This is my all-time favorite store. The prices are VERY reasonable. I have seen the same brands such as Lush and Naked Zebra in Nordstrom for much higher prices. No Rest For Bridget allows me to keep up with the styles, without breaking my budget. They range in clothing including swimwear, casual, dressy, and everything in-between! Everything is very cute and classy. I love their purses and accessories! I find myself coming here on a weekly basis. I used to go to the Costa Mesa store since I live a mile away, but the one on the Peninsula is bigger and has more room to walk around in. read more

Cute affordable clothes! I love this place and usually go a couple times a month. They have new stuff every couple weeks. The only thing that sucks about this place is their return policy, I believe its 14 days and you only get store credit. That's fine if I'm shopping for myself but when buying a gift for someone else that would suck if they wanted to return it and you bought the gift in advance, at least make it 30 or 60 days. That would be more reasonable. They do get really original things but also have popular trendy clothes. Its kinda like a more sophisticated Forever 21 with a tad higher prices but better quality stuff. read more

I'm a bit surprised by some of the negative reviews. Lived in the area for 3 years and every single day that I did, I would get my morning coffee from the Starbucks next door. They always had the cutest clothes displayed and I would go in to browse every now and then. I was still in school and didn't have much to spend and always went towards the back for their sale items. I would only purchase items every couple of months and not once did I ever feel the employees were snotty or exercised unacceptable customer service. They were always pretty helpful. read more

This store has started to carry some higher-end, more expensive pieces. This can be a bit discouraging as I know me and all my friends have come to expect this place to be a great little boutique to come to and find something cute for cheap. I came in here trying to find a dress for New Years Eve, and while I found a lot of options, the one I liked the best was $83.99!! I found a couple other great alternates, only to be discouraged when I saw that they were $99 each... don't get me wrong, they still carry a lot of less expensive options-- I tried on some pants for $30 and another dress for $32, but ultimately I ended up buying a dress elsewhere because I wasn't planning on spending $85 on a dress-- if I was going to do that, I wouldn't have gone to No Rest for Bridget! Everything is organized by color in the store and while they don't have many accessories or shoes, their clothing selection is pretty diverse and not too "Newport." read more

NRFB Costa Mesa is the GOAT!! I've shopped here for the special women in my life numerous times and always have a great experience. They're always very kind when I walk in, they always greet me and some of them even know me by name now! Also, they have been very COVID compliant, which makes me feel safe when I come and shop. As a previous Orange County resident, I have my list of places I stop in each time I visit. One of the places that I always make a stop at is this little boutique (most recently 3 weeks ago). They have cute clothes at cheap prices - think Forever 21, but without the massive bulk production. The quality of the products hold up for the season. However, the staff in the store is often less than friendly. Getting a "Hello" when you walk in the door is like pulling teeth. I know that the OC often gets a bad rap for it's artificial/self consumed nature. Well, the service in this store is definitely not helping the reputation. Typically the cheap clothes & the weak service balance out, but I've also had stuff in hand that I'd planned to purchase and left due to the poor costumer service. read more

I saw the same person on the floor and they ignored me. Another person said they'd help me get another size while I was waiting in the fitting room n never came back... Logged on to Yelp to read other reviews of this stores and lo and behold everyone seems to agree with me re: the staff. If the sales women were not breathing on their own and standing upright, one would think they were brain dead, as that is how they seemed when I attempted to interact with them. I was very excited to enter this store, as my daughter's name is Bridget and she's 2 1/2...and well...I thought it was cute. But apparently the 2 sales women at the counter didn't get it...and didn't pretend do...and needless to say it was the beginning of the end for me. I have spent a lifetime in Customer Service and kissing people's butts whether I wanted to or not. Apparently these chicks haven't gotten the memo regarding THEY WORK IN STORE, and I AM CUSTOMER. Clothes are cute - if you are a slave to "what's hot" according to 21-somethings not that expensive. And they have tons of artsy perfumes, and books regarding Coco Chanel and Vogue - so they are trying really hard to be fashion-y. Pleather purses seemed overpriced. This store is close to the beach, the one on the Peninsula, and the jewelry seems likes it's tarnishing already from the salty air. Good luck, No Rest for Bridget. NRFB has easily become one of my favorite stores within the past year! I prefer online shopping since it's convenient, I'll get it in a few days and I can return at the store if needed, but one reason I prefer shopping online is that most of the time the girls at the store are so-so. Which is why I'm writing this review because I received help from Kim today and she was extremely helpful and kind. i work down the street from here, and occasionally check this store out. They always have a great selection of cute clothing. Whenever i find out i have some where to go i will always stop here on my way home whether its just a simple night out or an event i always find something for the occasion. They always have a wide selection of sizes too! The shoes are however a hit or miss, you have to get them as soon as they come in. The jewelry and belts are fun too! read more

