Third time dining here, this time it was not so pleasant. Pasta plate was disappointing with too much olive oil, 3 shrimps & little portion of angel hair pasta. Our server was nice though, we've enjoyed the drinks. Place was noisy too; loud music in the air, next table was too close so we could hear their conversation, instead of ours. Came here for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised. I love the Tuscan decor here, it gives a place a very cozy vibe. There's lots of patio seating, making this place dog, friendly as well. There's parking out front but you do now have to pay, you can do it online and it's about $3.50 for 2 hours. I got the salmon fillet. It comes with cream corn, on a bed of mashed potatoes. I absolutely loved this! The salmon was cooked was cooked perfectly, nice and juicy and so tender. It was also perfectly seasoned with the lemon butter. The service was also great as well. Our waitress recommended a couple drinks and I decided to try the blackberry basil bramble. It was super refreshing and pretty strong! Heard so many good things about Granville so I was excited to try it out for myself last week for a family dinner. First, it was a perfect relaxed but upscale environment for a family dinner. There is a (free!) nearby parking garage. The drinks were fantastic. We tried the Negroni, Bees Knees cocktail, and the espresso martini. All were 10/10. The food menu is diverse so there is an option for everyone. Some of the dishes we tried included the Thai ginger salad, chicken plate, and steak plate. All were incredible. The main thing that stood out to me across both the drinks and the food was how fresh it was. After dinner we walked around the nearby shops as it is located right in the heart of downtown Burbank. I have been to Granville for dinner and drinks several times. I went there recently for brunch and I was surprised at how good the brunch experience was. I can say everything was perfect. I ordered the Breakfast Village. It was fulfilling, it came with bread, sausage, chicken, butter and raspberry jam. It was so yummy and I couldn't finish it all. Coffee was freshly brewed and good. Our server was refilling the coffee and making sure our mugs were full. For service, I would say our server went above and beyond in providing customer service. She kept checking on us and making sure everything was perfect. This restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating area. This time I preferred to sit outside and dine since weather was nice. For parking, there is both street parking and public parking. Also, it is located within walking distance of the Burbank mall, there is plenty of parking available. read more

The decor is lovely. The wait staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The pork chop was flavorful, although it was a bit dry in the middle. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the creamed corn and mashed potatoes were good. I do wish the temperature had been hotter. It was pretty cool when it arrived at the table. They have a weekend brunch with lots of delicious cocktails. Everything we ate was delicious and staff was friendly. Service was prompt. It's a pretty big restaurant and I made reservations on Open Table so we were seated right away when at least 1/2 our party arrived. On this latest visit we got the spicy chicken plate and the spicy pasta as our lunch mains. Both were excellent, just enough spice to make you sweat and not completely ruin your taste buds. The pasta was very flavorful and had a good mix of ingredients thst made each bite taste complex with flavors. Our starter items were a beet salad which was good, a little gem Caesar, also good and my favorite item from the meal, the brussel sprouts. They are quite simply the best brussel sprouts ever. For me this is a must item. We also got dessert which was a cherry almond chip Gelato and a flour less chocolate cake. Good separate, excellent when paired together. Portions were excellent. We even had food to take home. Price: 5/5 - price has always been reasonable and a decent value. But with DineLA it was an excellent value. 3 appetizers, 2 mains, 2 desserts 2 sodas and 1 alcoholic drink for $85 before tip. Keep in mind these were prefix menu for DineLA. However their prices have always been reasonable. The same items on their regular menu would be larger and you'd likely have more food to take home. Service: 5/5 - we made reservations so getting a table wasn't a problem, as they are typically busy, especially on weekends. Host was friendly and got us seated quickly. Our server was excellent, she was prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. You really couldn't ask for more in terms of service. Ambiance: 4/5 - decent vibes, busy not excessively loud. I've been to this Granville I think three times now and have been satisfied every time. Every dish tastes like quality and it's not too expensive. Very laid back atmosphere. This last time I went for DineLA. It's a pretty good deal, it's basically getting a free appetizer and dessert. We ordered brussels sprouts which is always good (not the crispiest but the sauce is flavorful), I got the poblano quinoa with a side of salmon, which was tasty but not my thing texture-wise, and my husband got a chicken club that he said was really good. The protein you have to add on the side for DineLA. My favorite thing were the grilled mushrooms!!! Perfectly grilled and seasoned, wow! I think the only thing I didn't really like was my Ginny Hendricks drink. It was really thick and syrupy, not very pleasant. Plus there was a bitter aftertaste because of the jalapeno. Great place for any occasion. It's not too formal but not too casual, it's just right. Illyana took good care of us. She was friendly and very attentive. I had a glass of wine with the ahi filet. Granville has been a favorite for many years now but recently, after years of do so, they stopped doing a modification to a salad that my wife really loved. Now