Small Plate of Mushroom and Chicken Noodles, with a Laziza Non-Alcohol Malt Beer
    Jonathan D.

The chicken and noodle plate is perfect winter food. The wide noodles sucked up the sauce, which (unlike some Central Asian flavor profiles) so hot as to numb the tongue. There was even a hint of sweetness to the sticky broth. The generous addition of potatoes and sautéed peppers meant that this "small" plate justified its $21 price. The friendly and helpful staff deserve a mention too. Their service was very quick.

Beef Noodle Soup - bowl was pretty big and the homemade noodles were plenty! The chili oil isn't spicy but it's very flavorful. I wasn't a fan of the plastic spoons, especially with the piping hot liquid. There's a QR code / kiosk to order and then someone brings out the food.

Food (5/5): We ordered the Signature Prawn noodle which ended up being white delicious and flavorful with juicy prawns and the noodles had great texture. Only thing to watch out for is that a lot of the menu items like lobster noodles, sliced beef soups and others that are in the Yelp pictures are no longer sold here. Service (5/5): No issues with the service whereby we got seated fast on a Thursday night and the food came out quickly. Ambiance (5/5): Nice shop interior with plenty of seating and good amount of space. The red lighting in the back above the kitchen looked nice, the signage was sleek, and the wooden seats and wall styles were classic. Overall really nice vibe.

This restaurant's logo caught my attention and I was hungry, so I decided to give this place a try. Everything on the menu looks so good but I decided to only order one item and I ordered their signature prawn noodle with garlic butter. When the order came out, I was slightly disappointed because it didn't really look like the picture on the menu. I decided to give it a try and I like how there was a lot of garlic and butter flavor. But besides that, it was not that special. The service was good (the server refilled my water) and did not rush us to leave when I was done eating. The decorations were simple and clean, with plenty of seatings.

The broth of the beef noodle soup was actually best noodle broth I've ever tasted. I could have a whole bowl of just the broth itself. The hand pulled noodles themselves were very soft, perfectly cooked. I couldn't get enough of it, and perfect for this freezing weather too. We ordered the beef dumplings as well which were well flavored, not too much dough, and just the right amount of steam. It was cool to see their open kitchen concept where you could see the noodles being made. Service itself was a tad bit slow, however they had just opened at the time of my visit, so I'll chalk it up to that. This is my new go to spot for halal beef noodle soup for sure

I was seated immediately during lunch hours on a weekday and served water. I ordered the beef noodle soup and a flatbread. The beef noodle soup tasted similar to pho to me, the beef was good, noodle was also good, but the noodle soup was quite small. I left satisfied though. I also noticed there was no section to add tip, so I guess they don't accept tip? I had the flatbread after and it was also amazing. It had the chili pepper flavor and the flatbread was thick and soft, super satisfying. Great spot for a casual eat, although I think the beef noodle soup portion was quite small.

We stopped at Tangy Noodle for lunch. I had Uyghr Noodles and my spouse had beef brisket noodles and broth. We tried the flatbread, which was very spicy with a noticeable cumin flavor. The service is prompt, seating us immediately, and bringing water straight to the table. The restaurant is clean and pretty, with a seating counter overlooking the noodle making area. I recommend you check them out!

We always saw lots of people in the restaurant whenever we walked back to our hotel. So we decided to try it for our take out dinner. - Homemade wonton with chili sauce: the wonton pieces were good! The meat was flavorful and the chili sauce gave good heat. The portion was quite generous. - Tangy special noodle: hubby devoured it and said that it was delicious. The noodle was chewy yet still has some firmness to it. The chasu was tender and well seasoned. The meat sauce was simply delicious.

Walked in on a Wednesday evening at 8pm and the restaurant was mostly empty. We were seated immediately and the staff were kind to explain their most popular dishes. It is a quiet casual restaurant with good service. Signature prawn noodle: the waiter offered us the option to have the spice on the side to adjust to our desired spice level. Without spice it tasted like butter noodles. The prawns were nicely cooked. I recommend ordered with the spice or on the side as it is very buttery. Special tangy noodle: this was our favorite out of all 3 dishes. The noodles were chewy and the sauce was delicious. Each bite was flavorful and the meat and egg were yummy. Beef noodle: this dish was ok. The noodles were cooked well and the broth was good. The beef was overcooked so it was hard to chew.

