We purchased a stove and refrigerator from Noble Appliance on 8/13/24. They were severely damaged upon delivery and unable to be used. The promised repair never happened. I spoke with the owner (Jason) who proposed to give me a $900 credit if I would keep the appliances as is. We agreed. This agreement is documented in the dispute response from Noble Appliance. This all could have been avoided if they would have given me the $900 credit in a timely manner. I have repaired the appliances at my own cost. We made an agreement for a refund of $900 to my Citi card and these appliances will not be returned as the agreement was $900 and we keep appliances as is. On August 13, 2024, My wife and I decided to look at appliances at Noble Appliance. At first look the store is nothing like we expected. It was more like a flea market with dozens of broken appliances in rows with doors missing from refrigerators, drawers broken, and big dents everywhere. The appliances had pieces of painter's tape with various dates indicating various states of repair. Our salesman Vinny told us that they were the largest appliance seller in the Midwest and that if we purchased a damaged appliance, he would have new replacement parts installed in my home within a few days. Upon closer look I noticed two major dents in the freezer door, big dents in the rear of the refrigerator and bad scrape marks on the ornate handles. For the stove the ornate handles were scraped and there were several dents in the outside panels. The biggest damage was caused by the heavy cast iron cooking grates on top of the stove that were not secured during transport. These metal grates scraped and dented the entire top and front of the stove and broke the glass display. Also, the leveling feet on both appliances were smashed into the bottom frame of the appliance like they had been dropped. This made it impossible to level the appliance and raise the stove to counter height. Significant damage occurred between seeing the items in store and delivered. I called Vinny to express my concerns. He told me it would be no problem as Noble is the largest appliance dealer in the Midwest and he would order parts and have a service person come to our home to perform the repairs. After several weeks, dozens of calls, texts, and email messages our appliances could not be used, and no repair was in sight. I asked if Noble Appliance could replace the items. Vinny stated that this was not possible. I again stated my frustration, but Vinny insisted that all items would be repaired. Still we had no working stove or refrigerator. I told Vinny that I will be forced to dispute the charge on my credit card. I asked to speak with a manager. On September 18, 2024, I had a phone call with Vinny and the store owner named Jason. Despite the statements made by Vinny, Jason told me that the repairs would take time as they are a very small business. Jason proposed to immediately (see documentation) refund $900 to my credit card, provide a third-party repair warranty for three years for each item, and provide me with a new freezer door if we would accept the items as is. I did not know what else to do so I accepted his offer. At this time the appliances were just sitting in my house waiting to be repaired. About a week or so later I received a message that the replacement freezer door was available, and I could pick it up and get me refund. I drove to the store, and no one could find the drawer. After about 30 minutes Beth came out and found the door. It had a big dent right in the center. I asked about my refund, and she told me that it will take some more time. I told Beth that I had lost faith in Noble Appliance and since they would not refund the money as promised. Beth threatened to send someone to harass us and someone did come banging on our during working hours at least ten times. Beth also threatened to call the police. She did telling the sheriff I committed retail larceny. The officer was annoyed when I showed him the e-mail messages and damaged appliances. I went back home disappointed with no door and no refund. I went home and looked up Noble Appliance. There were several complaints similar to mine documented on BBB, Yelp, and Google reviews. Many never received their promised refund or repairs. I decided it was best to dispute this charge on my credit card. I only wanted to dispute the $900 refund I was promised and the $250 value of the warranty coverage if possible. The Citi customer person disputed the entire $1854 charge for the refrigerator. After being notified about the charge dispute Noble Appliance sent many threatening statements. The sent people to knock on my door, they lied and called the Sheriff and told them I stole the appliances, and they continue to harass us. What should have been a satisfying purchase has turned into a nightmare. In the end CitiBank did an investigation and refunded me $1854. read more

I had an exceptional experience with them. Purchased a built-in counter depth refrigerator for much less than other prices that I found online. Chris was my sales rep. and the transaction was seamless. I was informed that the box was damaged but that there was no evidence of damage beyond the packaging itself. As it turned out, there were some scratches due to rough handling jarring some things loose inside the box, but after sending photos of the scratched items, all parts were sent and received in about a week. I did replace the parts myself, but they were just screw off/screw on pieces. Given the amount of discount vs. new, this was well worth my effort, and even if I had to hire someone to do the repair (if warranty hadn't covered it, which it might have) I still came out way ahead. Ordered appliances mid April. It's now the end of July waiting for my stove that didn't come with my other appliances. I was told it went missing from their warehouse and they were getting another one for me and I would be top on the list for delivery. Before delivery they knew they lost my oven but no one communicated that to me. Upon delivery I asked where is my stove. I called and I was given the run around saying that I should have been notified and wasn't. Communication is very slow with getting answers. This place honestly has issues with professionalism, I honestly have never had such a difficult transaction in my entire existence. I ordered a fridge