Great experience. Recently popped in to grab a second hand bike for use as a college bike. The…read moreamount of bikes is actually overwhelming, but with a little assistance we found a great one, within budget, and all the necessities (helmet, chain lube, etc.). They have storage services as well , which is extremely helpful. Don't be intimidated by the general chaos that this place can seem! The fellows working there are helpful in getting what you need.

I went in to get my back brakes replaced and my back tire inner tube replaced (I brought the inner…read moretube). I was told this service would take a couple days, which I expected, and left my bike with them. I then received a message 2 days later saying they had replaced the inner tube and just needed to get confirmation to go ahead with some brake repairs, which I approved for the estimated price of 76.02. I then heard nothing from them for 3 weeks. As it is midterm season and I am in a challenging major, I didn't have time to be thinking about my bike, so I assumed parts were on back order or something. Eventually I caved and messaged possible times I could pick up the bike. I was then messaged after both of the times I gave, such that I couldn't pick up my bike for another week. When finally messaged back, I discovered they uncharged me to 116.02 for a service I did not approve. When I eventually made it into the shop, I inquired about the time and the price. The employee I talked to gave me attitude saying, "It sounds like you should open your own bike shop." After repeatedly telling the employee I was talking to I was not mad and simply curious as to what happened, he told me someone put the bike on a rack upstairs and forgot about it for nearly a month. In the end, they took 20$ off the total (still 20$ more than what I was sent in an itemized list). Overall extremely unprofessional experience, I will be fixing my bike on my own from now on.

You will be taken advantage of, threatened to take down bad reviews, and talked down to. My experience with the David made it clear that he doesn't respect women or his customers. He promised to refund half of the bogus "diagnostic" test. We did NOT receive a diagnosis. We did NOT have any proof of what was done to "diagnose" anything. David talked down to me in the store, belittling me like I didn't know what a diagnostic test was. That will never be something I am willing to take from anyone, especially not you David!!!! Stop taking advantage of people and then threaten them to take down honest reviews!!! Most recently, this clown threatened my wife to only return half of the money if a different review was removed. (Google) Not going to happen, bud. The truth hurts sometimes, David. Honest reviews are the consequences of being a shady, dishonest, misogynistic business owner.

Since no prices were displayed in the store, I asked for clarification and was told via Instagram (in writing from the owner) that the "Ranger S" was priced at $1,199. This also matched the sale price on the manufacturer's website at the time. As a matter of fact, this model is still on sale for $1,299 with free accessories. So this is even more insult to injury. The $1,199 price (on the manufacturer's website) also included free accessories, but I did not press the issue. When I returned on July 22 to purchase, I was charged $1,499 instead of $1,199--an overcharge of $300 before tax. I immediately asked for the adjustment, but the owner has failed to issue a refund despite multiple messages and even an in-person follow-up. Weeks later, I've received no communication and no resolution. I even offered to spend the additional $300 in the store - still no reply. This feels dishonest and unprofessional. If a business cannot honor its own listed prices--or even return a simple message--it should raise red flags. There are no return policies printed on the receipt or posted on their website. Avoid shopping here unless you want to risk being overcharged and ignored.

So of course, when my family and I had the chance to explore the city via its waterways, we jumped at the chance. We had our first-ever canoeing experience as a family, and I have to admit that I was a little (OK, a lot) nervous. But Fort Wayne Outfitters was super professional and made sure that we were all safe, and I felt a lot better once we hit the water. They gave us some instructions on how to paddle and how to change direction. Canoeing and kayaking are two of those activities that you just have to jump in and do it yourself, and you eventually get the hang of it. After about 10 minutes of paddling up the river, I felt a lot more confident! I wasn't going to win any awards, but I was able to paddle fast and turn the canoe in whatever direction I wanted it to go. We had two young children with us, and the children sat at the front of the two-person canoe, because they weigh less than the adults. Everyone is given life jackets, and they provide multiple sizes for adults and children. We booked two hours, but my youngest child pooped out after about a half hour. Canoeing is a good workout, and it'll get you tired! But I feel like an older kid could definitely go two hours. The best part about our experience was that we got to see downtown Fort Wayne from a whole different perspective. Fort Wayne Outfitters and the boat launch is located at Promenade Park, so we got to see all of the great features of the park, and then also the nature and beauty of this part of Indiana (as well as beaver dams!).