Known for its authentic Hand-Pulled Beef Noodle Soup, Tangy Noodle combines traditional Lanzhou flavors with a modern dining experience. Perfect spot for halal food lovers seeking that real Lanzhou experience in the heart of Manhattan. Good service and friendly staffs. Highly recommended

Tangy Noodle Came into the city for dinner , I've been wanting to try tangy noodle For a while now. I ordered the Beef noodle soup ($18) medium spice With extra noodles ($3). The medium spice was perfect for me as I'm not into very spicy food anymore. The broth was delicious and hardy and was so good. I had to order extra noodles. Please note Noodles are made in house, which is a plus considering most restaurants outsource their noodles. Service was great, all the staff were welcoming and friendly, and answered all of my questions. The interior was casual with seating for about 25 to 30 people. I would definitely come back again. Let me know if you gave this place a try too. Give this place a try, and follow me on yelp, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube as I travel the world in search of the perfect bowl of noodle soup. @noodlesoupr

After visiting Museum of illusions, my husband was craving Chinese food. We did a Yelp search for food near the museum and came up with few options and based on the reviews decided to walk to Tangy Noodle. I am so glad we picked this place. The service and the good was great. It's a small restaurant but has a good amount of tables for seating. The staffs were super nice and the place was very clean. We ordered, the pineapple fried rice, the pan fried dumplings, and Signature Prawn Noodle. We also ordered the Mango and Lychee bubble tea. The pineapple fried rice was inside a half of a pineapple. Not only did the dish looked pleasing to the eye, it was pleasing to the taste buds too. It was very flavorful with fresh pineapple chunks. The bubble teas were great too, just the right amount of sweetness to each one. But if I had to pick my favorite, I would pick the mango bubble tea! All the items were delicious. All the food came out pretty quickly after placing our order. Definitely would recommend this place.

The beef soup is clear and light and the noodles have a delightful texture, with a slight chew and good bounce. There's a good portion of braised beef as well. Tender but a bit fatty for my taste, but given the portion it's not going to kill you. Lamb burger ended up as overkill and will be consumed as leftovers but a quick sampling let me know that it's gamey and fatty with strong notes of cumin. Not a bad thing, but something to note for people that might not generally enjoy lamb or cumin. Black pepper beef rice bowl was solid too. Spice wise, you can calibrate accordingly but I'd recommended at least their regular spice level. Decent amount of tenderized but still chewy beef. Both dishes came with a salad of celery, carrot, cucumber, peanuts and seaweed strips in a light sauce. Couldn't quite figure out the sauce but it was lightly tart and refreshing. Space is clean and modern. Neutral wood, well lit. Service is friendly enough. If you dine in, you order at the kiosk and they'll deliver to your table. We had leftovers that they graciously packed up. Solid choice. I hope they stick around as they do bring a different cuisine to the area.

