My sweet pup had a fox tail imbedded in her R lower eye lid for 2 weeks which her regular vet clinic, (Gentle Care hospital)didn't care enough to examine. Just gave her a bunch of medicine. And no relief on her eye for 2 weeks. Can I start by saying do not judge based on first appearances. The receptionist has RBF but is the sweetest person ever! I had to bring my dog Oreo in after neglecting his dental health for too long.. I'm not proud of it, but his breath was out of control. I wasn't surprised he was going to need extractions and a deep cleaning. Prior to bringing him here his other veterinarian had said it was gonna be at least a couple thousand a friend of mine recommended Noble Vet and I'm glad that he did. Today my dog had several extractions and I'm happy to say that he is home and with better breath. I brought my sick cat here referred by my regular vet, who was too busy to see him right away but he needed immediate care. He was in terrible shape when I brought him, something that had hit him out of nowhere just 2 days before that was keeping him from eating. But I feel--apart from one receptionist who was very kind--everyone else was rather cold and even impatient, not at all compassionate. The doctor, and an assistant(who was very cold when she gave me his ashes a week later) were not mean or anything, but I felt they could do with at least the pretense of warmth. It's traumatic enough losing your friend of 10 years when he'd never even been sick before, and when he'd been very brave to hold on till I could get him to the first one that was open. Seeing some of the other reviews, I wish I'd looked at the yelp page and not just accepted the referral. It appears the attitude I experienced was not unusual. I'd much rather he'd seen his normal vet, and I have my doubts about whether he was really beyond saving. I regret taking him here, but I guess they did what they think is their best. read more

He died because of the negligence of your vet -- a vet who charged me an absurd amount for a consultation. A cold, emotionless person who only cared about money. And now, after a full year, you have the nerve to send me an email? Knowing my cat died a year ago? What kind of "professional" service is this where you don't even update your records? Overall, this emergency clinic did not work out for me nor my Pup at all. Upfront fees, change in final price, treatment did not work, etc. Customer Service wasn't consistent -- Initial visit, had to wait a bit before being helped. Despite being the only one in waiting room. The individuals that saw my Pup were nice and so was the Vet. Let's get to the nitty gritty -- 1. Upfront charge exam fee of $100 Every other place I've been to, we are charged a final fee. So this was different for me completely. 2 After initial exam, was charged the next portion of the fee (known as the deposit) up to the final treatment. 3. At the very end, charged the final fee. 4. Then charged separate fee for medication. So four separate transactions the same day. It was becoming a bit much. Would be better to bundle this all into one. What irked me is that they barely assessed my pup and then said, we need to charge a sedation fee. I've been to three different vets and he's never had to be sedated. When I picked him up, he was as if he was never sedated. So that was a weird situation. I dropped off my Pup and they later called me for final price before they moved forward with treatment. I confirmed and allowed the to proceed. When I arrived to pick up my seemingly not-sedated Pup, I was given a price not told to me on the phone. A mistake that happened to be $150 more than what was quoted. They took swabs that took longer than their estimated time to return. I purchased medication to give to my dog. Their treatment? Did not work whatsoever. He's still sick and I have appointment to meet with primary vet. Overall, I would not say shady business but a place I'd never go to again. read more

This is my favorite and most honest veterinary clinic. I live in San Francisco and I would not trust anyone with my animals except Dr Singer and his lovely staff . Harry had been vomiting non stop for 24 hours so I took him to SFSPCA because this is where we had rescued Harry just 3 months ago , they did a quick triage and said "he has a blockage and needs to been since right away . We don't have room , so here is a list of hospitals near you , hope you have pet insurance " . I called all the local hospitals and same response we are booked can't help and some just never returned my call . I decided to see if hopefully I could wait 24 more hours and see if I could go to Nobel Vet clinic early Monday morning . I sent the email to the contact on the website and I immediately received an email stating you can bring Harry in anytime after 8 am and we will make it work . I was so happy , Dr singer said he would have time for the surgery. I left Harry knowing he was in great heads , and about an hour later I received a call from Dr Singer stating he did not need to perform the surgery , because during the pre op procedures Harry was able to vomit out the obstruction. Before Christmas 2022 my cat had a health emergency. I needed to take him somewhere for urgent examination and care. I was grateful to learn that the Noble Vet Clinic sees animal patients for urgent care without previously being one of their patients and without any appointment. It was my first time going there. I am super impressed with the Noble Vet Clinic. Dr. Singer is an excellent veterinarian; very knowledgeable and experienced. Equally important and much appreciated by me, was his very personable and genuine manner. He took time to thoroughly explain my pet's situation and answer all my questions. Every one of the staff is like that within their own capacity and role. I was amazed at how each one was very up-to-date about my cat's treatment. They never once had to say...'please hold while I look in your cat's chart'! I'm the type of person who wants details and asks a lot of questions. Everyone was very sweet and patient with me as well as kind and loving to my cat! I could say much more in a rave review, but will close with another aspect of this veterinary practice that I enjoyed. There is a kind of