This store is fun for the occasional run through, I can typically always find something and I love bringing friends from out of town here. That being said, I gave a 3-star rating because I don't want this to be a reflection of the whole store just the sales rep who helped me... I went in yesterday around 5:30 and was partially assisted by a disgruntled woman. I barely knew she worked there till I was overflowing with clothes and she finally offered to help. She then rang me up, along with my friend whom I was talking to in hopes of partaking in casual conversation together. As we left I proceeded to thank her very genuinely as to aid her already obviously sour mood to which she replied "Yea". It was then I accepted she was beyond any common courtesy I could extend. If I am in there again I will be sure to avoid her like the plague, her whole vibe was so off-putting. All info I have of her is on my receipt, Cashier #410. I've shopped at this location several times. They have a wide variety of casual and dressy clothing for women. Most of the clothes are reasonably priced, some items are overpriced in my opinion. Most of the clothes I've purchased have lasted a few years, since I've either dry cleaned or hand washed them. They also sell voluspa candles, jewelry, shoes and some under garments. By far my fav NRFB.........I usually shop at the Bella Terra store but happened upon the Costa Mesa one out on my weekend adventures. The girls are amazing and super helpful! The store is a bit smaller but the items are great, as always! I like this store more over Bella Terra solely due to the staff....Bella Terra staff can be a bit uninterested in the customers in the store, comes across as a bit lazy and for sure not wanting to make a sale. The girls at the Costa Mesa store were all bubbly and sweet and totally willing to help without being overwhelming......LOVE THEM!! As far as the quality of the clothes, its great!! Just be sure you DRY CLEAN the delicate fabrics, just like any delicate fabric you would get from any clothing store........beautiful things usually arent made for the washing machine ;0) read more

The cloths are cute and trendy but I think can be a bit over priced for the quality. It's the staff that makes me hate walking into that store. I live down the street and have been several times, and every time I get the same unfriendly service. Most of the time the employees just stare at you as you walk through the front door, and almost always they are huddled around the cash register either gossiping about each other or other customers (and not very quietly I might add). They just don't seem interested in helping and aren't very knowledgable about the items and brands they carry. As a person who works in the retail industry, I couldn't believe how cold and nonchalant they are towards shoppers. It's such a shame because the clothes and accessories are cute and the location is convenient, but I don't see myself returning. read more

They have several girls on the floor to help, prices are really, really reasonable and they have items well color coordinated and displayed. I stopped by here after eating at Omelette Parlor one day and found that it was pretty empty. There was only one other shopper and three sales girls standing near the cashier area. My friend and I wandered around for a few minutes and didn't find anything great. The quality seems pretty low, like forever 21 status and it's also pretty cheap I also was not impressed that not a single one of the salesgirls bothered to say hello, ask if we needed help or say goodbye. I typically do not write poor yelp reviews. In fact, this is probably my first ever to rate a business less than 3.5 stars. However, I have rarely ever paid for such poor quality clothing and received even worse service. The only reason that I gave this business 2 stars is because credit is due to their trendy and unique (yet not trashy) styles. I have purchased about 10 items from the new NRFB store on the peninsula. I have gotten 1 use from these items(at best) and even less than that for about 3 items that fell apart before even completing a single use including earings, headband, and blouse. Even more disappointing is their customer service. For my third item, I decided to finally address the issue nicely with the clerks informing them that my blouse literally was unwearable 15 minutes into the evening and appeared to have a defect in the material. The clerk then told me that the tags would have to be attached for me to receive any kind of exchange or credit. Rarely do people leave the house with their tags on their clothing(i would hope) and I chose not to re-attatch the tag and pretend like it was not worn but tell them what had really happened in hopes that they value their customers enough to provide some sort of compensation for this happening the THIRD time. She then said that they do not have this quality issue frequently and there was nothing she could do. However, they have a rack of damaged clothing (slightly discounted) and when sharing my experiences with my co-workers, two of them had similar issues with their purchases and decided to just not return. Beyond this, the clerk asked me to leave my number and said she would address this with the owner and call me...never happpened. One would think that a new business would be a little more savvy when dealing with their customers(especially being that I work next door). The next day, I went in seeing a new sweater I liked in the window. On the bottom, a snag...surprise surprise! I informed the clerk who rudely accepted the item without a word of thanks even. No rest for Bridgette is one of my favorite little boutiques in Costa Mesa but the customer service at this location is AWFUL! I went in on Saturday hoping to find something cute to wear to an event that evening. Right when I walked in I was never greeted nor did any sales rep come up and ask if I needed any help. I was walking around with a handful of things and never once was asked if I needed a dressing room. I had to approach them for a dressing room. The sales reps talked among each other the whole time. Truly disappointed and will not shop here anytime soon. read more

Giving a star only because I have to. Everytime I come into this store, the girls are rude and not helpful at all. I never get assistance from any of the staff, and they are quite snobby. The store in Huntington is a little bit better, as the girls are somewhat helpful, but overall poor experience with this company. I visited this boutique with my daughter close to closing time and we were reminded the second we stepped into the store that they were closing in ten minutes. The two girls working there were talking to each other about how they wanted to go home. Certainly not a friendly environment, and not one I felt comfortable in. I asked what time they closed during the week and one of the sale assistants replied by saying 'What?" Ok, so you apparently don't need my business! NRFB has great choices, however you can find the same product at Fringe at Fashion Island for almost half the price. I do have several thing from here that I have been complimented on but most of their clothing falls apart after 2-3 washes. The girls at the Newport store on the Peninsula are awful! I went in about a month after they opened and they asked me to leave because I had too much sand on me. Really? Your store is located at the beach. Customer service is definitely a problem that NRFB lacks. Their candles and jewelry are awesome. They make for great little gifts.
