Another great find! Just recently re-opened. The staff was warm, friendly and inviting. The food was delicious. The scrappy fries were superb!! Fries stayed crispy and they were perfectly fried! They were not over topped with stuff. The fries stayed crispy everything was perfectly seasoned! I ordered the chopped pull pork sandwich. It was so good! The bun was perfect, the ratio or pork to the toppings was just right! The main reason for our visit was because my husband wanted their pastrami Rueben sandwich, he was very happy!

We are glad they brought back BBQ. We think there BBQ is awesome. Went there on a whim , we ordered the brisket platter and scrappy fries. Brisket was cooked perfectly and tried citrus slaw as a side was great. The scrappy fries are fire Service was great but I feel restaurant is cold because of door set up. 5's all around service and food.

The first time we ate here it was because it was near Allagash, where we were meeting family. The second time we ate here was because it was so amazing the first time, we made a point to stop here for lunch on our way to Acadia National Park. We have tried the following and loved loved loved all of it: fried chicken, pulled pork sandwich, tacos, cole slaw, scrappy fries, pimento Mac and cheese, reuben sandwich, and the Rachel, a special sandwich with smoked turkey, cole slaw, Swiss, and thousand island dressing. Their cocktails are also delicious, especially the strawberry margarita and blueberry lemonade. We have a new tradition: on our way to vacation in Maine, having lunch at Noble Barbecue will be our first meal!!!

Love this place! The food is always so good, the service is great, and the ambiance is nice. Super close to home too.

So, my son heard about Noble from an Uber driver. Told him they had the best burgers, so we stopped by to checK it out. You can imagine our surprise wHen we discovered it was a BBQ place. They do have a meatloaf cheeseburger but the rest is BBQ. We spent time poking at the menu and watching the cooks prepare plates for customers. I am not a huge red meat eater, however the brisket looked great. They have a pretty good menu and side options to your liking. Prices are reasonable, though my son thought they were high. Of course I was buying. He ordered the turkey sandwich and I added cornbread to give something a try. The space is nice and offers table and bar seating by the front windows. After you order you sit and they call your name, but still delivered it to our table. The sandwich looked awesome and my son offered me a bite. It was really good. The bbq combined with the seasonings were right on. The cornbread muffin with the special butter was good too. It was a very cold day so every time the front door opened, it was cold. But heated up pretty fast. They must be doing good advertising because it was busy the entire time we were there. Online, in person take out and GrubHub delivery are your options. So, anyway you want it. My only complaint is with their music. Most people did not seem to acknowledge it, but they were not playing the radio edits of songs A father did come in with his 8 year old (guess) and they left thinking there might be more options for the son. No sooner did they leave the song playing dropped a few expletives and more than once. Hey I am open to music choices, but maybe a warning for those who might bring younger kIds. That way they have a choice and know. We both enjoyed the food and probably will be bU again in the near future. I will bring my appetite next time for sure. Thanks

Simply put... The Most Delicious Rueben Sandwich I've ever had. With my name being Ruben and all, I've tried over a hundred different Rueben Sandwiches in my life, and this one was unquestionably the best. It was so good, that it has ruined all other Rueben Sandwiches for me. I couldn't recommend it more. (oh and my wife really liked her sandwich too)

Takeout- smoked meatloaf cheeseburger- one of my favorite "burgers" around. Wow the flavors!

I do enjoy barbecue however I love Noble. Noble is tiny and a little off the beaten path on Forest Ave, but this place is a tiny powerhouse. The smells and flavors are just blasting from this place, but keep in mind only M-F :( That's my only wish, is that they were open at least one of the Weekend days. But that's ok, I have seen how hard they work during the week with a small but energetic staff and friendly staff they do need a break and rest. They should also be able to enjoy the food and beers they serve. :) My favorites, the meatloaf cheeseburger, the fried chicken sandwich and their french fries!!! The mac and cheese when it's good it is GOOD, the last time it was a bit bland and tasted very little cheese. But it was one time, and I won't hold it against them. I will certainly give it another try. The brisket is delicious as it the chopped pork. But the meatloaf cheeseburger will always have my heart :) If you like craft beer and hand crafted barbecue, I highly recommend this place. If it is busy, be prepared to wait, please know, it is worth the wait.