unique and special-ness about their atmosphere. Some people are just worth taking a moment to recognize and Dr Singer and his staff deserve more than that. After frantically looking for a vet for almost a whole day for our bird, we are so lucky to have found this one. Dr. Singer came out and talked to us personally and I was very transparent did not want to charge extra money to do testing because he could tell what was going on and was very honest he could have said he needed to run more test and charge more money, but with his expertise, it was very obvious what was going on. We did end up putting our bird to rest, which finding someone to help with the bird was a challenging itself that goes to show how talented he is. You get a vibe there that he actually cares. He's not trying to get rich off everyone. The staff went above and beyond and then today a week later we get a card, greeting the loss of our bird with handwritten messages from every single person in the staff. My dog got euthanized in this clinic. The vet and the staff are very kind and empathetic. They helped us with the process and gave us time for our family to stay with our dog for the very last time. They gave us hair clippings of our dog and even placed it in small bottles that can be used as key chains. They also help us arrange for the cremation and urn. I'd give a 0 to be honest. I have been going to Noble for over 15 years, and in that time the quality of care has depleted. Just this past week I attempted to bring in one of my cats for a checkup. All three times I was denied. Twice because they were having a two hour staff meeting, and on Friday Dr. Singer was leaving the clinic which was closed before 10am. If I could give no stars I would. Today was the 2nd and last time I'll be taking my dog to see Dr Carl Singer. He walked in the room and made no attempt to say hello to my dog or offer him a treat. He was rude to me and bambino. Bambino is a well behaved dog and is friendly with every person he has met in the last 3 years except this Dr and a homeless person that approached me in Berkeley. I think it goes without saying that when you meet a dog you first establish a connection. The Vet Assistant did an excellent job introducing himself to Bambino and was friendly talking to him the first 5-10 min. The Dr. walked in agitated and said hurtful things out loud, i.e. "this dog is 160 pounds of danger", the insults didn't stop and neither did his horrible attitude. Keep this Dr. away from people and dogs. He is not suited to be a Vet and I know why he doesn't have a dog and it's not allergies. My daughter and husband took our beloved bunny here to be put down. Bunny had worked at my preschool and was loved by so many and lived to be we believe 17-20 years. The kindness, care and compassion they were shown was such a comfort to me since I couldn't be there. RIP Kilo.!! (Key-low) Please dont take your pet here for any type of surgeries. My cat son kilo suffered dear consequences all due to the incompetence of Dr. Singer. Back story on how i went on meeting Dr. Singer and Noble veterinary. Back in october of 2022 our dear kilo was suffering from blockage. I responded by taking him to VCA emergency and they told me his condition and told me how much they charge to unblock him. They advised me on a surgery if blockage is seen later in the future that could potentially keep him unblocked. The PU Surgery. They gave me an estimate and it was far off my budget. So they unblocked him and i went about my days. A few days later he ends up being blocked again and this is where i find Noble vet and decided to take him there. I always seen them there for years and believed our kilo was in good hands. Noble vet confirmed he was blocked and we went on about speaking of the PU surgery. He advised me he could do it though i had to take my cat home and monitor him close, and if not i can take him to the ER so they can monitor him for the night after surgery. We agreed on the price he told me and i went to book the surgery for our kilo. Once the surgery was performed i went to pick him up and went home. As i was monitoring him and watching i noticed his stitches come undone and i immediately contacted Dr. Singer. He advised me to bring him in and they can just stitch him right up. I went and he told me he only ripped off the stitches that closes the opening but not the urethra. So he advised me to leave him there until the end of the day. I did. When i came back and got home I noticed that he had put staples and repositioned the urethra and closed him up. Now mind you this is now the 2nd surgery he had, even though Dr singer told me it would only be closing his wound. I followed all the Dr rules, 2 weeks of cage confinement and drugging him to not let him reopen his laceration, making sure his area is nice and clean and put pressure to cauterize the surgery. Weeks, months went by and he made a good recovery, though i thought. A few weeks ago unfortunately our kilo again started to have problems peeing and i took him right back in to Dr. singer and he confirmed of another blockage, nothing else and nothing unusual. During then he explained to me that the surgery didnt seem to be looking good and i should seek PROFESSIONAL BOARDED help. I was dumb founded. I just took my cat home as he unblocked him and we continued with this bump on the road. Attempting to seek a vet he ends up being blocked again. So i took him to a different veterinarian ( united pet hospital) and was glad they told me they cant treat him because he doesnt have the correct knowledge. So i left that place and took him right back to Dr. singer where his PU surgery was done. Truth be told he says his PU surgery was a failed surgery because his hole was covered with skin or scar tissue build up. He went about telling me he can attempt one more surgery but to only open the hole since it was covered, to allow him to urinate. Never once told me he was going to enlarge his urethra hole, or again to seek BOARDED MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS. When i approved the surgery i had left him there and he advised me to come get him at 5pm. Now this is the 3rd surgery he has had and was being nothing but hopeful. When i went to go pick him up again