from this place at the end of the proceeding month and midway through the next month, they still were giving me excuses as to why the fridge wasn't delivered. It's one thing to have things go wrong in terms of getting your delivery, but to then make subsequent and multiple excuses about why the problem couldn't be expedited or fixed is another. If something is an issue with someone's order, fix it. That's why you're in business, right? But honestly this place seems to aire on the side of excuses instead of actual solutions. They like to bounce you around from salesperson to sales person without any real actual solution on when you will get your things. They had a microwave listed on ebay that looked to be in good shape, overall. And we needed a new one since mr. picky pants didn't know that chick-fil-a wrappers had foil inside them... OOPS!! Of course the item description said there was a minor dent and the glass tray was not included, so I thought no big deal - tried to save the teen a few bucks since he offered to replace the unit. THEN..... it arrived and was quite obviously a bait and switch. The unit we received is NOT the unit in the ebay listing photos and no matter of trying to argue with them go anywhere. They wouldn't even provide the serial number so that I could compare it to the unit I received. They offensively offered a $100 IN STORE credit (i live no where near MI) as the only solution to my complaints. Justin was less than helpful. I will never, NEVER do business with them again. And if anyone I know is looking, I will tell them to steer clear. The discount is not worth the hassle. Please see pictures of the listed item, vs. what I was sent... (why would they take pictures of the microwave, THEN apply a very worn and faded sticker to the door, only to try to peel it off prior to shipment? I did not peel this, this is how it arrived. My experience started off rocky but was made right in the end. I purchased a GE refrigerator in May and it was delivered at the end of the month. It needed some repairs that were to be fixed upon delivery and were not. Getting ahold of a manager was difficult at first, but thankfully Roger stepped in and really gave me excellent customer service. He was attentive to my disappointment and gave me reassurance that he was going to make this right. I appreciate that Roger was committed to earning back my business and he gave me a very nice refrigerator in place of the other. We bought our entire kitchen package last July...stove, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. They had to come out multiple times due to ice maker and door level issues for the fridge...we now have the same problem again, as in it was never fixed correctly, and are told they cannot do anything, that I have to call the manufacturer. I should have done my due diligence - read the reviews and done some price comparisons. At the end of the day I ended up with a high end appliance at the exact same price I could have paid at any of the Big Box stores and if I would have purchased at Best Buy I would have had delivery and installation included for the same price. We also purchased a piece of exercise equipment (yes, they sell exercise equipment too) as we were checking out. When I looked up the exercise equipment online I found their discounted price to be nearly $150 more than all of the online prices. I would be hesitant to recommend a friend or relative visit this establishment unless they are prepared to shop around. I really wanted to find a local business that I could recommend in good conscious - this is not it... don't let your guard down, I feel they extracted as much as they could out of my check book and made me feel like I was getting a great deal - lesson learned (again), do your own research before going to the store. read more

The Manager Mitch went out of his way to help our daughter. She is a young first time home owner. Unlike many other appliance stores you'll find he actually took the time to work with her when she made a mistake and ordered the wrong washer and dryer. We've been buying from them for years and we've always been impressed. The Clawson store is huge and often you can find great buys on returns or slightly scratched models at a fraction of the retail price. They have a huge selection of new, in the box inventory or they happily order anything you want. Ten stars, hats off, for their once again good old fashion, quality customer service. We live in Livonia but it's worth it for us to make the trip to clawson whenever we need a new appliance. read more

I needed the appliance by a certain date. A week later found out that it was still not shipped. End up cancelling the order, and, to my surprise, a couple of days later, found out that I was charged a 25% restocking fee! A "restocking fee" on the item that they still had in their possession!!! Mike Anderson and the Noble team set me up with a complete professional grade stainless steel DCS (Fisher Paykel) kitchen on credit after Best Buy offered me a third of what I needed. I have good credit and was shocked to have been rejected by Best Buy, but I'm glad they did. Mike helped me choose the right range hood (more complicated than I thought) and sent product specifications and installation instructions for my electrician and cabinet installers. Great service. Beth in the delivery department is great to work with. She rescheduled my delivery twice for me without complaint: once when the cabinets weren't ready and another time when I had a family emergency. They had a dryer listed on eBay. I contacted them out of band because I lived local enough for a pickup. A few weeks later my fiancee's sister happened to be in the area for work and was able to pick up the dryer. When she saw it, she notified us that it was smashed up; dents everywhere and the controls on the front were falling off. I was pretty surprised as I thought I had bought a new dryer. I was pretty stuck as to what to do because they were threatening to not give me a refund if she didnt take the dryer. They ended up giving me a measly $35 off for a smashed up dryer. I paid via credit card because they wouldn't accept any other forms of payment. They charged a pretty high percentage fee to pay via credit card because they wouldn't accept any other forms of electronic payment. They told me that if I provided them a check, they'd