Shops, restaurants, indoor & outdoor seating- ALL DECOR WAS INPORTED FROM MEXICO! Staff- SOOo nice!!! Food- SOOOOO GOOD!!! Wish it wasn't 20 miles from us. We walked from our hotel, so I'm not sure of parking. Signs to point you in the direction of the hostess stand, a BIG bar & lots of good vibes! All I can say is check this place out- no kidding!! I've been in Atlanta for years and have passed No Más numerous times. I was excited to finally try it, but sadly it was a disappointing experience. The decor is amazing, and I felt like it transported me to Mexico. But the good part stops here. Drink, a peach or passionfruit margarita, was ok. The food was ok. I got the trio - steak taco, chicken enchilada with mole sauce, and chicken tamale (with verde sauce I didn't order). The taco was ok, not horrible, but not anything I'd want again. It was an Americanized taco with a soft flour tortilla and lettuce and tomato. The mole was a little too chocolatey/rich for my tastes, but it wasn't bad. The tamale was great, but the sauce didn't complement it to me. And again, I didn't order that. Now to the service. This is really where it was a mess. From the hosts to the table, a mess! The hosts weren't very welcoming. We got seated promptly and it really went downhill. It took 10 minutes, maybe longer, for someone to come to our table. We tried to simply order drinks, but the order device wasn't working and the waiter was clearly overwhelmed. He said he would get someone and be right back. Then we seen him at another table...we were still sitting there...no drinks, no food, nobody taking our order. What I assume to be the manager came over and said she heard we were in a rush (clearly not because at this point we had been patiently waiting 20+ minutes), and started to take our order. She also didn't have a machine and wasn't writing anything down so I knew that something was about to get messed up. I also inquired about the parking code since the host said the servers have it. The manager seemed confused at first and went to ask. We finally got it. Fast forward, a waitress comes to the table. We have to re-explain our orders. She tried her best, but my order was slightly incorrect. I didn't want sauce on my tamale. My friend and I weren't sure if we got passionfruit or peach margs. We ordered passionfruit. And lastly, they forgot my friend's queso until we reminded them. Maybe all this was a fluke, but from the experience and ok-ish food, I'm likely not going back. I saw Atlanta Eats feature No Mas! Cantina, and they were spot on--this place is really good. The decor is beautiful and the atmosphere feels upscale but still comfortable. We ordered a variety of dishes, and everything delivered. The street tacos were excellent--both the steak and chicken were on point. The steak fajitas (fajita feast) were a big hit, especially with my son. The esquites (corn salad) was flavorful, and the tres leches cake was a perfect sweet finish. Service was outstanding. Shoutout to Trent for being attentive, professional, and keeping his composure even with some difficult customers--he did a great job. Parking is easy and convenient, which is always a plus in Atlanta. All in all, a great experience. I'd definitely recommend it--easy five stars. read more

We were a party of four, but Wifey and I arrived first before our daughters. We headed over to the bar for a quick one. The bartender handed us a couple menus and we reviewed the drink/beer options. They had a bunch of specialty margaritas but a short list of usual suspect beers. There were no local craft or out of the box choices. Wifey and I ordered a couple of Modelo's and waited for our daughters. They arrived shortly after and I asked if we could move the two beers to the table bill and they said they could not do that. I had to settle up the bill, while the family found a table on the covered patio. Of course, the bartender disappeared when I was trying to close the bar bill and I had to wave down a server to find him. He came by, closed out that bill and I headed outside to find the family. Our server, Mandie Sue, immediately came over to check on us. We informed her that we had been to No Mas before but it had been years. She updated us on all changes and some of her favorites. