Cool, unassuming bar in Culver City that is kinda by itself near neighborhoods so gives it a local watering-hole type of vibe. They have a some snacks and some collabs with local pop-ups such as Wepa (Puerto Rican food). Nice and friendly bartenders and is a good place to meet for a drink and chat. I enjoyed the Chai Old Fashioned which was a little on the sweeter side but full of flavor.

I was so excited to find a local joint to hit up for drinks on any moments notice. Owners and bartenders are friendly, informative, and efficient. They have unique drink options too like this Asian cocktail in a can featuring unique flavors, and their pickle beer which is my go to. Easy and laid back spot to go hang with friends, meet a local, or grab a first date drink.

no smoking's perfect, idk what else to say. drinks are amazing, music is on point, people are normal and nice, bartenders are attentive and cool, and both the inside and patio have the best chill but fun vibes

After an early dinner and bar hang in West Adams, I need somewhere chill with good music and drinks to wrap up my night. We gave this newish spot a try and it didn't disappoint. Throughout the night, other folks that I had seen on the West Adams strips trickled in as well, so apparently it's getting popular. The drinks were great, there was plenty of seating and space to dance, and ironically there was a large "smoking" patio in the back. The DJ was pretty good too, and took my music request -- are people still doing that these days? I did, lol. I'd definitely come back to my new local fav!

Came to checkout this new local bar at an unassuming location on La Cienega and was pleasantly surprised. Once you enter the establishment you'll notice it's a significantly larger space than you expect it to be with an outdoor patio area at the end, great to step away from the loud music inside. Dive bar vibes with a premade cocktails menu. I liked the Incredible Hulk Jr drink very smooth & the touch of basil leaf brought complimentary flavor to the drink. The chai old fashioned was a good old fashioned but there's nothing chai about it. Adding a toasted curry leaf on top doesn't make it a chai old fashioned. Don't get me wrong chewing into the toasted curry leaf while simultaneously taking a sip of the old fashioned was great flavor pairing overall but it just isn't true to its name. Per the ingredients there's chai masala & jaggery but you can barely taste the masala (aka spices). Drinks are solid, customer service was great & definitely planning to come back to try their pickle beer, cheers!

This spot is the former Mandrake bar... Went in on a Saturday evening around 1115 just to grab a quick drink after I had worked all day. First issue wasn't greeted very friendly by the bartender and when I asked for a drink menu, he pointed to a sign that I had to get up out of the barstool and go see they don't have out on both sides of the bar, Nor is it printed so that was not cool and he wasn't a very friendly person. And your bartender supposed to be the friendliest person...I'll let you know what's up...the girl in the cowboy hat she knew what was up. She was friendly. She made me a bomb drink and she had a personality. The other guy not so much sorry to keep on the bartenders, but like the bartenders, you are the gatekeepers of the world like you have to be Nice. You have to smile you have to greet your customers so anyways we had two drinks and then we left, but they were playing amazing music. I loved every song they were playing. Would I return? Absolutely. I know what to expect. So at the end of the day, it had cool vibes. Good music good drinks just not friendly Bartender .

Such a great dive bar. Went here after dinner and had the best time. Bartenders were great - Ben is amazing - and since I love my Toki highballs it's great to find a place that has it on tap! DJ, Photo Booth, nostalgia - what else could you ask for?!?

We spent new years here and were very grateful for the decorations we were given, along with the food; they didn't need to do that but it was a very sweet gesture the ownership made for their customers. We thoroughly enjoy coming here! FOOD - there aren't many options when it comes to food, but I appreciate that they have chips as an option bc who doesn't want that when having a drink or 5? SERVICE - it can be quite busy and hard to get your order met here. I would suggest ordering as soon as you arrive and maybe even doubling up. It will help you loosen up some. AMBIANCE - very chill and cool space. We spent me

Top notch par excellence. Drinks are poured by excellent bartenders, more sommelier level. Pop up kitchen in the back provides excellent small bites. Cocktails and conversations are always sublime. Great to be back!