refund my credit card and I wouldnt have to pay the nearly 10% fee for using a credit card. I mailed them a check after I had already had the dryer. They said they never received the check and to mail them another check which I did. They cashed BOTH checks when the new one came. They told me they never got the first check and it wasnt them that cashed it. They had both manager/owners "double check the bank statements". At this point, I filed a fraud claim with my bank. They bank took nearly 6 weeks to even get around to responding to the fraud claim, all the while, Noble Appliance claiming they never cashed the first check. When it came time for Noble Appliance to sign the affidavit, one of the owners just stumbled across the fact that they *HAD* cashed my first check. They basically said whoopsie and refunded me the original amount not incuding the bank fees that I had incurred as a result of this mess. Delivery was impossible, three of the items I paid for were damaged and required parts that I had to pay extra for but still have not received after 3 months. A combination washer/dryer did not work from day one and required 3 service calls. Of the four items ordered and paid for in full 3 months ago, only one can be installed due to the lack of parts and service. Over all our experience here was good. Mike gave us a lot of information at the beginning and made some recommendations. He then left us alone to look at the different dishwashers. In the end we ended up buying the one he originally recommended. Aside from Mike's product knowledge I was also impressed with the fact that he let us stay after hours on a Sunday until we made our final decision. The one downside to my experience was scheduling delivery was a little cumbersome. I had to call back a few times to catch Mike before I could schedule delivery. I trusted Noble Appliance since as an Ebay seller they have no negative reviews (on ebay) and over 1,000 positive comments in the last year. They did not provide a tracking number for my purchase, but I assumed all was in order. Then 4 days after my order they called and told me they were having difficulty getting their shipper to come pick up any product (because of COVID Delta variant, or something like that). I agreed to a refund because they said there was no way to fulfill that same order but then they marked my sale as "buyer requested a refund" which it seems to me would artificially inflate their reliability as an ebay profile to levels that likely would not be attained. The rep even assured me that in spite of their order cancelation, he can still sell to me directly and should save more money in the process. I wanted to have eBay protection before doing business, and my instinct says that going around the process could set me up for disaster. My confidence in the vendor has been shaken and I do not really want to wait this long only to be getting the run around, as I see in several other reviews here. read more

It has been over 5 years and they are both going strong. The refrigerator I ordered was damaged in their warehouse while being loaded. I get it accidents happen. The OWNER of the company called me, not an employee. THE OWNER! What company has the owner involved in daily operations let alone customer service??!! He honored the price of my original purchase for a more expensive model and even followed up with me regarding my delivery and satisfaction. What a treasure trove! I'm not sure what all the negatives about, but after doing my research on eBay, this place is the go to! I was originally shopping on eBay, and noticed their high positive rating and decided to call in. I didn't know that we had such an amazing store right in our local area and I am more than happy to support local family businesses! The moment I walked in I was greeted with enthusiasm from the owner, Roger, who walked me through his whole building. He explained their business, and yes, while it may be overwhelming and disorganized with all their product, it is an EXPERIENCE and a WAREHOUSE! I could not believe how much inventory they had and how they were able to keep track of it all! We searched through their inventory on the computer and I told them I was not willing to buy it without seeing the products as some items were at their other storage facilities! Roger assured me that would not be and issue and promised to bring all the items to one location for me to view and he did just that on a day that I requested. I ended up going back last weekend and to my surprise, the items were just as described! (they ship major appliances across the country as well!!). I bought open box products, which to me didn't bother me, as the scuffs were on the side and would be hidden by the cabinets. The appliances also came with the full manufacture warranty, which one of the associates registered for me - I didn't have to do any work! All in all, this was my one stop place to get my full KitchenAid package and Whirlpool laundry set. I have had nothing but good experiences with them and I would definitely recommend this place. I purchased a range and fridge from noble appliance and paid to have them delivered. Although I fully understood that the items would have a few dents and scrapes I did not know the fridge would not have shelving and the range would not come with a cord. Additionally the fridge's water dispenser came damaged. I am convinced that noble appliance sent me a different fridge and range from what I originally ordered based on the defects they communicated to me. I had to pay $400 to a glass company to have shelves made and another $100 to an electrician to add a cord. At that price point you might as well buy new from Lowe's or Home Depot. 10/10 would not recommend using noble appliance. read more

