Lexus had dead battery, so AAA changed it, but I lost the fob and couldn't start the car. Dealership said I had to tow the car (12 miles away), get the car evaluated for another fob. Estimate was $750, not including towing. Used Yelp, which sent out my problem to locksmiths and got bids. Noble Locksmith answered questions, evaluated the situation through a chat line, made a bid and sent a mobile service truck to my house. I drove 40 minutes to get to their La Mesa location to get a duplicate FOB made. After 45 min, they said the new FOB was defective and I'd have to come back. They didn't have another to try so they said they would order another and I could make an appointment in 5-6 days. I asked if they could express order the key, they said sure if I paid. They offered to come out to my home but that would be an additional $60 on top of the $300 fee for the new FOB, and no, they couldn't guarantee the next FOB would work and wouldn't split the on additional site fee. At no point did they acknowledge my time loss (2.5 hours drive to and back and wait) or the cost of gas - all of which would double if I was to return. They said, "sorry", and seemed truly surprised when I asked them, "Exactly why would you think that I will do this all again when you have not shown any consideration or indication appreciation to me, but expect me to have enough loyalty to you to do this all again with no guarantees?" I said, "No, I won't be back," and left. Later, the owner wrote me claiming I had been extremely rude to his staff and he didn't want me as a customer. Today, I called Joe, a locksmith up in the Adams Ave area. He said he would be out to my home with in the hour. He programed the new FOB in 1/2 hour, made an emergency key that just opens the door, and put a new battery in my old FOB. He charged me $310. So I don't like leaving bad reviews but in this case, I feel I have to. I called this business ahead of time asking if they could make a duplicate car key with the automatic remote/fob. I wanted to have a backup in case something happened to the original. I was quoted $239 plus tax, and that it would take 20-30 min. I went to their location and waited for over an hour. They ended up breaking my original key remote. To make matters worse, they said they had a problem "hacking" into my car to program the remote. After breaking the original, they gave me $40 off and charged me $211 for a new remote...I just wanted to get a duplicate. Not only did they break my original key fob, they killed my car battery and had to jumpstart it so that the car would function. A few days later, my car battery was dead, adding another unnecessary expense for me. Finally, after this entire fiasco, I was told "next time you should go to the dealership if you want a key." read more

Noble locksmith is fabulous for so many reasons. So.... I realized once I was back at my boyfriend's house that my travel clutch which contained my car key, had fallen out of my luggage while on a plane. We had just spent several days at his parents' house and I was ready for a quick escape back to my home, only to realize that I didn't have my car key! After hours of phone conversations with airline employees trying to find my lost clutch I called the dealership to inquire about a new key. I was quoted a price that was out of my budget and then also told I would have to pay for my vehicle to be towed to the dealership to get the new key fob programmed. I opted not to do that and subsequently found Noble! They were amazing. The price was better. They have a mobile service so I didn't have to pay for towing. I was re-keyed within 2 hours and ready to go! After one day, the airline called to tell me that they had my key and I could pick it up. Bummer right?! But no! Coincidentally, the fob that Noble made for me wasn't working so when I called Sean on a Saturday to say I was stranded we trouble shot the problem and figured it was just a dead battery. Since we avoided having an employee work on a weekend and drive out of the service area, Sean offered to have my found fob reprogrammed. Wow! AMAZING customer service! What a great, reliable locksmith!! I just bought a 2010 Lexus es350 & it only came with 1 key!! I said to my husband "oh no! I'm going to need 2, what if I lose this one?!" So we searched everywhere for a "non-scammer"... one time I locked myself out of my car & they quoted me one thing, but charged me another & I was not going to let that happen again!! Keys aren't cheap. SO, I finally found NOBLE Locksmith... & let me tell you, the name definitely speaks for itself! I called them to schedule a key programming for my Mercedes' Benz 1999 SLK Roadster. They quoted my $325 over the plus tax which I was fine with it, the technician came over and told me he had to open the whole dash and there is a lot of work blah blah blah, upselling another thing, anyways at the end he said it would cost me $560 plus tax, totally changed the price to different amount, I told him I had a different quote over the phone he said let me talk to my supervisor office and he will let me know, he sat in his truck and took off just like that. I called Noble Locksmith when I locked my motorcycle keys in my Harley saddlebags. My call was answered on the first try and was quoted $89 plus a 35-45 min response to my location. I did not end up needing their service as I was able to locate my spare saddlebag key however Noble's response and price was superior to the other locksmith that I attempted to contact. The other locksmith did not answer after two calls, instead courteously texting me to ask how he could help. I was then quoted $129 for the same service-- $40 more than Noble. Though in the end I was able to solve my problem on my own, Noble maintained good contact throughout and a superior price. I will contact them first if need be. read more

Wow, what amazing service! First off, I was able to schedule someone the same day to come out and also did everything via text message which was really convenient for me as I am constantly bouncing in-between virtual conference meetings for work. Daniel was my technician and he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He helped me repair my key ignition switch cylinder as the wafers were not cooperating anymore (older car now) and save me the trouble of having to replace the whole unit altogether and change all my keys. Was extremely efficient. The job took less than an hour for him to complete. Will definitely use their service again in the future!
