When I looked to take my son-in-law for wings...a review said this is the place. It's a lie. They have restructured their menu. Gone are the fish and chips.. gone are Buffalo wings... gone was decent service. We walked into the main brew room and went to check out the corn hole game. We saw a door to the main food service and accidentally walked through the wrong door putting us inside the bar momentarily. We stepped out quickly and I even said oops. Suddenly a server came out and said sternly.."We can't have you walking behind the bar." I apologized...my son-in-law apologized and then I said, "Totally my fault, I am sorry." She said and I quote, "Yea, you look sorry!" ...Seriously... she said... "Yea... you look sorry." Then... then they made us walk back to check in at front. I would have just left but I vowed these world class wings. Nope... No Buffalo wings....we did order another kind and I will state that they were really good except.. we got one serving of ranch for a pound and half of wings...for two people. Not happy about that...PLUS... I asked for a side of fries... and was told...Nope... "You can't order fries as a side. You can only have it with a meal." She looked real sorry. " I said again,..Seriously? she said... "they changed it and it makes no sense... you should let them know to change it." So that is what I am doing. We came here only for the beers, so I don't have much to say about the food, though my mother-in-law ordered a steak salad and really enjoyed it. I had the tasting flight featuring the original beers, which were all well-balanced and solid beers. The brewery is located inside a sort of interesting industrial warehouse with several small businesses, including a distillery, restaurant, and some other stuff. We came on a recommendation from a friend. Really wanted to like the place, but it went from long wait to bad food. First had a drink by the River and played some Jenga with my son. It took an hour to get seated due to a miscommunication. The food took forever and it was just bad. Wife and I shared a Philly Cheesesteak and it was very dry, like it was sitting under the lights for too long. One son got the club sandwich and didn't even finish it. He said it was low quality ingredients and just blah. Other son got fish tacos which were dry. He said the fish tasted good, but no sauce. The beer, fries and fry sauce were good. Talk about a great place to have a drink with friends on the spokane river! Very large place, both inside and out. They have a pretty cool 'game' room near the outdoor seating. Very nice rustic feel about the place. The outside seating is where it's at, specially in late August! You have great, spaced out seating and a wonderful view of the river just a few steps away. I really liked the chairs right on the edge of the water where you can just watch the world drift by with a great craft beer. I could easily spend the whole day here. Great selection of beer, wine and a full bar for those that don't particularly like a cold beer. I have found it quite hard to find a blackened fish taco that is not fried in this area. So imagine my surprise, when there it was on the menu! Lightly seasoned, with a nice sauce and cabbage on the top. The chips n salsa that accompany it were quite tasty! The Firecracker chicken salad my mom got was a fresh take, and had a nice bite to it in heat! The burger my cousin got looked extremely yummy, though I didn't ask for a bite. He assured me it was delicious! The seasoned fries were very good and crispy! I'm sooooo coming back, as soon as possible before it gets too cold to hang outside. Just tried to go to our old favorite when we come to Spokane... how disappointing. We were seated by a hostess. Another woman brought waters to our table and told us we had to get up and order from the bar because there is no wait staff. We think maybe they are shorthanded today so my husband, son and I decide what we want....my husband gets up, stops the lady from what she's doing and they both walk the end of the bar to get the order. This is when we find out that they will not be having waitress at all, anymore! Seriously!! Soon after, a completely different woman brings our beer. Some time later yet another completely different woman brings our food. She hands me my salad and says "if anyone needs silverware it's over there" and points to the other side of the room and then walks away. I guess I am visibly irritated because one of the women comes to the table. I ask to talk to the manager. The manager comes over and tries to explain that the owner's accountant has advised them that it is more efficient to not have wait staff. The owners should know that accountants are good with money but probably not customer service and the experience people have at the establishment. Some people come into to relax not walk back and forth to the bar several times to order something. He is going on and on about the bier hall and how much more money can be made as I am sitting there with my son (obviously can't go into the bier hall). So I ask "what about families that can't go into the bier hall?" He starts to explain to me again how this is the way most restaurants are going. No-Li Brewhouse opened at noon today. It was there first day of their "new employment model" and by 12:30 they have a complaint to the manager and lost customers. I also feel horrible for the staff! What a strange situation for them and this will probably impact their tips. I will greatly miss my pistachio beer! read more

