So the staff did seem to be working hard. Can come off as dismissive and very curt but it was my first time and I definitely took my time to order but they seemed to be ok with it. I apologized for taking so long and they understood. They got my order correct and my bagel was very goood! I loved the spread on there I wish they were a bit more generous with the ratio of spread to bagel. But overall the service was quick and correct. It seemed like your any standard bagel shop. I feel like presentation was decent and it serves it's purpose of being NY style of being minimal which many Californians may not appreciate but I would def come back again! read more

I love this place and the food is amazing, but when I came today to grab food, one of the workers was not friendly. I don't know if she was having a bad day or just wanted to leave, but a smile would have been nice. I know how hard working in customer service is, so I get it, but I just felt very awkward. We did walk in towards their closing time, so I get that that might've caused annoyance, but I would've rather been told that they cannot take more orders, rather than face such passive aggressive energy. Yay! They've extended their hours and now close at 5pm most days instead of 4pm! I adore their Nova Lox Sandwich with cream cheese, Lox, tomato, cucumber, red onion and capers, $8.25. They also have a great Jalapeño cheese bagel! The vanilla hazelnut coffee, called Chelsea, is delish and at around $2.00 is a deal! If you join their Club- you'll get pints on purchases and offers. On each receipt is an opportunity to fill out an online survey and you'll get a code for 3 free bagels worth about $4.50! On the downside, I'm probably here about once a month and there always seem to be service problems. This past weekend, I counted 7 employees and still had to wait a few minutes to have one take my order. The young African-American gentleman who assisted me deserves note - he seemed to be the only one working hard! In the course of my visit he took orders, took care of trash, hauled it outside and later replaced the large container of coffee. Working hard! The Chelsea coffee is a vanilla hazelnut blend that is probably their most popular and yet it was empty for over an hour on a busy Sunday around 12 noon. The trash bins were overflowing for awhile before dealt with as well. While I do love their bagel sandwiches (5 stars) - they need to get their unfortunate service /cleanliness act together (-2 stars). read more

Pick my Mother up and decided to go to the Burbank Noah's. The one I used to regular at was the Marina Del Rey location; which I loved. This location especially on Saturday is a complete chaotic mad house. If you want Noah's on a Saturday make sure you do an order pick up or you will be waiting up to 30 minutes for food. This location has no rhythm or rhyme. You pick your food up where it says pick up/delivery pick up. No one is watching it so anyone could just come in and snag. The system here could definitely be updated. I was waiting for my food near the exit door like most people and everyone who came in was like is this the line? Again, a different system could be used to make it more efficient for everyone. I ordered a hot pastrami on an everything bagel. Comes with mustard, Swiss, red onions, and pickles. My Mom ordered a ham, Swiss and egg on an everything bagel. Finally got our food after 30 minutes and sat outside in a patio area my mom held for us. We opened the sandwiches and I was shocked. Mind you I have been to many locations mainly Marina Del Rey, and I couldn't believe how chintzy they were. My mothers had two deli thin pieces of ham (I mean thin),and a thin piece of egg. Mine was same. More pickles than meat for mine. I know darn well they put more than that. I was tempted to take them back, but waiting for 30 minutes I was famished. Service was fine, but they were truly to busy to really engage. The place itself was clean. I gave a 3 star because I think the sandwiches lacked due to the staff being too busy,and they just were rushing. The system they have is chaotic and could maybe be revamped. The fresh bagels are good. The level of service and food handling just ruins everything. When you order a cinnamon bagel, it really shouldn't be covered in crispy burned bits from an everything bagel. The strawberry bagels always taste like onion. Just a total turn off. Haven't had a small order since I've been here and always ordering a large meal for my company, but they've always found a way to make it work. Sandwiches are stacked and the flavor is there. "Stop eating toast, Jimmy brought bagels!", echoed through the house. I surprised my wife and friends when I went out for a walk and brought home bagel sandwiches. Bought a variety and quarter them up so everyone can try a little bit of each. They're all very good. Everyone loved them. My kudos to the young lady at the cash register. She was very thorough when taking my order. She made sure my order was correct and complete. I have been a costumer for a while and finally wanted to post about the clean and consistent costumer service I have received. My food is always great and ready to go when I arrive or order through an app. I recently placed an order for work and was helped by Marvin who was such a delight. Not only was he very attentive from the beginning, but he walked me through my order and checked in on me as they finalized it. Once I picked up my food and coffee, I saw him jump back into action to help the next customer. The personalized attention he gives every customer is amazing and certainly worth recognizing since he goes above and beyond. Despite it being busy, you're greeted and feel welcomed. This adorable Noah's Bagels with indoor and outdoor seating is located in the heart of downtown Burbank on San Fernando Road. There is free street parking right out front and free city lots close by. I visited on an early Tuesday morning to pick up a few dozen bagels and schmear to take to work. Street parking was easy. The store was not busy. The vibe was social and relaxed. My wait was about 5 minutes. The menu was located above the