The annual release of Pliny the Younger.

Great bar in the middle of the Farmers Market featuring 24 craft beers/ciders/seltzers on tap, assorted beers in the can/bottle, and wine. The selections are continually updated, including on their website. They often have tap takeovers or brewery collaborations and the annual release of Pliny the Younger in February. This is a perfect spot to have a drink to pair with food from the nearby stalls or take a break from shopping at the Grove or Farmers Market. There's bar and communal seating area as well as plenty of adjacent tables. There's a TV above the bar, usually featuring sports. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive and there's a crowd of regulars here for good reason.

My girl and I came here and enjoyed our experience tonight. The bartender was very hospitable, we got the Cali squeeze and hard kombucha. Both were really good. Appreciate it!

We stoped by for a couple of quick cold beers to enjoy with our flight of pickles we got right next-door. This is such a cute little gem of a bar tucked right in the middle of the farmers market. Service was quick and the atmosphere was relaxed.

Cute little bar front right the heart and middle of the farmers market. Almost like a mini sports bar as they had baseball showing. There was a good amount of beer on tap, as well as wine and cider. Plenty to choose from. Also feels like a neighborhood local spot as everyone seems to know each other. A nice little spot to grab a pint after walking around. Plenty of parking and they validated if your parking in the farmers market section. There's a good amount of hi top seats but I believe you're allowed to take your drinks to the dining tables as well.

Such a quaint little outdoor bar at the farmers market Grove. We like to go to Kaylyn and Kaylan pickles and get a flight of pickles and bring it over here and enjoy a nice chilled beer while people watching. Service was quick and friendly.

I love this place! The beer list is always top tier and all California beers too. The prices aren't bad, the staff is awesome. I like that you can bring food here and eat and enjoy a cold beer. Check them out

nice beer bar smack dab in the middle of all the hubub of the farmer's market. service was surprisingly quick and beer options were varied and delicious. price points were very reasonable for a touristy area. will definitely stop by next time.

My friend said it's dog friendly and according to their Instagram they welcome dogs... but how does that work if the farmers market doesn't allow dogs?

The farmers market allows dogs however they have never updated their signage. The law changed just after they made the signs

The inside is cosy and casual, and it's a bit romantic. There's usually a nice buzz of people in the late afternoon. This intimate bar first opened in West Hollywood in 2013. The entrance is on the side of a beautiful historic Hollywood Spanish Gothic style building on Westbourne Drive, off Santa Monica Boulevard. You could almost miss it from the street as it's kind of hidden which is definitely part of its charm. About a century ago it was a studio for silent film star Charlie Chaplin and later a library for Sherman, which was the name of West Hollywood before it was incorporated. So this is a beautiful and historic location with a fascinating history, V Wine Room serves about 30 different wines by the glass and a large selection by the bottle, mostly small California wineries from the Napa Valley. The menu also features sparkling wines, natural wines and sakes from small Japanese producers. They have food to accompany the drinks as well: delicious Roman-style pizzas, cheese boards and charcuterie, fish and even chocolate. I've always managed to find free parking on side streets just up the street like on West Knoll for a couple hours, but there's also valet parking right in front and a city parking lot about a block west

I didn't make it here until March 2026 and after my first visit, I'm sorry I didn't come earlier. My husband and I came here on a Sunday night, with a last minute reservation I'd made on Resy. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we came in around 5:30ish. A lot of the tables were empty. They had both indoor and outdoor dining available, but the majority of the seats were indoor. The ambiance here is dark and chic, it reminded me very much of restaurants in NYC. It would make for a good spot for a date night or girls' night out. We made it here in time to order one thing from their happy hour menu, the tater tots. These were heavy but moreish, it was hard to stop eating them even when my stomach was telling me I was full. We also shared the corn, which I believe may have been a special/seasonal dish. It will go down as one of the best corn dishes I've ever eaten in a restaurant. My husband got the burger for his main and I got the mussels. The mussels were pretty fresh and silky, and were overall excellent, but I didn't love the broth they came in. My husband's burger was fantastic. It's one of the best burgers I've eaten at a restaurant in LA. Service was lovely and efficient. I'm looking forward to dining here again, and would highly recommend trying it.

We stopped by on a Monday around 8pm and it was surprisingly quiet at first, but before long people started walking in for Trivia Night and the atmosphere became much livelier. I ordered an Angry Orchard Cider and my friend ordered one of their Espress-OR Martinis. It looked great but it was strong! There are metered spaces behind the bar and there is also residential street parking nearby if you pay attention to the posted signs. My husband has type 1 diabetes so we very rarely eat at Italian ristorantes. Chef Tara has helped us rediscover a new world of flavor without negative impacts on my husband's blood sugar and cholesterol. (Thanks for the variety of non-dairy cheeses!!) Tip for first-timers: go when you can have the brunch or the lunch menu. Then you'll have so many options that you'll have to return! Round 1 Polpettine (meatballs) are made from lentils and texture similar to the real ones; lovely marinara sauce and ground macadamia nut instead of parmesan. Complement this with the citrus notes that highlight the sauteed swiss chard with earthy Italian butter / gigante beans. Round 2 The same beans are in the Greek goddess salad: rich with tomatoes, kalamata olives, and fresh red onions. This was a visually stunning and paired well with the Sicilian almond 'tuna' melt. The tuna is by far the most imaginative. Again, Chef Tara and the back of the house nailed the texture and I loved the hints of crunchy celery. The capers injected tiny bursts of salt and tartness. The only moderation I'd consider is slightly crisping / toasting the sandwich bread -- but the tuna melt sando is great as it is. Food was overall great. We ordered the Brussel sprouts, wagyu skewers, burrata, and spicy tuna crispy rice for our appetizers. For our entree, we shared the lemon pasta and branzino. We finished off with the Mandarin Tart. Of the appetizers, the Brussel sprouts seemed the most unique and flavorful. They're tossed in a kimchi sauce, so it has a nice mild spice. The wagyu unfortunately had an unpleasant meat smell (maybe not super fresh), and the spicy tuna crispy rice was nothing special - good but only worth ordering if you're really craving it. Our server told us the lemon pasta was very "lemon-forward," but it was not as tangy as I anticipated. If you're on the fence, staff will recommend dishes that pair well with the lemon pasta! We enjoyed it with our branzino because this palate was much more simple. For special events and celebrations, Ysabel will give you an enjoyable experience.
