Estimate was low until the movers came to our house the day of the move Prices went up, contract was breached The worst part is my 64 year old husband was exported to pay a $200 tip per moving petson. $400 for two guys. The lead mover threatened my husband to give this tip. Or he would charge $1500 more The same man threatened our son as well. Now they put our stuff in storage and refuse to tell us where and are threatening to charge us storage fees of 1600 per day Until we pay more money We have essentially had our furniture stolen. Nobel Relocations worked directly with a customer of ours on a move from Miami back to New Jersey, including their entire kitchen that they had purchased from us. They are a long term client for us and they had asked us to help with installation once the truck arrived. Nobel Relocations did an amazing job with communications with the Barry's Appliance team and did the best loading and wrap job we have ever seen on appliances. This is without a doubt the WORST moving company you can go with. The customer service specialist do not help. It seems as though they just read from a script or repeat themselves. We were quoted 2300 for a move and was promised to have the movers by a certain date. They did not show up until the following day. Then, we were up charged to 6100 (from the original 2300) for 2 extra tvs. I told them that we would just go with the original price and forget the extra tvs. I was then explained that the price quoted on the contract was incorrect and it should be more. At that point--realizing it was a scam--- I told them that we would not be using their services and the contract was breached. They did not have any sympathy or support they just let us know they were keeping the 1400 dollar deposit and did absolutely nothing. No move and no attempt to rectify the situation. SCUMBAG company. Nobel Relocation moved our belongings (clothes, some furniture, books, dishes, china, pots, tools, fragile wall hangings, etc.) from Atibaia, Brazil to Seymour, IN, USA. Everything was done very professionally, courteously, punctually and carefully. All of the staff, both in Brazil and in the US, were kind and very helpful, whether by email or by phone. Their door to door service included transportation by truck, ship, train, and truck again. To say nothing was broken would be a lie, but the 3 items that were damaged (out of 106 boxes!) did not even come to a total of $50. I would use Nobel Relocation again and recommend them. read more

Worst moving experience of my life. The subcontractors hired by Nobel to actually deliver our household goods were awesome, but the Nobel agent was very unprofessional. There was such a deep lack of communication and failure to provide details or clarity - I was in the dark most of the time. I would steer clear of them if you can. read more

Avoid this company. We paid for a full-service, end-to-end move and received anything but. After asking for 100% of the fee up front (that should have been a clue) there was a lot of "hurry up and wait" with delivery dates all over the map, extra fees, and staff not knowing what was going on from day to day. Shipment arrived over a month late. Unloading crew was severely under-manned, with workers who took naps on the lawn while my wife and teen-aged kids did most of the work. When it was over, they wouldn't even take away the cardboard boxes and packing materials ("That costs extra!") They will nickel and dime you to the end. Nothing short of remarkable! Nobel Van Lines moved my 87-year-old Mom from Pembroke Pines to Deerfield Beach. They kept her posted before the move, helping to mitigate some of the stress, showed up on time - were courteous, efficient, professional, and kept the cost of the move under the estimate. What!? CAUTION!!!!!! Dealing with this company has been one of the most disappointing and frustrating experience of my life. I am not one to write reviews often, but I don't want anyone to ever have to go through the experience I went through with this company. I am not sure what they did during this move, however, when they arrived with my belongings Almost EVERY piece of furniture was damaged as well as many personal belongings. What was even worse, is all boxes came soiled and water damage was present. I have no idea how they stored everything but this kind of negligence is UNACCEPTABLE. I also had black mold on items. Just so you have an idea, here are some of the damages on a one bedroom apartment: · Pet wood furniture broken and with water damage · Wood 4 foot jewelry box broken and with water damage · coffee table broken beyond repair with legs broken off as well as water damage · office table broken beyond repair, entire side came off as well as water damage · bed broken on side leg with white mold like substance on side of headboard and legs · mattress full of water stains and moldy smell, · TV missing screws · Statue broken · Luggage with water damage · 4 picture frames broken · Shoe rack broken · vintage china broken · Both dressers with water damage and one of them broken · file cabinet broken · electronic garbage can broken · Clothing and linen all soiled and smelling of mold I understand mistakes happen so I gave them the opportunity to rectify this situation. Their answer to me was "That the insurance is exactly for these reasons, and in order to be insured for the full value of your goods and not just based on the basic of $0.60 cent per pound per article that movers provide". Are you kidding me? t's a question of liability for their own direct negligence. While me having purchased ADDITIONAL insurance is for my own protection, the existence of insurance does not negate the moving company's direct liability for their breach of their duty of care. I had posted the above review about 2 months ago and NOBEL asked me to remove it stating they would do the best to rectify the situation. Here we are three months later and NOTHING!!!! To add insult to injury, they came back to me with an offer at a value of less than 7% of my total losses. STAY AWAY!!!!!!! I cannot say enough good things about our experience with this relocation company. They were polite, flexible and on time. A big "WOW" for Miami! We moved between two apartment buildings of which one triple booked the elevator for multiple move outs. This team didn't sweat the details and just rolled with the situation. I would highly recommend this crew with no hesitation. They took our furniture apart and put it back together with no issues and all within the allotted three hour time slot. Highly recommend, specifically Elena and Shir in the office and Lee and his team (MVP Brandon) in the field, for an efficient and stress-free local move in Miami. We asked for a full-service move--packing everything on Day 1 and loading/unloading/unpacking on Day 2. Pricing was very competitive with 3 other companies we contacted, and Nobel offered the best moving insurance option (competitive pricing and easy application). Elena and Shir are super responsive to all questions related to the quote and insurance, and even on the day of the move, Elena helped check and make sure logistics were set with the moving team in real time. We've had hits and misses with moving teams so we were braced for the worst, but we really lucked out with Lee and his team. They: + Coordinated well with management and neighbors at both ends; there were no complaints or comments. We moved out of an incredibly difficult building (convoluted service access and short elevator reservations) into a 4-story walk-up townhome, and the team came fully briefed and prepared. + Worked FAST but not at all sloppily. Everything was packed well and securely, and furniture disassembled and reassembled well--so far, we have seen no damage to our belongings and homes. We'd like to specifically recognize Brandon, who packed and moved probably twice the volume as the next guy--and with incredible care. He was a machine and did not slow down until the job was done. + Were very accommodating of particular requests. First, we scheduled an area rug cleaning to occur after they packed everything and before they returned the next day to move to the new location. They cleared the rugs as they packed and allowed the rug cleaner to work in tandem. And, of course, they helped move the freshly cleaned rugs to the new place and lay them out before arranging our furniture on top. Second, we asked for full unpacking at our new home, and the team really left with no packing materials remaining. We specifically requested no boxes and asked the team to just unpack everything onto surfaces (and we'll put things in proper places later). They unpacked everything and took away all packing materials--blankets, boxes, wrapping papers, bubble wrap, everything. We prefer to settle in this way, and Lee and crew made it incredibly easy for us. + Cleaned up after themselves. A small thing, but we very much appreciated it as a sign of utmost professionalism. Brandon went through each location to make sure no used tape rolls or wrapping paper was left behind, and the team took care of their own trash after lunch on both days. read more

