What a fun restaurant whether you're with friends or on date night! The ambiance is casual yet cozy, even if you're sitting outside on their patio. You can't beat the food. There are many selections no matter what you're in the mood for. We got the Spring Chicken Salad and Rainbow Trout. I've had the Rainbow Trout before at their Pasadena location so I knew I was in for a treat. As expected, it was so flavorful and cooked to perfection! For drinks we had a Cosmo and a lager. It been a while since I came to Granville but since my wife family wanted to grab dinner here over the weekend, we came. They didn't make reservations for a party size of 5 adults and 1 baby so we had to wait. The wait was around 30 minutes so we waited outside in the hot and humid weather. When we got seated, they put us at a table for 4 adults but luckily I didn't mind holding my daughter. She was very fussy inside so I took her out a couple of time while my wife family order and eat. My wife got her salmon and I got the turkey sandwich. My wife loved her salmon and the side it came with. She would order that again. I didn't really enjoy my turkey sandwich. Granville is a great spot for lunch with friends or family. I have been here a few times for lunch. The place can get a little loud. Meals are around $20-$30 each. The 1/2 sandwich combo is a great deal. Mix and match a sandwich with fries, soup or salad. The skirk steak is very tender even when cooked medium well. The 1/2 chicken plate will allow leftovers. Service is okay. Not too pushy. They refill drinks and check on you once or twice. No bread for the table. Remember Burbank charges for street parking. Its free if you park in the lot. read more

The cutest street, the most welcoming restaurant, and food that is impossible to forget about. We stopped at Granville after taking two friends visiting from Canada and Australia through Burbank. They had to see what we consider movie land versus Hollywood, of course. Granville came recommended for their gluten free offerings and that proved to be completely true. We arrived to a full patio on a weekday, with a mixture of smart dressed likely business individuals and more casual locals, but the staff worked out how to make a smaller table fit 4 of us so we could enjoy the sun too. We ordered a round of amazing drinks and met our waitress, who was just as kind as she was knowledgeable. She talked with us casually, which I love, gave us great recommendations, and knew the gluten free offerings forwards and backwards. Not only did she know the menu, she came out with everything we requested in one go, which seems rare anymore in serving. The food here is amazing. It's local, quality, and even with a gluten free bun, moist and flavorful. None of us could shut up about this place and honestly, I'm surprised I'd never been before. Came here for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised. I love the Tuscan decor here, it gives a place a very cozy vibe. There's lots of patio seating, making this place dog, friendly as well. There's parking out front but you do now have to pay, you can do it online and it's about $3.50 for 2 hours. I got the salmon fillet. It comes with cream corn, on a bed of mashed potatoes. I absolutely loved this! The salmon was cooked was cooked perfectly, nice and juicy and so tender. It was also perfectly seasoned with the lemon butter. The service was also great as well. Our waitress recommended a couple drinks and I decided to try the blackberry basil bramble. It was super refreshing and pretty strong! A decent variety of food options, I chose the stew sandwich and my husband the chipotle chicken sandwich (not pictured). I liked my husband's sandwich better than mine, but mine was still good. It was a little dry, could've used mayo, but it was still good. It was busy. Our waitress was attentive and nice. Our appetizer (house made bread with duck fat butter) arrived at the same time as our entree. The inside was spacious, plenty of seating inside and outside, it was clean, and staff was quick to clean a table once it was cleared. What could've used some attention was their women's restroom. Only 2 stalls for the women's restroom, the floor was messy and all trash cans were full. There's a few locations. I went to the one in the Burbank area. read more

I have been to Granville for dinner and drinks several times. I went there recently for brunch and I was surprised at how good the brunch experience was. I can say everything was perfect. I ordered the Breakfast Village. It was fulfilling, it came with bread, sausage, chicken, butter and raspberry jam. It was so yummy and I couldn't finish it all. Coffee was freshly brewed and good. Our server was refilling the coffee and making sure our mugs were full. For service, I would say our server went above and beyond in providing customer service. She kept checking on us and making sure everything was perfect. This restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating area. This time I preferred to sit outside and dine since weather was nice. For parking, there is both street parking and public parking. Also, it is located within walking distance of the Burbank mall, there is plenty of parking available. read more

Four years ago I left a review that is no longer correct for Granville. It was left at a time when they were coming out of COVID and things just weren't right at the time. Music level, lighting, attentiveness... nothing. Was anything right during COVID? I was horrified to find out that my review was still up because it's no longer true. We have been to Granville many times in the past couple years and haven't had bad service or a bad meal yet. The wait staff is pleasant and professional and we really do enjoy the food. My partner especially enjoys the Wagyu Beef Stroganoff. I enjoy the Bacon and Bleu Burger, as well as the spring salad with chicken. The Santa Barbara Chicken Sandwich is also very good. So many good options. And yes, the wait staff is wonderful! read more