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Wifey and I were still sipping our Modelos from the bar so we didn't need anything to drink at the time. My youngest daughter ordered a Mango Margarita and my oldest kept it simple with a sweet tea. I added the Los Tres Amigos, an appetizer of queso, guacamole, and salsa. Important note about parking; they have a big lot with the usual scan and pay options. Don't pay as soon as you arrive because your server will provide a code that makes the first 2 hours free. We continued to review the menu and made our final entree decisions. I ordered the Camarones Brochette. Their bacon wrapped shrimp dish that comes with polenta. Wifey ordered the other shrimp dish Camarones Alambres. My oldest daughter ordered the Salmon del Diablo and my youngest ordered the Birria Tacos. As we were waiting and snacking on the appetizer, I was looking around and checking out the layout. It was just like I remembered. The restaurant is huge with all kinds of nooks and crannies. A huge 2 level interior dining room, huge covered patio and a back area that was a local "Artisan Market" but doubled as additional restaurant seating. That back area also had a cake display and a 2nd bar. Like I said the place is huge with plenty to explore and the colorful decorations definitely supported the authentic Mexican theme. The whole place was a little deserted while we were there but that was fine with us. We waited a few minutes and the food was already coming to the table and everything looked delicious. We all started digging in and there were zero complaints. My shrimp dish even had a spicy kick that I wasn't expecting. Just as we remembered, the food is always a highlight. One annoyance, which is the risk you take when you eat outside, there were a bunch of flies buzzing around our table. We finished up our entrees and a few of us had enough to take home. I asked about the dessert menu and Mandie Sue named a bunch of good ones. We only decided to order the Cuatro Leches Cake to go. We were a large party, seated in 2 separate booths so it wasn't a good set up for a group this size; especially considering the space this restaurant has. Most of the food was just ok. I made a reservation 20 minutes in advance. Figured since they had many times open at the time of my reservation there would be no problem. Imagine my surprise when we arrived and we were told our reservation (for which I received an email confirming the time) was "last minute" and couldn't be honored. Despite my offer to split my group of 5 into tables of 2 and 3- open table sizes that were plentiful, we were told no. We asked for the manager, who lied to us and told us she told the host that our group could be seated whole in 10 minutes. The host did not tell us that and I believe him. When we asked the manager about this directly, she offered us nothing but platitudes and weak, empty apologies. If you want to be lied to your face by management, come eat here. Absolutely Amazing place, the inside of this building is so beautiful, anything you see you can buy it's a rustic Mexican style acienda. They have a small store inside authentic Mexican things, silver jewerly and a lot more! The food was Delicious!! And the price was affordable for the amount of food in my dish, I grabbed the egg and chorizo tacos with black beans , they have a selection of fresh juices and PLEASE try the Olla Coffee we cannot stop talking about the taste! We ordered Birria Tacos which came with Black Beans and Rice and the Grilled Salmon and Mashed Potatoes. The food was delicious but it didn't arrive to our table hot. It was just warm. I had been wanting to try No Mas! for a while, but unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to the expectations--especially as a vegetarian. We went Sunday for our Anniversary outing. The restaurant was very busy, packed with graduation parties and groups, so clearly it has its fans. But for those of us who don't eat meat, the experience was a bit disappointing. The menu is not very vegetarian- or vegan-friendly, and our waitress wasn't very knowledgeable about dietary restrictions. She mentioned the rice is made with chicken stock and wasn't sure whether the beans had meat in them. I ended up ordering the veggie quesadilla appetizer as my dinner option, which was small and not very filling--especially for $15. One thing to note: unlike most Mexican restaurants, they don't offer complimentary chips and salsa. If you want them, you'll have to pay extra. That was unexpected and a bit of a letdown. Pricing overall felt steep --$25 for fajitas, $18 for a veggie burrito that may or may not actually be vegetarian depending on the stock used, and $15 for three small quesadillas. There is two-hour free parking, which is a plus, and the space itself is nice. However, the shop on-site was closed by the time we left around 5 p.m., so we didn't get to explore that part of the experience. In short, if you eat meat, this might be a fun and lively spot to check out. But as a vegetarian, I don't see myself returning. They were literally chips soaked in cheese sauce with a side plate of guac and Pico. I think i can make better nachos at home. I wanted the spinach enchiladas but they were out of spinach. We generally do not visit cantina type Mexican restaurants as we prefer small taquerias and home cooking etc. This place hit the spot though. Both of us enjoyed our meal. We had a great time. It's an Atlanta institution that's been open forever. I can't believe it took us this long to visit. They have two hour free parking in a designated lot. (Though our services does it was free parking-not sure which is accurate) I got a passion fruit marg on the rocks and it was very good. I'd love to know what