Not very good. I ordered delivery from here - basil fried rice with tofu no spice and veggie pad thai with mild spice. The basil fried rice hardly had any basil in it and was pretty flavorless with the exception of the abundance of soy sauce (I prefer fried rice with easy soy sauce). The pad thai had a weird fishy smell and taste and had too much tamarind sauce. I can't speak to the restaurant ambiance or service, but I won't be ordering delivery from here again. read more

Two words: CRAB RANGOONS. I've heard great things about their crab rangoons and I finally got to try it! They were the perfect texture with the crunch but soft when you get a bite of the crab filling. The dipping sauce was also on point. I thoroughly enjoyed my mild pad see eiw with chicken. I had a feeling the spice levels were going to be extremely higher than what I'm used to and unfortunately the minimal spice level on my boyfriend's pad Thai was super hot already and couldn't enjoy his meal as much. The food was good and the cucumber martini was delicious, but was pretty disappointed in the service. We arrived for our 8:15 reservation on time and were immediately told the kitchen is closing soon so we need to order asap (which is fine, I understand that), but as we are still eating our dinner the dessert we order comes out and is just sitting there. Then the staff begins to start mopping the floors, turns on the lights and stops the music by 9pm. If your restaurant has a hard stop at 9pm, you shouldn't be taking reservations past 7:30pm. I love this resturaunt. Whenever I need a delicous take out option, Noble Thai is always our top choice. The Khao soi is a must try, and the pad thai is always a hit. The spring rolls with the peaunut sauce are also killer! Try and stop in for their Happy Hour if you can. The draft beers are only $4, and they have a really nice skylit bar in the back. Don't get me wrong, Noble Thai was good; and good is good! That's exactly what a Three Star review is - Good. My only problem is, here in Chicago, the last 2 1/2 years we've been living here, our Thai food restaurants we've frequented have been exceptional. That's not to say "I wouldn't come back here", but I probably won't. Noble is a very modern, clean establishment with nice people working here. My issues were temperatures of our food, the correct spiciness of our food and communication with our drinks seemed to have gone awry. Very good choice for takeout, delivery AND dine-in. Friendly staff, delicious food. Not a huge menu, but most of the expected choices are there, and I've enjoyed many of them. They are very good at making sure you let them know how hot (as in spice) you prefer. If you are honest with them, you'll get what you will enjoy. The decor is mostly wood with a contemporary style. I think it is fashionable and yet tasteful. There is some attempt to compensate for mostly hard surfaces for noise reduction. Since I was not there during a peak meal time, I can't confirm what level it would be like then, but I found it pleasant. I like that their table sizes, and layouts afford some flexibility to accommodate different group sizes. So this is a very generous rating. It's clearly a family run business operated with enthusiasm. They won't be getting a Michelin star anytime soon because my friend spoke of the inconsistencies in the cuisine. I believe her 100% even though it was my first time here. The beef egg noodle dish medium lacked flavor to me. The chicken wings were undercooked and doused with flavorful seasonings. The crispy pork wasn't crispy. The highlight of this meal was the chicken pad Thai that was familiar in flavors of all other Thai restaurants I've previously experienced. The best part of this venue is the decor! Walking into this place, I was actually surprised by the ambiance. It kind of felt like an upper-scale restaurant. Interesting aesthetic. They also decorated for Halloween near the front check in area which was nice. They have a nice bar seating area too with a sunroof. Like I said - the aesthetic here is surprisingly nice. The employees here were really nice and sweet. Nothing bad to say about the service the entire time. I also really liked that they have happy hour between 4-6pm Monday - Friday. I took advantage of that no doubt by ordering a Kirin draft. As far as my food, the reason why I took a star off is because my pad see ew beef was not that good! The beef was very dry and had no flavor. The noodles and beef ratio was also surprisingly the opposite of what I'm used to with way less noodles. If the beef was actually good, I wouldn't have really cared and probably would have enjoyed having more meat for once, but the