It takes a lot for me to write a negative review, this being said..Avoid Nobel Van Lines. First off we got a Bad Quote. - They sent out an estimator and "suprisingly" they were by far the best price-- so naturally we went with them and thought that perhaps since they were a smaller company they didn't have as much overhead costs and so that is why it was such a great deal. Turns out on moving day, were were told that we had much more stuff than the estimator had stated and we would have to pay more money, which we did pay a lot more money than what was initially quoted. I'll leave it at that. -Secondly, Nobel also lost some of my belongings. I understand that items can sometimes be missing, but the way they handled the situation, I felt that there was no attempt in locating my missing items. Its not so much about the "cost" of the items rather their "worth" and that one of those items was irreplaceable. Do yourself a favor, if a moving company is by far the lowest on a price estimate--Don't go with that company-you'll be paying the difference later! read more

I've never written a review in my life. I'm in the military and this was by far the worst moving company I have ever dealt with! I have a 1700 sq ft home so I have a decent amount of items. I got rid of some of the bigger items such as couches. So there is no excuse to take 20 hours, from 9am to 5am, to pack all of my stuff. Not only that, they did not have a big enough truck to load so they left a lot in the garage. They told me they would pick the rest up on Monday morning but it is now 2:40pm and every time I call they say they are on the way. One of the workers was complaining to my wife that he was hurt and that's why he took 12 hours to pack a small room. On the way out the guy in charge asked me to tip him and his workers! You deserve a tip when you bust your butt for the customer and not milk it for 20 hours! Whatever you do stay away from this company! read more

I've used Nobel three times now in the past 7 years and they've exceeded my expectations each time. From quoting to actual move, I have been very impressed with how helpful and responsive they've been. The moving crews are very well trained, move efficiently in and out of a unit and typically finish faster than the quotes they've given me. I've never had any damage to my furniture or belongings and they've also navigated some larger items down and up tight staircases with no damage to walls. I have moved across the country and across a few oceans in my lifetime. Nobel Van Lines started out friendly and helpful and by the time getting my stuff back from them rolled around had devolved into a complete mess, no communication, and every single box in the deliver was crushed, broken, bent, slashed, or smashed. I want to state that the movers who packed up my home were wonderful, it wasn't till the delivery movers got on scene that things went to hell. I will never ever recommend this company to anyone who needs to move a long distance. Not if you actually want your stuff back in one piece or on the schedule they original. On top of all this, they kept giving me a delivery date, that kept getting pushed back, and then when it finally got to town, we asked them for a timeframe for deliver. They gave us a 2 hour window and they made my handicapped father sit on a hard empty apartment floor for another 12 hours before finally calling at 8 oclock at night saying "We are here!" ... business hours mean very little. They were also supposed to put the furniture back together, but it was so late by the time they finished delivering that never happened. Thousands of dollars for broken goods, late delivery, and rude service. read more