she is never interested in going which bums me out because I have a couple of dishes there that I like. Last night, I talked her into going and she reluctantly found something, which was fine. My trout wasn't as good as usual, but I will take it as an aberration rather than the new normal. Service, from Bri, was excellent. We sat on patio and had to deal with a transient who was intent on bothering those on the patio with annoying questions and was asked to leave by diners at the nearest table. It was pretty empty when we arrived for lunch however, the server was friendly albeit rushed. My husband got the spicy chicken and I got the trio of lettuce tacos with chicken. We also ordered the sweet potato fries. The meal was really pricey for food the taste. $22 for three pieces of lettuce and a little chicken with vegetables is not worth it. I would've actually been OK with it all had it not been for the drink. I ordered the velvet mocktail and was extremely disappointed when i received 2 ounces of drink with a large ice cube. With the really big ice cube and the glass not even halfway with the drink, it was definitely a rip off. It didnt taste as described either.. extremely disappointing for a $12 drink. I came here for happy hour today with a friend after seeing a movie down the street at the AMC 16. I love how it's conveniently located and easy to find! There's an outdoor patio as well as comfortable seating inside and at the bar. I ordered the ginger julep as my drink and my friend ordered the gran fashioned. I tried her drink but found it too strong for my liking, as I prefer my drinks to have more sweetness. The ginger julep was perfect as it was well balanced and I loved the ginger kick. It had just the right amount of sweetness without feeling sickeningly so and was strong enough to feel a buzz after drinking it. For food, we went with the sweet potato fries and the lettuce cups, both ordered to be vegan. I loved the texture of the sweet potato fries and the dips were rich and creamy and complimented them well. I really loved the crunch of the lettuce wraps and the veggies and fruit inside were fresh and crispy. The Asian dressing that accompanied it gave it a nice tanginess. I am so appreciative of the vegan options on the menu as there were a few other items I would love to try! The service was friendly but slow. It took way too long for our food to come out and people who ordered after us got their food before us. Since our food orders weren't complex, it didn't make much sense to us. We came to Granville to celebrate a birthday. It is located in downtown Burbank and there's parking directly up front and free parking garages. The ambiance and aesthetics at Granville is my fave - I love that it's casual but has a romantic edge to it. I also appreciate that there's booth and table seatings. Was in the area with few friends and we decided on this restaurant. This place is adorable. The ambience is inviting. European chill vibes and friendly staff. They seated us in the front, which is considered outdoor dining. Then, it started with the hummus and bread. It was really good. Then, came the drinks. They were very cute and very good. Solid food with good vibes. Located in a very walkable street with lots other restaurants and stores nearby. I appreciate the interior design and the patio seating. I've been here a few times and I like how there's usually no wait for walk ins. My friends and I strolled in for lunch and shared the chilaquiles, wagyu tacos, and shakshuka. My favorite was the wagyu tacos-- very tasty with the consommé and squeeze of lime and I like the addition of the circular egg. Shakshuka was great as well, no complaints. Gave Granville another try and they charged me for sides of lemon aioli that they never put in the bag. Also as a side note... when you order their ridiculously expensive sweet potato appetizer, their idea of "dipping sauces" is watery ranch and ketchup. The portions were amazing, food was amazing, prices were amazing. My friend ordered the Spring chicken salad and loved it as well. The reason for the 4 star review instead of 5 stars was the extremely slow service, we were essentially forgotten about for well around 45 minutes after we finished eating and I had a almost stand up to flag our server down. Service in between eating was alright, nothing phenomenal but nothing to complain about. I will still be back, but hopefully will have a faster exit process next time. On a beautiful memorial day, I came in here with no expectation other than a chance to fill my belly. This place doesn't just create food, but it's art too.The bread and butter we ordered came with some exceedingly delicious sourdough and a lovely duck fat butter which was as light as it was luxurious. I also had the Wagyu steak sandwich which came with house chips, and the sandwich was wonderfully balanced between perfectly cooked caramelized onions and a horseradish aioli that had me impressed with how well it paired with the rest of my food. The dessert we had was the 'Lickety Split' and to my continued joy, it was well balanced and pleasant way to round off our meal. My first time trying Granville, and they left a great first impression! I ordered the lunch poke bowl. It's definitely different than any other poke bowl I've had, but it was delicious! Light, refreshing, and delicious! And I still left full. It's not cheap, but you come here knowing the food is better quality and expect to pay a little more. For the poke bowl, it came out to around $20 after tax. My only critique on the bowl would be that it was a bit light on the tuna, and the tuna and avocado weren't cut very well(huge chunks). But other than that, it was really good and unexpected! I'd get it again. I enjoyed their outside seating area. And my waitress, Lisa, was really friendly and attentive. Their outside patio is dog friendly and they even have a cute handout with doggy rules. I've had the Bacon & Blue Burger and Granville Skirt Steak here.
