This place was stellar. Truly authentic thai cuisine in modern setting. Spacious and open dining room with nice bar. Loved everything we ordered. Pad ka pao was made to perfection. Not overly sauced, not too salty, not too sweet, not too high on basil, it was literally "just right." Pad thai was tangy with some good sweetness bringing out tamarind flavoring without being too rich. Dishes played well together as well. Apps were chicken saute which were outstanding, came with toast as will typically be the case in thai land. Moo ping (marinated pork skewers) were juicy, tender and dipping sauce flavorful. Only downside was the menu was a bit small. If they had more items such as some other thai restaurants in area, do wonder if would be good thing in actuality because what they hone in on is blissful. When I looked up the location, I was surprised to see it took over Opart's location. There were close similarities in taste and menu offerings. However, what I found disappointing: khao soy was thin, too soupy. The tiger cry was slightly burnt/over cooked and tough, which I actually prefer medium to medium well. Lastly, the kee mao was a bit greasy and caused the noodles to be mushy/soft. And although it was generous with peppers and protein, there were more than there were noodles. This new Thai place recently opened up and I was so excited to try it. There were multiple reservations available when we went on a weekday night so that was great. We were seated right away and the service was friendly and quick (perfect because we were all so hungry). To start off, we ordered the veggie spring rolls and omg the peanut sauce was amazing!! I am giving this place a four star rating because the ingredients listed for the soup were not actually in the soup. The listing states that the soup comes with straw mushrooms (my favorite) but as you can see in the photo of the actual food that was delivered they put regular white mushrooms in the soup, These are not straw mushrooms. It was honestly the only reason I even ordered the soup to begin with. I also thought that it was a little odd that There was no option to request dried chili for the pad Thai. After getting a procedure done, I was craving Thai food. I ordered food here and the two of the dishes out of three we had ordered was horrible. We ordered there before, but this time it was bad. I called UBER Eats and they said because it was the food bad, it wasn't their fault. The restaurant said since I didn't pay with them and we went through UBER Eats, they couldn't refund or give us a replacement for food. I had the Pad Se Ewe that had no flavor and the Seafood Fried Rice that was so spicy it burned my taste bud and had to drink so much water. The only thing right was the Pad Thai. If you are going to order from third party like UBER EATS expect that restaurant to NOT stand by the quality their food, you will get sub par since it's ok if you order through UBER Eats. They can give you sub par food and/or worse. I wouldn't expect much on their delivery service. We were looking for a fun dinner option when the oldest child suggested Thai food. Great idea! Noble Thai became the destination. We looked over the menu and found many promising options. Yum! We chose the Gaeng Keow Waan, the Pad See-Lew, the Garlic Fried Rice, the Kuay Tiew Kee Mao, the Spring Rolls, the Mango Sticky Rice, and one Thai Iced Tea for each of us. The spring rolls were a tasty start with eggs, cucumbers, bean sprouts, tofu and a tangy sweet & sour sauce. The gaeng keow waan was a wonderful green curry with Thai eggplant, green beans, and a coconut milk base. Great flavor over the white rice or on it's own. We jumped right in on the noodles sharing the pad see-lew and the kuay tiew kee mao. The pad see-lew included flat rice noodles, Chinese broccoli, and eggs accented with a light sweet soy flavor. Excellent choice! The kuay tiew kee mao had flat rice noodles, basil leaves, peppers, cabbage, Chinese broccoli, and bean sprouts. This dish had a delectably mild sour flavor that was quite good. The star of tonight's dinner show though was the garlic fried rice. We love garlic and this dish did not disappoint with its garlicky garlic flavor! So good! We finished this dinner with the mango sticky rice. The rice was perfectly prepared, all stuck together, and mildly sweetened. The mango, so ripe, and paired with the sticky rice was a perfect dessert for this scrumptious dinner. We are now Noble Thai fans and hope to come back next time we are in Chicago. read more