I purchased an entire kitchen of appliances from this company. What a mistake!!!!! Buyers Beware..... The microwave which stated it was new in the box- wasn't so new. It has a huge dent in the interior- the paperwork in the box- showed the microwave originally came from Best Buy- it also showed that it was previously purchased and retuned due to interior damage. The stove, which I was told only had some wear on the stovetop grates- which I saw when I selected it at the warehouse- was not the stove that was wrapped up for delivery. This stove had damage on the bottom corner and the oven was dirty to to a previous baking spill- so much for new!! The refrigerator was missing the glass shelving, had broken bottom drawers and the plastic pieces that snap in the doors to hold the products were gone. It took 4 to 5 months for this to be resolved. I was promised by Beth that once all this was resolved- a credit would be issued for all my trouble. Well now it's been over 3 months and I can't even get a call back. No credit- only promises that they would take care of me in the end. This company should be out of business. They have no issue taking your money- customer service is a sham. I am hoping this will help someone to avoid the issues I had. I would gladly spend the extra money to purchase it from a reputable store that stands behind their products. Do NOT even consider doing business with this company. They are the worst. I ordered an "out of box" kitchenaid in wall microwave and paid them $1289.00. I live inSouthern California. When I drove to the freight pick up place with my husband we saw that the micro was not not in a box, it was shipped with a black lawn bag wrapped around it with a piece of cardboard taped around it. Really? What makes this company think that that kind of wrapping will survive a 2000+ mile trip in a big rig? When we got the micro home and unwrapped the wrapping, not only was the glass plate inside the micro broken, but the shards from the glass had etched several areas inside the microwave. The door to the micro no longer lined up properly...I emailed and called immediately and was passed along to John in customer service. He was nice enough but there was no resolution to my issue. He passed me along to Mitch Alley who is an operations manager. If you happen to live in the area of this business and have experience in operations, you might want to stop by and apply for Mitch's job, they desperately need help. Bottom line, Mitch just kept arguing with me about the condition of the micro and the way it was packaged. His customer service skills are extremely lacking and he threaten to sue me if I didn't repackage the micro myself in order to have them pick it up. 1. they sell broken appliances and DO NOT test any of them. That's right whatever showed up thru the door is just offed to you problems and all. 2. The delivery service is slow purchased on a Saturday night no one had called to setup even a appointment to drop off my stove when i called them and picked it up myself on Tuesday afternoon. its also 4 times as much as any other store in the area for cords and drop off /pickup. 3. Customer service does not answer the phone when called 4. Massive restocking fees the customer is sure hung out to dry in this department only if your unit does not work at all will they just refund the money you spent. Then since they are not a store really at all they will not have any cash to refund to you and you will then have to wait for them to send you a check for buying a broken item from them. When said check finally shows up it could be for four times what its suppose to be for so now you have 4 times the money (this happened to me) and have to give this place there money back since the customer service department can't figure out how to refund the proper amount of money. 5. they will promise to compensate you the whole time 150 dollars credit after the direct return. (first whole day wasted) then wasting another whole day of my time to return a check then have them lie to my face and tell me a range hood that has a price tag of 185$ on the box still costs 400+ dollars But at the end of the day i just wasted hours and hours of my time being frustrated mad and unhappy because of this company. My home has a counter depth fridge which if you are in the market for one you know it is a pain in the butt to find a fridge that fits properly which is why after dealing with all the big box stores locally and nearly giving up and buying a unit that stuck out just around a foot I figured to give the good ole interwebs a try. I first saw Noble's listings on eBay as well as others and prices as well as reviews were pretty evenly matched. Buying appliances over the last couple months I have come to realize that unless you are buying a refurbished or second hand unit prices are typically within a couple bucks so the only thing left to sway your buying decision is customer service. I am a bit old school and enjoy dealing with people directly. Being in South Florida walking into Noble wasn't an option so I simply phoned them and who would've thought I got a live person on the phone on the first try (technically second cause I called while they were still closed). Spoke to female which was friendly and knew more than I would have ever expected about appliances from the first point of contact. As any good consumer you know I was ready with all questions and made them as technical as possible to make it seem as I know what I was talking about and then BAM.. she asked me the depth of the space where my fridge goes into and I was no better than a deer in headlights. Had to make a second call once I got back home and measured my space and this time spoke to Anthony for a good while trying to narrow down just the right unit for my kitchen. Surprising enough they had multiple fridges in inventory that are specifically for counter depth applications. Once we had it all sorted it out I had to get final approval from my boss (The Wife) but as you'd expect I couldn't reach her so I had no choice but tell Anthony hold up I will call you back cause you know if you're married you do not just pull the trigger when it comes to literally anything. Not 5 minutes later I got my wife's blessing and called back but I had just missed Anthony as he had stepped out to lunch but ended up speaking to Mitch which in all of 5 minutes found my order, confirmed everything to be correct and had an invoice out to me in no time. We setup for the order to come to my home. Easy enough right then he asked "would you need a lift-gate?" my first reaction was of-course I do but then reality set in how many freight trucks you see with a lift-gates.. Not many. Well Mitch was nice enough to setup the delivery with lift-gate service at no extra charge. Buying appliances is VERY stressful so I can understand why some of the negative reviews but all in all I had a great experience and look forward for my delivery to arrive. read more