The Ahi Tuna was the perfect and proper color it should be. The flavors were SPECTACULAR-WONDERFUL!!! NOTE: WAGAMAMA has added to their menu, since my last visit, so you now have a RAMEN SELECTION, and other yummy additions. I was too full from my spectacular Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl to try the Korean bbq Chicken Wings ($8.95) but, I will definitely be back to try them!! I'll post menu photos so you have an idea of the delicious food choices. (April 2026) My very first delicious bite of Ahi Tuna had a heavenly garlic flavor, it was wonderful, and the sweet green seaweed with rice only added to the wonderfulness. Vertical slices of cucumber, onion and scallion, also add deliciously to my wonderful Poke Bowl. Toasted sesame seeds, too. SIMPLY MARVELOUS!!! Remember to be sure to mix the poke bowl rice as you eat, so that you mix the rice with the yummy sauce that may accumulate at the bottom of the poke bowl. I usually eat a little while, THEN, mix the rice. This was so good, I had to eat, eat, eat, before I could stop to mix. LOL. That sweet green seaweed was so yummy!! A lovely mix of flavors...the garlic, the sweetness....I LOVED IT ALL SO MUCH!!!! When was the last time you enjoyed a dish so very much that you felt like standing up in the restaurant and telling everyone: THIS IS SOOO DELICIOUS!!!! Well, I felt like that, but I didn't stand up and tell everyone, but I did tell the manager, who happen to come to the table to ask how everything was. And I let him know how much I was enjoying the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. He explained why and how the tuna was so flavorful. We had a delightful brief foodie chat. What a joy!! The service is very nice here. I like the atmosphere too. And the music, which is cool; it does not interfere with thinking, or having a conversation. I really like it here . The women's rest room was very nice, and clean, with a Dyson Hand Dryer, so no paper towels on the floor. Yay! Helping our environment, too!! And I like the black and white wall paper, too. See my photos My last visit I enjoyed the Pad Thai, and the same non-alcoholic beverage, " Asian Mint Limeade", from the MINDFUL DRINKS area on the beverage menu. ($9.50) (April 2026). A nice treat! It does have a light carbonation (bubbles). This visit my delicious meal was from the BOWLS SECTION of the food menu, it was the AHI TUNA POKE BOWL ($17.95) (April 2026) With warm, and hot weather on the way, I know I will be enjoying this AHI TUNA POKE BOWL again...and again! If you love good food, good service, and a very cool environment, put this location of WAGAMAMA on your list ! (East side) LOCATED On THIRD AVE, at East 39th Street. There is OUTDOOR SEATING, too, with red umbrellas. See my photos. Enjoy yourself here. Totally delightful. There are several locations in Manhattan. I did not know that. So, the one I have dined at is ON THIRD AVENUE, at EAST 39th Street. Look for the Red Umbrellas outside, at the corner of East 39th Street and Third Avenue. Enjoy!!!

I remembered i liked my experience going to one in London in 2024 and decided to go. I love how attentive the wait staff are, a little too attentive. A waitress, she had long hair and a nose ring, approached me when I was just glancing her way during eating. I didn't need anything, but I appreciate the favor. That same waitress gave me my receipt too early like she wanted me to leave ASAP. This was right before I asked to look at the desserts after I finished my meal. A "Would you like some dessert?" would have be appreciated. Cedrick, my principal waiter, was phenomenal. He decided to take care of me after no one was at the hosting desk for 5 minutes after I arrived. I had the chicken potsticker ramen and it was delicious! The potsticker was seasoned very well: my favorite part. To drink, I had the Asian Arnold Palmer and it was a cute drink! Only downside is the sweetness was not even distributed through the drink, even after I mixed the drink. Even though I had an issue with the service, I saw how caring they were (he looked like a manager now) to a family that came after me with organizing their seats and getting a baby chair. I just wished they gave me the same respect instead of rushing me out the door.

We were guided toward the back, past white marble tables with beautiful mustard colored velvet chairs to the long countertop facing the open kitchen. We scanned QR codes to pull up the menu, and despite no omakase noodle offerings to be found, decided to stay because the menu options they did have sounded too good to pass up. Of course they had classic shio and miso ramens, but they also had a duck tsukumen, a red snapper ramen, a black truffle ramen, and the dish I set my sights on-- the uni mazemen. There were also lots of appetizers and a long list of high end onigiri featuring proteins like scallop lemon shio, A5 wagyu ponzu, and bluefin chutoro on offer. This place was the real deal. Our group shared the tebasaki wings-- so crispy and so flavorful, I could have inhaled a whole plate of these. The salmon, ikura, and apple appetizer that was served in a glass chalice was superb but even better was the bluefin tuna avocado sashimi with wasabi. That one was a winner across the board. And then my uni mazemen, which really stole the show. There was a very generous portion of uni that mixed with the savory sauce and al dente ramen noodles perfectly. This dish was rich, unctuous, and fresh and definitely delivered in value, though it was double the price of most other noodle bowls. Uni is a delicacy. Having just returned from a second trip to Japan I can say this place is really as good as any restaurant I visited in Japan, and it's right here in Murray Hill. These Murray Hill bros are lucky.
