it taste like spoiled milk but over all I guess ok. Maybe second time around it'll be better. read more

I love chinese food but everywhere I've been had been mediocre at best. Unitl now. After my go to place had changed hands and the food declined I decided to give Number 1 a try and it did not disappoint. The food was very fresh and flavorful. I had put in a request for the chicken and garlic sauce (which was outstanding) to have extra baby corn and they made it to my request. I will definitely be going back and wpuld recommend to anyone. read more

As said in other orders, it is a typical Chinese restaurant, but I personally like this place a lot. It gives off good vibes and the food is always solid. The last behind the counter is really nice. Again, the food isn't spectacular but it is good, just as you'd expect from a Chinese place. The egg-rolls I actually prefer the most over other places! This was the worst customer service I've dealt with in a long time. My order was delivered, missing an item. And when I called to rectify the error, the lady who answered stated that I didn't pay for the item even though I was staring at the itemized receipt during the phone call. After finally convincing her to deliver the rest of my PAID order, she proceeded to hang up on me. In which, the item was never delivered. I will never place an order here again after such poor service. And what's worse is that I paid in full for an item I never received. Never again. read more

Filthy inside and the food was terrible! Dirty pots and pans in the dining section, and it smelled disgusting. If I hadn't already paid online, I would have walked out immediately. Great Wall is soooo much better read more