I know what you're going to say, "5 stars?? Really? Is this review fake?" Believe me I would totally be skeptical myself because I have had some serious horror story cross country moves where they've shown up days late, and have lost and broken my furniture etc.. but with Nobel Van Lines it was so, so different I almost can believe it myself. We moved in last week and I keep thinking that were going to discover a missing box, but we haven't. Nobel charges a bit more then other estimates we got, but it was totally worth it. I would totally use them again. They were very professional and easy to reach. You call and speak to real person no problem, they showed up on time at every step of the move. They even brought our stuff early to our new address less then a week after we gave them our new address! (We put our stuff in storage with them in Florida before we found our new place in Virginia). Everyone of the movers spoke English, they had a check off list of boxes / furniture to make sure nothing was missed. They wrapped up every piece of furniture we had in clean furniture pads (there were no scratches or bumps on any of our stuff.) A few things in boxes were broken, but I don't blame the movers for that as we packed our stuff ourselves. We were only charged $75 extra dollars on move in for an extra flight of stairs, and I think that was totally reasonable. FYI: Nobel Van Lines did not actually do the second part of the move. They contracted another company named Eagle... (I don't remember) from Massachusetts. I would definitely recommend Nobel Van Lines to anyone. read more

Have been trying to obtain a inclusive quotation for an international move over the two plus weeks. They consistently underquote on the job and are not prepared to give a detailed cost breakdown. Under such circumstances one must expect trouble and additional costs down the road. Was in contact initially with Ben and subsequently with Yaniv Dalei. My strong recommendation is not to give this company your business - caveat emptor or buyer beware.!! The only quotations we received were for an amount which was less than 50% of two other reputable moving companies. I do not understand why they work the way they do but presumably they are able by whatever means to end up with some profit by the end of the transaction. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL.!! read more

The fact is, they will hire contractors to come and pack your goods then when your items arrive in Israel, you will be handed off to the biggest crooks in Israel - Sonigo. One star is too much for this company. They moved us from Fort Lauderdale to NY. First, They coerced my wife into writing a good review while standing over her before they even moved us. They cracked our ketubah frame and packaged fragile items in the top of boxes like they were just disposable goods. Bins were broken, furniture scratched, etc. The icing on the cake was when they got to NY, the driver refused to drive the truck down our street because he said he couldn't fit and forced her to pay $400 to shuttle our items down the street. The driver was not helpful to our concerns nd when my wife called the owner; Yaniv, he refused to tell the driver to drive the truck down the street. They held our stuff at ransom until we agreed to pay an additional $400. Even our building doormen and supervisor pleaded with the driver that bigger trucks had been up and down the street. The owner takes no responsibility for his actions and could care less about working with customers. Yaniv makes excuses to exert his power and screw his customers out of every single dollar he can. He has every excuse in the book so be aware...Awful company, awful customer service. STAY AWAY, trust me!! read more

Used Nobel Van Lines to move our house from Miami Fl to Los Angeles CA. They came and have me and my wife a free estimate back in August. We could not move until almost end of November. They came and packed us up and load all our items on Nobel truck. The packing job was superb. All items arrived to our new home in perfect condition. Delivery crew was amazing. I had them only move a partial household, but the quote I received was competitive and my furniture that was only a year old, stayed in that condition. Second time on 2013 I had smaller move and they had the best price out of 3 other companies that I checked. So on my last week move I had no doubt who to choose and again I got the best service, they fill up the truck once and return to get the remaining stuff with no extra charge!!! I worked with Moving Specialist Hen Segal for a long distance move a couple of months ago. He was willing to work with me and beat the pricing estimates from other movers. He followed through on everything and when one of the movers packed a box incorrectly breaking a lamp shade he reimbursed us for it. A man of his word. When I questioned it, they threatened to take my things to their storage facility and charge me storage fees (on top of the trumped up moving fees) until everything was paid.They took 8 hrs to move 1 room of furniture and a few boxes just 20 miles. Nobel Van Lines is unprofessional, incompetent and careless. I moved from a condo into a storage facility and then back into my condo, total distance about 10 miles. On the move out they dropped furniture off the truck, one guy even fell off the truck and EMS had to come and take him away! No kidding. They were very very slow. On the move back into my condo Nobel Van Lines lost all the screws to two new beds, then jerked me around for a month, telling me they will fix the beds, which they did not. My total loss about $5,000. You would think they would want to make good on their mistakes but they have no interest in making things right. They take the money and run! I have filed a claim with them and I expect I will have to file a lawsuit to resolve this matter. I recommend you look elsewhere, do not risk your furniture with these guys!! read more