i brought him home and again with the medication and confinement. After his surgery a few days passed and i took him in and Dr. Singer confirmed that surgery was not successful and i had to seek BOARDED MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL. He referred me to VCA emergency and i went immediately. Upon arriving VCA confirmed our cat was blocked and another PU surgery may be required. Now they were unsure the PU surgery was going to be successful because Dr. Singer advised he attempted 3 PU surgeries. They gave me all the details i could use and at that point i knew Dr. Singer malpractice on my kilo. He never once told me he was redoing his PU surgery let alone another time and my only knowledge was the first one he done. It pained me and my family on putting our kilo to sleep because of the incompetence and unprofessionalism of a Dr. who tried to right his wrong doing. BY FIRST DOING A SURGERY ON LITTLE TO NO KNOWLEDGE AND ATTEMPTING TO REPOSITION HIS URETHRA BECAUSE HE TOLD ME IT WASNT HEALING PROPERLY. Why couldnt he just tell me seek BOARDED MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL instead of playing surgery and attempting to do a surgery he had very little to no knowledge at all what so ever. Now our lovely kilo is not here, and i surely do miss him. He was the most loving/ playful out of all his siblings. Loved playing with his siblings and definitely loved his jingle bells. Now i dont hear anymore jingle bells and hear his brother crying every night for kilo. read more

I had the best experience at Noble. My dog had an abscess and needed extensive dental surgery. I was extremely worried and panicked and the receptionist stated, Bri, informed they could take my dog and it would be about a 45 min wait. Everyone was so warm, knowledgeable and professional. Mateo (I hope I get his name right) was so gentle with my pup, he described the procedure in detail and assuaged my fears and also connected me with a payment plan. My dog was able to be seen the very next day and Dr. Singer did a great job. If I could give negative stars I would. Its been almost a year since Dr. SINGER killed my dog. Basic spay and she died of sepsis after they punctured her intestines and sowed her up to bleed internally and die in my arms. Not one phone call or apology or condolences came from the ahit show of a clinic. But I do believe in Karma. If you love your animals please do not ever take them here. I will continue to advocate against Singer and Nobke vet as they don't stand behind the name of being "Noble" RIP Ariel. I am so sorry we trusted you with the wrong people. Our Rottweiler had an appointment today at 4:00 pm and Noble Veterinary Hospital called us up today at 1:20 pm canceling our appointment due to an emergency and then tells us "WE CAN NOT RESCHEDULE" Our dog is super skinny and she has a ball hanging from her breast area and we are concerned about it. I was grateful that they allowed me to come into urgent care, but the entire experience was awful. In order to drain an abscess on my dog's neck, they needed to subdue him and claimed he was being extremely aggressive with them. Although it may be true, he's never shown aggression towards other vets before. I entrusted my companion to the veterinary clinic for a duration of many hours, and upon receiving a call to come pick him up, they explained the necessary medication and insisted that he be neutered. I overheard staff making distasteful remarks about a situation involving dog brought in from a hit-and-run while conversing in front of other customers. After receiving payment confirmation, a staff member let out my pup. They failed to pull him out on his original leash, and the incision was left open, so he was bleeding profusely. When I inquired as to why he was hemorrhaging, they stated that they needed to leave the wound open in order to facilitate the drainage of residual fluid from the abscess, despite the fact that I had already paid for this service. When I inquired as to why he was not bandaged, I was told that he was being uncooperative. However, why wouldn't they bandage him while he was still under anesthesia? It would still be the prudent course of action. The staff member was extremely negligent and evasive about the situation and stated that this was a normal everyday occurrence. Experiencing a considerable amount of distress, I promptly sought medical attention for my dog at a pet emergency hospital. I contacted this hospital, and they instructed me to stop the bleeding if possible & bring him in for stitches because the manner he was left was not acceptable since the abscess was overhead, not under, then it should've been at least bandaged. Not to mention, I was told the medication given at Noble wasn't even the correct dosage for my dog's size so his healing wouldn't have progressed properly! Throughout the duration of the day, patients at the emergency medical facility, as well as a medical professional, made note of having been met with distressing narratives pertaining to this specific veterinary clinic. It is safe to state that this establishment is populated with unprofessional employees, therefore warranting caution and avoidance. read more

Horrible experience here. Our dog seemed lethargic with abnormal breathing so we took him to Noble Urgent Care to check him out and immediately was told by the Dr. they thought he had lymphoma because of swollen lymphnodes. So they did an X-ray to check and tested and he was negative for lymphoma, but the doctor told us he has an enlarged heart, has congestive heart failure, a heart murmur and referred us to a cardiologist. There seems to be a shortage of cardiologists in our area so we had to wait over a month to take him to the first available appointment. He finally got checked yesterday and every test they did regarding his heart came back normal. While we are happy he is ok, it was totally irresponsible of the doctor to tell us he might have cancer, then an enlarged heart, only to be told by a cardiologist that his heart is normal and healthy. The grief, worry and processing was a rollercoaster. Not to mention how much money we have spent for reassurance that our dog is healthy. I wouldn't take my pets back here. Very scary. read more