counter. The counter glass display housed several delicious and fresh bagels in numerous flavors (cheese, cinnamon sugar, wheat, sourdough, chocolate chip, jalapeño, plain, blueberry, fresh toast, etc.). Specialty bagels were also available for an additional cost. The refrigerator held a good selection of schmears (strawberry, plain, garden vegetable, jalapeño salsa, honey and almond, garlic and herb, smoked salmon, and onion and chive). Some schmears came in regular and reduced fat. Other menu items included eggs, fish and favorites, beverages, and deli sandwiches. My bagels were fresh and delicious. The schmears were flavorful and lite. Everyone at the office was happy. Prices were reasonable. Service at the counter was outstanding! The lady who helped me was patient, friendly, and helpful. Sadly, poor service from the crew working the kitchen. I had ordered a coffee and plain bagel dog. The cashier mentioned having to check if they had any bagel dogs. Assuming they did because she proceeded to charge it in my order. My coffee was given quickly. However the bagel dog. I waited 20 minutes before asking about my order. I see all other customers getting their order. Once I go ask the first person she went and checked then walked away ignoring the fact I had asked her about my order. Then i got eye contact with another lady saying oh you want the asiago dog (barely about to make it) I said no because that wasn't what I had ordered. Then she starts murmuring to her coworkers again ignoring me and telling me directly the issue. I understand Spanish so I know they said my order had burned and then that they no longer had plain bagel dogs. Like why couldn't they have addressed me before. I wouldn't have been upset if they would have came forward but I had to go asking. Not even an apology. I had to mention to the man giving me my refund that I had waited 20 minutes and no one thought of telling me. Then he apologized and offered another item. This morning (like I have done previously when I am running late for work) I ordered my usual Garden Avocado Bagel Sandwich and coffee on the app. When I get to the store, I don't see it on the counter so I figure they are probably not done prepping my order yet. One of the employees behind the counter proceeds to place 2 online orders on the counter and neither are mine. A 3rd one goes on the counter...still not mine. At this point over a half and hour had passed since I originally placed the order. Another employee asks what I ordered and I showed her the mobile app confirmation and gave her my name. She goes to check and comes back to tell me they are going to make it right now because apparently someone else took it. WTF??? This is what happens when you just leave to go orders on the counter where anyone could just walk off with them. WHY ARE YOU DOING THAT??? So effing lazy of the employees not to mention stupid. Can they so not be bothered to give those of us that ordered ahead our stuff? Despite it being part of their job??? On top of this they all have horrible customer service skills. When my sandwich was finally ready, a 3rd employee just tossed it at me and muttered the most insincere "sorry about that" I have ever heard! You are NOT sorry at all! Noah's bagels are always fresh and delicious. Love coming here Saturday mornings with my son. I almost always order the Lox Bagel Sandwich on Sesame Bagel It's so delicious and flavorful. Variety of bagels and flavored cream cheese available. Parking on the street is hard to fine but there is a free parking garage on Palm St. A 5 minute walk. The reason for the 4 stars is because of the customer service. The employee are somewhat rude and don't care to provide good service. They just take your order and that's it. Let's start with I'm an idiot. I spent roughly $15 on a nova lox bagel sandwich. It's a little pricier since I paid $5 extra dollars for two extra slices of salmon. I asked for no capers and no cucumber. After waiting 15 minutes they finally start on mine. And I see her get one baggie oof salmon which is one serving. She then proceeds to complete the sandwich with no shmear. When she called out to me I asked why no shmear. She said you didn't ask for it. Ummmm it's on the menu. Then I asked did I get my extra salmon? And she said yes and I said are you sure I think you only gave me one serving. She's like yes there are two you paid extra two more slices. Look at the picture and tell me if that even looks like a regular serving plus another slice it's pretty minimal. Unfortunately the service wasn't that great either. Or else I would've given another star. The girl who was making my sandwich and making all the other sandwiches favored the customer before me. In the 90's, Noah's Bagels were everywhere. Now there's only 2 locations, one in Culver City, and Burbank. I always get the same thing: Chocolate Chip bagel with strawberry creamcheese. I've had this type of bagel at Einstein Bros Bagels in Pasadena, and it wasn't as good. I'm just hoping this place survives the Coronavirus. Outstanding customer service! I order from the Burbank location once a week for work. I have never had better service. On doordash, I am unable to make special requests. So, I call in after I place an order to make a dietary request. They remember each time! And one time, when a driver missed part of my order, which is fine, it happens. They treated us with a handwritten note and a few extra tasty goodies to make up for it. I wasn't even expecting anything, as it wasn't their fault. The different locations are always consistent every time I've gone in for a bagel. I had Jalapenos/Cheese bagel with Salmon spread. So good! I order this to go and enjoyed it across the street with my starbucks coffee lol. The staff were super busy but managed to get everyone's order in and got them out as quickly as possible. I walk in. Wasn't greeted. No one in there knew where to wait to order. After I did order, I had to wait 30 minutes for just 3 bagels! Most people that came in with phone orders either had to still wait for a long time or were missing part of their order. Worst part of all is the bagels are horrible.