The beer and appetizers are amazing! The beer house is super cool and the staff are some of the best in Spokane! However there was a recent change to the entrees on the menu. This new menu is no where near as good as the last. I don't know if it's a new chef or what. The burgers are way over charred every time and the new chicken sandwiches are rough in comparison to the gold they had before . I'm pretty bummed that they took away the spicy Katsu which was my favorite chicken sandwich in all of Spokane. Over the place is amazing! I highly recommend the porch glow amber and the corner coast! Seriously best beer in town and you can't go wrong with apps are great! Food was decent and the service from our waitress was fine but if I could give this place a NEGATIVE 5 Star review I would because of the 2 lady managers on duty. I have never had a worse dining experience in my life. This place has 4 dining areas where only one of them allows you to order off the full menu. At the other 3, you can only order a few shareables and drinks. It was just after 4pm and we first sat outside. It was empty in the dining room and we were hungry so we went there to order food. We had a party of 16 and the 2 managers were super petty and mean and made things extremely difficult for us. Not accommodating at all. They wouldn't let us order take out to eat outside nor would they let a group of us sit inside, order food and send food out to them. Half of us were there initially, so we sat at one table first but then the rest of our party arrived and they wouldn't seat them saying they had to add their name to the wait list even though 2 tables were open. During that time we sent the kids outside and tried to sit with the adults at one table. They were pissed! When the second table opened up and we wanted to put the kids at the other, they said it HAD to be the original people at the first table and wouldn't allow us to sit how we wanted. We were not happy as it didn't make any sense and we were already willing to pay all on one check as they demanded, but in any case, we complied and sat by families at the two separate tables. But it gets worse, then they wouldn't allow us to stand and visit with our friends at the other table, they said "this place is not a fit for large parties and if you can't follow our rules we will have to ask you to leave". They kept staring at us and giving us dirty looks and then made it a point to come over every chance they could to make our dining experience as terrible as possible. It's like these two women were on power trips and woke up on the wrong side of the bed. They were spiteful, rude, mean, and should not be working in the service industry anywhere! I wish I got their names so I could share it here. I just felt bad for our server and our hostess who were nice and friendly and didn't understand why the managers were being so strict and mean. read more

He ordered the fish and chips (he loves halibut) and I had the fish tacos. This place is huge and awesome, with great food, amazing staff, fun activities and games, and with places to sit and relax like in Adirondack chairs along the river or in a cozy booth in the brew house. Their burgers are big and delicious and the Parm fries addictively good. The beer selection is diverse and all are at least above average with some standout stars. We especially loved all the day fade lemonades and seltzers. The huckleberry day fade is magical and we bought a truck load to take home. The staff manage a skillful balance between militant efficiency and welcoming friendliness, which was actually amazing to see. Victoria in particular was delightful, attentive, charming, knowledgeable and generally wonderful. One of my favorite places to go when I visit Spokane is the No-Li Brewhouse. Without a doubt, their outdoor space for drinking beer or playing a round of cornhole is the best in town. Situated beside a river with chairs lining along the bank and tables behind, it's the perfect area to gather. This time, I tried an IPA that had notes of Pastachio in it, and a sparkling Day Fade Seltzer. So refreshing and flavorful! For lunch, I ate the Sante Fe fish tacos with fries which was good with its spicy side and crunchy slaw inside, however, it lacked any kick and was kind of unmemorable. My boyfriend and I are big fans of No-Li, so on my trip to Spokane I had to stop by. Bought 3 growlers to take home and 2 crowlers of huckleberry hazy ipa. Tonight I tried the huckleberry and loved it. So fruity, but not in a fake or overpowering way. I got a honey mustard chicken sandwich with fries to go. It was ready in less than 15 min. and stayed hot and fresh in the car. LOVED the fries; perfectly crisp outside yet still thick and soft. Seasoned well and the fry sauce was awesome (didn't like their jalapeño ranch -- not spicy). Overall I liked the sandwich. My biggest gripe was for something named honey mustard, I wanted to taste way more honey and mustard!! If I pretended it was a standard fried chicken sando it was great. Unusually good bun, plenty of mayo (yes I am a mayo person!) and lettuce, BIG chicken hunk! A different cheese than American would be better though, and I felt the guacamole just got lost. Again though, in general super yummy. The employee (Madison I think?) who helped me was so kind! Trivia Night Review We frequent Monday's trivia night and really enjoy ourselves. Jason is super friendly and fun and always brings the laughs. The servers are great too. The food we order is always good. I feel as though the menu is somewhat limited but over all we always like what we try and usually try and get the Free Glass that comes with a certain beer but lately the beers have not been our favs. I'd like to see a lighter beer be on the menu for that soon. read more

Came here for lunch while our daughter played soccer at Gonzaga. I saw reviews about the pretzel so decided I had to order one, oh my LAWD! First, it's giant. Like. Huge. It comes with a jalapeño cheese sauce which is delicious. But the pretzel. It's the best pretzel I've ever had. Buttery. Soft. Great flavor. Brushed with a butter sauce?! I could've just ate two of these. We also got shrimp tacos to share and they were good, but all we could think about was that pretzel! The beer selection was also good and the service was friendly! There are not enough words to describe just how much we love No-Li! Of course our initial drive to come is always the incredible beer and seltzer selection, but once you come in and experience the awesome atmosphere and delicious food, it'll become a staple for your family too. Excellent brew pub! I have had their beer on the west side before but never on tap. Their space was perfect for having a few beers with lunch while watching the Seahawks game. For beer I had the nitro Tandem red, the slacker which was a orange-y vanilla brass ale and I had the switch hitter golden which was very good. Overall, they had a large selection of beers on tap to choose from. For lunch I had the Reuben sandwich. It was excellent! A lot of sandwiches tend to come with a ton of bread and not a lot of meat. This was the opposite! The corned beef was very tasty. It also came with fries. They were thin French fries and very tasty.