Your neighborhood dive bar with great drinks and even better vibes. I live out in Pasadena, so I'm always on the hunt for good bars I can reach by train and bus. This place is a nice 15 min. walk from La Cienaga/ Jefferson for the E line. The staff and company make the trek worth it. Better put: If I know someone living in Culver City, I might not necessarily like them enough to drive all the way out from E. LA, but I'll definitely take the train to meet them here. They have a generous happy hour for beers and well spirits. Check out their instagram for info on times and days for music and food pop-up events.

It's dark but has warm lighting and really cool decor such as upside down stools and fireplaces on the ceiling. My bartenders Matt & Kelsey were super friendly & made some fire drinks. The menus are aesthetic to look at because drinks are categorized by type of liquor, each drink described in detail and each description is accompanied by a picture of what the drink is supposed to look like. However, there is no food menu just alcoholic drinks. I found parking across the street where the CVS & WholeFoods are located. I didn't have any issues, but I only parked there for about 2 hours. Right before I left, the bartenders helped me discover a secret entrance to the bar next door. When you walk in you'll notice a bookshelf, if you slide that bookshelf to the right, you'll open the entrance to the bar next door. Pretty cool! Will definitely come back again.

On multiple occasions, Elton has given me poor service and a noticeable attitude. I chose to overlook it at first, but eventually I brought it to management's attention because the treatment was consistent and unacceptable. After that complaint, the situation escalated. When I returned, Elton refused to serve me altogether. He would not look at me, acknowledge me, or take my order. I was left sitting there while being completely ignored. It became so obvious that other guests sitting next to me noticed and were concerned enough to step in and ask him why I wasn't being helped and to tell him to serve me. That should never have to happen. I then asked for the manager I had previously spoken to, Leo, because I wanted to understand what was going on. I still have not received any clear explanation. What's most concerning is that this behavior feels intentional. No employee in hospitality gets to decide who they will or will not serve based on personal feelings. If a staff member's feelings are "hurt" after a complaint, that does not justify refusing service to a guest. That is not professionalism--that is the opposite of hospitality. It was honestly disturbing enough that the people next to me told me directly that it didn't feel right and that I shouldn't come back because it seemed like I wasn't wanted there. That is not okay, especially at an establishment of this caliber. I am actively trying to get in touch with someone at the hotel who can properly address this situation, because this needs to be taken seriously. No guest should ever feel ignored, singled out, or unwelcome in this way.

I emailed the bar to make a reservation since the online system was down, and they emailed back immediately to confirm -- and even said they would surprise my mom with an extra birthday cake! Now all I had to do was wait 3 weeks until her visit so the experience could finally happen. The day arrived and I got my mom to Maybourne Bar with her none the wiser. From the moment we stepped through the door, the experience was a 1 million out of 10. Every course is unbelievable. This is a caviar tasting in the best way -- all nine courses are topped with generous helpings of delicious N25 caviar. You get sweet, salty, savory, comfort food, upscale dining, everything comes together in the absolute best way. I especially loved the deconstructed deviled egg and the lobster roll, and the ice cream was some of the best I've ever had. The chips and dip came with the cutest miniature potato chips (although I'll admit I could have used a few more), and the caviar salmon burger was super flavorful. And, true to their word, they surprised my mom with a birthday cake -- and then surprised us both with complimentary lychee cocktails! The service was impeccable as well. Each person on the waitstaff was kind, helpful, and accommodating. We loved how descriptive they were of each dish. It was also really nice of them to decide to give us an extra 2-top so we would have room for all of the courses. This is not only an incredible tasting menu, but made even more incredible by the price. 10 courses and a glass of champagne are $85. I was honestly shocked at how much we received for under $100. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. This is a true gem in Beverly Hills. I'm already planning my next visit!