Brisket Dinner with added side of pimento macaroni and cheese

The food is fantastic!! Their catering company catered our wedding a few years ago and the food was amazing but we hadn't been into the restaurant to eat. The food did not disappoint. We ordered a brisket dinner. It came with fries and a cornbread muffin but we also ordered a side of the pimento macaroni and cheese. The brisket melted like butter in your mouth, fries were cooked the way I like them (a little crispy), the muffin was not too sweet (just right) and the macaroni and cheese was cooked perfectly (not mushy stuff). A big plus was everything was seasoned perfectly, no need for adding salt, pepper etc. The menu is very limited (it does have a vegetarian option) but every element of the food was detailed, including the sides. Absolutely 10/10 would eat here over and over again

To go portion of slaw.

Vegetarian food? At a BBQ place?! The food world for herbivores certainly has changed over the past ten years. And Noble BBQ is doing it soooooooooo right by having something for everyone here; usually I avoid BBQ (because what would I eat?), but their menu clearly labels what's veg and what's not. Thanks for being hip and with the times, NB! The space is awesome - I think this absolutely is the right thing for this building in this location. The interior is clean and spacious with plenty of seating, the staff is quick to serve up big portions of hearty food, and the pricing is pretty fair for Portland. I tried the enormous spaghetti squash sandwich - it came with tomato compote, pimento cheese, fried bread & butter pickles, and swiss chard on buttered brioche." I thought it was going to have a smokier flavor, but it was much, much sweeter. Sweet BBQ isn't really my personal preference, unfortunately (side note [just because this stood out]: there was also A LOT of golden raisins in my sandwich). I do wanna shout-out the pimento cheese that was on it, though: that stuff was mouthwatering. I was scraping it off the bun with my fork - could they just make me a sandwich with this? Yum. Also, I was a little disappointed with my sides: the slaw was tasty, but my mac and cheese wasn't at all what I was expecting based on photos I've seen. The portion was smaller (maybe to-go orders are?) and it was pretty dry making it kind of flavorless - where was the ooey, gooey mounds of it I've seen other people get? Was bummed out for sure. All in all, while Noble BBQ isn't for me, I love what they're doing and where they're doing it. Definitely check them out if you're a fan of BBQ!

Their brisket is wonderful. Love their fries, too. But their corn muffin is amazing. It would be nice if they had a loyalty program!

She's was very accommodating with my deconstructed requests for both Sandwiches. An A+ employee. My Market sandwich (eggplant) was just okay. The bread was for a better word "stale" I could hardly bite into it. The same was true of the turkey ceasar hoagie. However the turkey was very good. I'm going to have to think hard if I ever want to try another hoagie from Ramona's. I know the owners are both respected chefs in their own right but I'm having a tough time justifying whether I will return.

Urg. I was excited to try this place but the egg sandwich I got (the Ramona with broccoli rabe,…read morebacon, American cheese) fell short. The roll was ever so slightly stale and the broccoli rabe had chili in it (so even though I asked for chili on the side it's still in the vegetable part). I also have a total pet peeve about American cheese. In this instance, it just made the sandwich have a gluey internal texture. I often find it is gourmet places trying to be trendy that use American cheese as though they are able to rebrand it. Sharp American or not, the cheese would have been way better in my opinion had it been cheddar or Swiss or really anything. To be fair, the bacon was well-cooked and the eggs were nicely scrambled. Although the sandwich idea is original (broccoli rabe on a breakfast sandwich), I found the flavors just didn't come together. For what it's worth, service was friendly and efficient. Moreover, like a few other places on the East End, I find this place is just sort of too curated, overly self-conscious, and trying too hard to be trendy. I would take a straightforward breakfast sandwich over one that comes with a side of merch and a Brooklyn-hipster-like environment any day.

Thinner crust, decent structure, more structured than a NY, less structured than a Sicilian or a good grandma style. It's a little lighter than a Sicilian or grandma in terms of crust. "Heaviness" is pretty subjective depending on the toppings. The pizza - Soppresatta was packed with flavor, salty, spicy, little sweet from a touch of honey and a very fresh, slightly punchy sauce - keeps some acidity and tastes lively. The crust was delicious, from what I read, this is a sourdough crust. Definitely had some good character and flavor to it.. I got this heated before eating it. The vegan special - obviously I'm not vegan, but that pizza looked phenomenal. Had to try it. This one did not get heated up as it was suggested to leave it cold (logical considering it basically has a salad on top). I don't know what the vegan cheese was but it tasted like a whipped ricotta/goat cheese would. The fresh tomato, pickled peppers and red onion all played perfectly together. I'd certainly go back here. A little on the pricey side but I think it rang in around $18 on these 2 slices (yes, pictured is considered a slice of each) I was plenty satisfied.