On this latest visit we got the spicy chicken plate and the spicy pasta as our lunch mains. Both were excellent, just enough spice to make you sweat and not completely ruin your taste buds. The pasta was very flavorful and had a good mix of ingredients thst made each bite taste complex with flavors. Our starter items were a beet salad which was good, a little gem Caesar, also good and my favorite item from the meal, the brussel sprouts. They are quite simply the best brussel sprouts ever. For me this is a must item. We also got dessert which was a cherry almond chip Gelato and a flour less chocolate cake. Good separate, excellent when paired together. Portions were excellent. We even had food to take home. Price: 5/5 - price has always been reasonable and a decent value. But with DineLA it was an excellent value. 3 appetizers, 2 mains, 2 desserts 2 sodas and 1 alcoholic drink for $85 before tip. Keep in mind these were prefix menu for DineLA. However their prices have always been reasonable. The same items on their regular menu would be larger and you'd likely have more food to take home. Service: 5/5 - we made reservations so getting a table wasn't a problem, as they are typically busy, especially on weekends. Host was friendly and got us seated quickly. Our server was excellent, she was prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. You really couldn't ask for more in terms of service. Ambiance: 4/5 - decent vibes, busy not excessively loud. Decor and seating arrangements are modern, and doesn't feel of really crowded even when the place is full. I've been to this Granville I think three times now and have been satisfied every time. Every dish tastes like quality and it's not too expensive. Very laid back atmosphere. This last time I went for DineLA. It's a pretty good deal, it's basically getting a free appetizer and dessert. We ordered brussels sprouts which is always good (not the crispiest but the sauce is flavorful), I got the poblano quinoa with a side of salmon, which was tasty but not my thing texture-wise, and my husband got a chicken club that he said was really good. The protein you have to add on the side for DineLA. My favorite thing were the grilled mushrooms!!! Perfectly grilled and seasoned, wow! I think the only thing I didn't really like was my Ginny Hendricks drink. It was really thick and syrupy, not very pleasant. Plus there was a bitter aftertaste because of the jalapeno. The brisket sandwich while being tasty was not as good a value for the price. Heard so many good things about Granville so I was excited to try it out for myself last week for a family dinner. First, it was a perfect relaxed but upscale environment for a family dinner. There is a (free!) nearby parking garage. The drinks were fantastic. We tried the Negroni, Bees Knees cocktail, and the espresso martini. All were 10/10. The food menu is diverse so there is an option for everyone. Some of the dishes we tried included the Thai ginger salad, chicken plate, and steak plate. All were incredible. The main thing that stood out to me across both the drinks and the food was how fresh it was. After dinner we walked around the nearby shops as it is located right in the heart of downtown Burbank. I came here for happy hour today with a friend after seeing a movie down the street at the AMC 16. I love how it's conveniently located and easy to find! There's an outdoor patio as well as comfortable seating inside and at the bar. Since we were doing happy hour, the requirement was to be at the bar, which thankfully included the high tops next to the bar. I ordered the ginger julep as my drink and my friend ordered the gran fashioned. I tried her drink but found it too strong for my liking, as I prefer my drinks to have more sweetness. The ginger julep was perfect as it was well balanced and I loved the ginger kick. It had just the right amount of sweetness without feeling sickeningly so and was strong enough to feel a buzz after drinking it. For food, we went with the sweet potato fries and the lettuce cups, both ordered to be vegan. I loved the texture of the sweet potato fries and the dips were rich and creamy and complimented them well. I really loved the crunch of the lettuce wraps and the veggies and fruit inside were fresh and crispy. The Asian dressing that accompanied it gave it a nice tanginess. I am so appreciative of the vegan options on the menu as there were a few other items I would love to try! The service was friendly but slow. It took way too long for our food to come out and people who ordered after us got their food before us. Since our food orders weren't complex, it didn't make much sense to us. Nevertheless, we still thoroughly enjoyed everything and the seating was cozy and comfy. The restaurant has a darker aesthetic which I really liked. We came to Granville to celebrate a birthday. It is located in downtown Burbank and there's parking directly up front and free parking garages. The ambiance and aesthetics at Granville is my fave - I love that it's casual but has a romantic edge to it. I also appreciate that there's booth and table seatings. Photos from the establishment itself don't seem to truly reflect the restaurant. It does not look as lively or beautiful as the photos unfortunately. However, it is ok and not bad. It was pretty empty when we arrived for lunch however, the server was friendly albeit rushed. Unfortunately, I did have to give it two stars overall because the food and drink experience vs value missed the mark. My husband got the spicy chicken and I got the trio of lettuce tacos with chicken. We also ordered the sweet potato fries. The meal was really pricey for food the taste. $22 for three pieces of lettuce and a little chicken with vegetables is not worth it. I would've actually been OK with it all had it not been for the drink. I ordered the velvet mocktail and was extremely disappointed when i received 2 ounces of drink with a large ice cube. With the really big ice cube and the glass not even halfway with the drink, it was definitely a rip off. It didnt taste as described either.. extremely disappointing for a $12 drink. Granville has been a favorite for many years now but recently, after years of do so, they stopped doing a modification to a salad that my wife really loved. Now she is never interested in going which bums me out because I have a couple of dishes there that I like. Last night, I talked her into going and she reluctantly found something, which was fine. My trout wasn't as good as usual, but I will take it as an aberration rather than the new normal. Service, from Bri, was excellent. We sat on patio and had to deal with a transient who was intent on bothering those on the patio with annoying questions and was asked to leave by diners at the nearest table. Nobody at the restaurant noticed or did anything about it. While it's a place I'd still recommend, it still is disappointing that things have changed. read more

The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is great, and all the food is delicious, so we often go there for family brunches or dinners.