tequila they use in their flavored house margs. I also got 3 tacos (chicken, steak, ground beef) loved the chicken and steak, the ground beef wasn't for me. Not sure what it was hi I put it down after a single bite and my husband ate it. I also got the tres leche (or Quattro leche) and it was a really good size. Larger tha. Most. So yummy. Well placed to see the runners at two separate mile markers, we parked here and enjoyed a great breakfast (and amazing coffees) while waiting for our runner to pass by. I have been to this establishment many times at various hours and with various group sizes. It is unfortunate that today I have to post this review. I was apart of a large party of 25 people. Our reservation was at 8:00pm, seated within 5 mins. I just want to emphasize that I say management was the issue. We had 1 waitress!!! We got our drinks at 8:35... however the waitress needed help. The manager did not assist until the person of the group went and spoke with her that she needed help. Finally was given 1 waiter who understood the situation. He moved with urgency. Upon us ordering it was all drink orders, then all app orders then entree. The waitress advise us that she was taken orders split and as long as no one moved it would be a smooth check-out. We all got our drinks, food although some came out before others. When it was time to check out this is where the headache came. The waitress did not print individual tickets as it was alluded too. The manager and waitress took about 5 mins to figure things out only for her to come back and asked who was on whose ticket. There was were also items that 2 people never received their apps. In previously working in food services there is a better way to ensure things run smoothly. There should be a guide on groups larger than 10 on how to order and how many waiters should ratio to guests. There also should be a better system for ticketing. It literally took 30 mins for tickets to be given and ensure correction. Let me say this when things were brought to the manager (I will leave the name out) attention immediately it was definitely not a customer service response more of employee assurance, even said she can handle it only to found out the same waitress had 2 more tables. Then about 10 mins later 1-2 people started helping with orders and passing out food. We were thankful for that because that got us out in 2 hours. The food had no complaints as various dishes were ordered. Want to mention the parking situation that I noticed a previously review. The parking sign needs to be more visible for the 2 FREE hours. It is not bold shiny or blinking, coming into the dim parking lot you cannot see that. There should be bright signs stating that dining at the restaurant parking is free get code from hosts. Let's start with the fact that they have parking in downtown ATL AND it's complimentary for the first two hours! That's unheard of and I loved it. Once you walk in, it's like you're taken to a different place altogether. The attention to detail and decoration of the restaurant was definitely noticed and appreciated. Our server, Lena was very warm and welcoming. She gave us great recommendations and made sure we were well taken care of. The drinks are strong. My mom and I came here on a weekday before a Hawks game and it wasn't busy at all. I got a mango margarita with tajin and it was good. We started off with chips and queso. This place is always a go to when I'm craving Mexican food. I brought my friend here for the first time and she loved it! There is complementary parking and plenty of seating. I had the trio combination and got a beef taco, a beef enchilada and a chicken enchilada with mole sauce and she had chicken and steak fajitas. We also each had the queso with beef that comes with salsa as well. From the parking, service, efficiency and quality of food/drinks this place is a 10/10. We dined at this restaurant while meeting some out-of-town friends who were staying in downtown Atlanta. Pleasantly surprised, they have two hour complementary parking in the lot behind the restaurant. The interior of the restaurant looks colorful and artistic with a slight day of the dead theme. They have a gift shop and café right next to the restaurant. Our server was friendly, and she took our beverage order quickly. She took a little too long to return to our table to take our food order. Nevertheless, we were amazed at how quickly the food was served after our order had been taken. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food. Being that we're all originally from California, we have a pretty good sense of what good Mexican food tastes like. They have a brunch menu on the weekends, and two of us ordered egg dishes. I enjoyed the breakfast quesadilla, and added chorizo, which apparently is made in house. It's in the downtown area, not too far from Mercedes-Benz Stadium, so if you're looking for some good Mexican food as well as free parking, then I would definitely recommend you try this restaurant.
