It's to go Chinese. It's pretty close. Nothing crazy. Not bad either. Had the Mandarin chicken and was pretty good.

Now there are numerous locations scattered across the city since it's og location in Flushing. I went to the one in Chelsea nestled on 8th avenue. Oddly across the street from the Google Headquarters and conveniently near the train. It's a decent sized spot with a cafeteria like communal style seating. You order your food on a kiosk making it a cash free flow system. Although, they did say at the counter when I was picking up my order that they also accept cash. It's just faster using the kiosk machine. We both went with the famous spicy cumin lamb hand ripped noodles at the extra heat level. I'm wondering if the extra heat was a rookie mistake. I can handle the heat but I'm not sure if I loved the extra in this sense as it took away a little from the other flavors and it's more swimming in chili oil than opposed to a liberal dab everywhere. The noodles are perfection. Thick and chewy with so much flavor. The lamb is melt in your mouth and easily pulls apart. In the winter or when it's a cold and rainy day again I want to try the noodle soup. The dumplings and lamb burgers are also seriously tempting. It's an amazing flavor bomb and 100% lives up to the hype.

The hand pulled noodles here are super tender and tasty with a bunch of options to try them. The lamb cumin noodles are a classic so I recommend them to folks. It's got some tender lamb and a nice spice to it that's just super satisfying. I also recommend people try the chrysanthemum tea! It's a subtly sweet floral tea that pairs nicely with the spice from the noodles.

Yeah Id say that was a pretty splendid meal. Shared everything thank goodness…read more Started with the wok fried beef dumplings which were good on their own but had this fire ahh spicy honey mustard wow. Then the scallion pancakes which were crispy and airy paired with this very interesting sauce that was clear but tasted like sweet and sour sauce. For mains we got Kung Pao Chicken which was pretty delicious but my star of the show was the Crispy Beef. It was crispy asf and skinny too I didn't know you could make beef skinny like that. Sauce was super tasty and thick. On the side was broccoli which was fine and eggplant which was fine on its own and good with the chili sauce. Split the Fortune Cookie Red Velvet Cake which okay I thought there would be more creativity with adding fortune cookies somewhere in the cake but it was just a cake with fortune cookies on top. Also they put 2 when we had 4 people like lowkey they couldve just put 2 more on there but anyways the cake itself was pretty tasty so can't complain there.

The food is all over the place but the main theme is that everything is over-seasoned to please the crowd of people who all were gulping down colorful sugary cocktails with dinner while wearing athletic clothing. Peking duck (for 4-5) had great accompaniments (rare to actually get bao with it) but it was a lackluster portion of duck. Salt and pepper shrimp were offensively salted. Special "mignon" was great. The hand-pulled noodles *gasp* weren't hand pulled. "BBQ" chicken in the other noodles was very dry. Sea bass portion was very small. Scallion pancakes were good. Shrimp dumplings were the highlight. I recommend skipping this restaurant.

Service: Pretty quick, maybe way too quick!! The person serving us was patient and helpful and nice. Food: With this place being Halal I didn't need to worry if my broth was made out of pork or not, which is pretty nice. The meat was very soft and tasty, easy to bite into while the noodles it self were not simmered enough in the broth, making them little bit bland. The broth was not spicy at ALL which needed me to add some Chilli oil (cause usually there are spice levels when you make an order, somehow this place doesnt do that) so you are safe when it comes to spices here you are safe.

Service: The service is very quick and efficient. They bring your food as it gets ready and they also promptly take away any empty glasses/plates so there is a little bit of hovering around, but I guess that's a reasonable model for a popular place like that. Drinks: The drinks were honestly my favorite part of our meal! Each drink we got was not only crafted with care, but the attention to details was commendable. None of the drinks we had were hard and were very smooth on the palate. Food: We got the Chutoro Laab, Chilean Sea Bass Chakram Curry, and the Beef Cheeks Massaman Curry. All three dishes were mouthwateringly good! I couldn't decide which I liked more - they were all so fragrant and appetizing. Portions were perfect for the two of us - not too small nor large. She handled the change from four to two very professionally and efficiently and got us seated almost immediately, which was really nice. Our waiter provided good service, but what really stole the show was the food itself. The beef cheek curry was absolutely phenomenal. The beef literally melted in your mouth, and the curry was extremely flavorful, just all-around amazing. The branzino was also really, really good. It came with a sauce that almost put me in the mind of chimichurri - it wasn't chimichurri, but had a similar freshness to it and it paired really well with the fish. We also ordered the green beans, which were surprisingly one of the highlights. They were grilled and drizzled with garlic chili oil, with a tofu cream at the base and crispy shallots. They were tender but still had that nice crunch and freshness you want from green beans. Really, really good. I can be a tough critic, but overall I'd give the experience an 8/10. I would definitely go back. If you're looking for a place with really good food, a great vibe, and beautiful ambience, I'd recommend it. The outside is extremely unassuming, but once you walk in, you get this warm, friendly, almost family-style atmosphere. The aesthetic is gorgeous and the space is just beautiful. Overall, great experience. Great service, great food, and great ambience. It does get a little loud at times, so you may find yourself struggling to hear the person across from you--but for a really good New York restaurant, that's almost expected. I would definitely visit again.