dryness really made the meal not enjoyable. All the flavors here are excellent. The only complaints I have would be that the curries have very few ingredients mixed in, so it's essentially just curry, a few pieces of the meat chosen, and a small quantity of vegetables. The khao soi is also low on meat and is almost entirely noodles. Nitpicky but I've had better khao soi and curry at a lot of places. Everything else, Noble Thai does well. Noble Thai has become our favorite Thai place in Chicago. Noble opened on Chicago in the location of the old Opart. They've completely renovated the inside into a newer, more modern look. Noble has never been busy when we've come by frequently but it's clear they do a crazy amount of takeout orders. We've done both dine in and take out here and everything has always been tasty and well presented. Our favorites include the peanut lover, Tom yum soup, and pad kee maw. Labor Day weekend find and loved it. This is nice, spacious, and minimalist style Thai restaurant offering authentic Thai cuisine with a modern twist . Led by Chef Roongnapha Prakobkit, Noble Thai serves excellent Thai food and drinks. The restaurant is fairly new and I can see it gain the popularity of Opart Thai House. We ordered the Tom Yum Soup, Shumai, Chicken Satay, Pad Kratiam Prik Thai, Gaeng Daeng. Each of the dishes were bursting in Thai flavors and were delicious. The portion size was good and could be easily shared. Still can't get over how tasty the food was. The service was excellent and price was reasonable. I had just gotten to Chicago and I was hungry! Luxuriating in my hotel room I searched Yelp to see what my dining options would be and saw that Noble Thai had my favorite dish, khao soy! Not every Thai place has it so I was pumped. The delivery time was a bit on the longer side but if I didn't have to leave my PJs after a long drive that was fine with me. In addition to the aforementioned khao soy, I also got the Tiger Cry appetizer (charbroiled marinated beef with tangy chili sauce) that I saw multiple yelpers raving about. It was so good and an ample portion. Seriously, with a side of rice it could be its own entree. The khao soy was also VERY good (a coconut curry broth with egg noodles, sliced chicken, and crispy egg noodles and sliced onions on top). They packed the broth and the noodles/topping in separate containers which was good so nothing got too soggy but it honestly was slightly challenging eating it in a hotel bed! But it was worth the struggle! Also got a Thai iced tea to wash it all down with and that was also delicious. Will definitely hit them up again next time I'm in town! read more

Good shit as far as Thai food goes. It has a pretty affordable menu at least for around here. Noble Thai, in case you couldn't tell by the name, is located in Noble Square. Fairly new business and it's not that busy yet apparently. The prices are good and there's big portions. After looking for Thai this place came up and we chose it. If you expect to get spicy stuff you won't be disappointed, and there's even more spices to add on the tables if you think it needs even more. The menu isn't that large, which makes it easier to pick something. Good thing because it all sounded good. Talking about vegetarian choices only of course, but there were lots of these. It's about $10 for an entree. The food came out super fast, which can be worrying but no worries for this time. Both of us had the Pad Kra Praow. This has basil and Thai peppers. Add a protein for an extra charge. I got it with tofu for a buck extra. For sure it was spicy but not bad. There was no need to add more. For sure could come here again. It has a lot to choose from. This restaurant opened up pretty recently and we're always on the lookout for good Thai food in Chicago so we had to check it out! The interior is very modern and pleasant (especially liked the glass roof at the bar). We got peanut sauce spring rolls to start and these were a little interesting.. I've gotten fresh spring rolls many times but these were a little different than what I was expecting. They were cut into small bite size chunks and the wrapper was more doughy. It was still tasty, just not what I think of for a typical spring roll. For our mains we got pad Thai and panang curry. Both of these dishes were super flavorful and tasty, and the portion sizes were pretty substantial. We had some leftovers to take home and I was happy to eat them the next day. We also got Thai donuts for dessert! The donuts were fluffy and crisp on the outside, and came with a side of sweetened condensed milk to dip. Yum! Overall I think this is a nice spot if you're looking for good Thai food!
