Hello, I wanted to write a review because there is limited shared experience and feedback available regarding stem cell therapy. Our 5-year-old Bull Terrier was experiencing severe pain in her back legs, and Dr. B suggested a stem cell treatment plan. Naturally, we were fearful--both of the procedure and the cost. I researched extensively, trying to find reassurance and real experiences. Ultimately, we chose to trust Dr. B because of his knowledge and experience with this therapy. Watching your pet suffer is heartbreaking, especially when they can't tell you how much pain they're in. Dr. B helped us find comfort and confidence one step at a time. He guided us with patience, checked in every few weeks, and continually encouraged us to stay hopeful while remaining realistic. It has now been three months, and our dog is slowly but surely improving--truly one day at a time. She just had her 2nd stem cell injection. Horrible experience with this place. called to get a refill on my dog's pain meds. called repeatedly for about a week on updates just for the doctor to deny refill and to order examination and blood work. Last examination they did on my dog was basically looking at him across the room and then proceeded to charge me. This place feels like a money grab. Took my dog here to get foxtails out of his nose and then every 4-6 take him to get anal glands expressed. He's a 90lb pit bull and an amazing boy but I get so worried about the vet being scared of him so I'm always anxious to take him. The front desk lady named Brenda has a pit of her own and is SO good with him. Ever since he met her I've trusted her fully with him. I never thought I'd feel comfortable dropping him off at the vet knowing he has a loud bark and can scare people easily even though he's so sweet!!! HIGHLY recommend!! read more

Yeah don't go here, it's not worth the hassle. Took my cat in for his anxiety and got prescribed gabapentin. That was fine, the issue came when we had to get a refill. We called multiple times to ask if the refill went through and essentially had to chase them down for the refill. The vet initially prescribed 120mg liquid twice a day. We called to say that despite the prescription, our cat gets anxious and aggressive again when it wears off. For some reason after hearing this they decreased the dose to 100mg once a day. Then the next time we needed a refill we tried to ask for a second option because the gabapentin was upsetting my cat's stomach. The receptionist never got back to us. We had to call again to ask the same question to which she never answered. She ended up putting in another refill for our at at 100mg per day. We will be taking out cat elsewhere because this is ridiculous. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. B and the team at United Pet Hospital. I initially went to another vet because my dog, Luna, was suspected to have pyometra. However, when that vet told me they would remove her uterus the same way as a regular spay, it immediately raised a red flag. I knew that pyometra surgery is far more complex and requires much more care, which is why the price difference is so significant. Other places were quoting me anywhere from $4,000 to $6,000, while my previous vet was only charging $800--something that just didn't sit right with me. After reading some pretty alarming reviews, I decided to go to Dr. B instead, and I am so grateful I did. From the moment I walked into United Pet Hospital, Dr. B made sure I felt comfortable and reassured me that Luna would receive the proper care she needed. Not only was his pricing extremely reasonable, but he also went above and beyond in checking on Luna consistently after the procedure. During surgery, he found a mass in her uterus that we had no idea was there. He carefully explained everything to me and made sure I felt at ease when recommending that we send it for a biopsy. What stood out to me was that they made sure to get a picture of what was removed so they could effectively explain and elaborate on the procedure and what was found and removed during the procedure. On top of the excellent medical care, Dr. B and his staff showed true compassion. I was dealing with credit card fraud and couldn't pay the full amount upfront, and they kindly allowed me to split my payment into two, which was a huge relief. What truly touched me the most, though, was how warmly they welcomed me back after so long. A few years ago, I (unrightfully) got frustrated with the front desk staff for not picking up the phone during a fragile moment in my life. I felt so embarrassed about how I handled it, but despite that, Dr. B still remembered me and welcomed me back with open arms. That level of kindness and professionalism is rare, and I'm beyond grateful to have a vet I can fully trust with my girl. I really really want to LIKE United Pet Hospital since it's so close to my home, but they failed me every single time, except the initial visit when they first open. I took both my senior dog and 3yr old cat there ever since they opened, until this day, they still couldn't get my name and my partner's name right in the system to match our pets, even though I asked them to update many many times. My senior dog's been having diarrhea for a while, took her in on a Tuesday and we asked for blood test. The doctor office charges us $468 in total, then never got back to us!! our dog is getting better, so we patiently waited. The next Tuesday we decided to call back, they still have no answer and asked us to call back again on Wednesday. At this point we're still waiting for the blood test, I can't Imagine if my dog's symptoms get worse. Seriously do not take your pets here!!! read more

Came here today for the first time and I had a pleasant experience. I had been wanting to find a new vet for a while and I finally made the move and glad I did. First impressions are everything and I was pleasantly impressed when I walked into a welcoming staff and a clean lobby. The wait time was also reasonable which was a huge plus! Once we were in the exam room the Dr came in and did a full exam on my Kobe. Unlike the previous vet that just looked at him and barely felt him, but was quick to give a "diagnosis". The process to provide a quote on the suggested treatment was similar to my old vet. What I did appreciate is that they don't try to oversell and they don't pressure you do anything. I would say the only downside is that I asked if they send reminders when vaccines are due and they don't seem to do so, so I'll have to monitor that myself and set up calendar reminders . I have only been there once but they already been so helpful! I brought in a very sick stray kitten and United Pet Hospital was the only provider that was able to treat the kitten right away. All other vets turned me down Saying I needed to take the kitten to an emergency vet. The vet that saw him was very thorough, treated the kitten for only what he needed and didnt they to add on extra services and the prices were reasonable. I took my 10 year old boy in today for the first time at United Pet Hospital and the staff and care was amazing. Koda has seen a few vets over the last 10 years and everytime we always get a weird reaction from the vets where it seems like they're judgey and not willing to actually be helpful because of his breed. The staff at United were so welcoming, so thorough and also explained so much in a way that wasn't condescending or rude. The vet explained all different options and possible outcomes, I really enjoyed the experience they provided. I had to explore end of life options and they were unbelievably sweet and compassionate. I got a new puppy and needed to get her in for vaccinations right away. I called around and other places had such long wait times and were a little pricier, so United was the best fit for us. We were able to get a same-day appointment which was amazing! The lobby is clean and bright. There were many clients coming in and out. The doctor introduced himself and after that the techs and front desk takes care of the rest. The doc also gave me his overall evaluation of my pup, which was good and it made me feel confident to bring my pet back there. I haven't owned a pet in 6 years so the difference is I wasn't able to accompany the dog to the back, but after talking to others, it seems to be common practice. So far, so good! read more

Unfortunately, I had to put her down after all our efforts to save her. We all tried so hard for the last few months but it was just too much for her at 13, just one week shy of her 14th birthday. The kindness of the people who work there is overwhelming, especially when your heart hurts so much. The amazing person at the desk said "I know you're losing your friend" and it's just so true. I wanted to update my review to say this is now my permanent vet. The staff here is great and worked with me to help keep my cat as healthy and comfortable as possible. She will probably never fully recover, she either has IBD or lymphoma so she will require special food and possibly medication the rest of her life, but they helped me figure out what was wrong with her even though I couldn't afford some of the more expensive testing. I'm so grateful to United Pet hospital for helping me get my kitty back to her normal self. When I have questions, they are responsive and get back to me with answers. When I first brought her in, I thought I might have to put her down... I could tell that the doctor genuinely cared about the life of my cat when he said no no no ... we will figure this out, It's not time for that yet. My kitty may die because of this illness, but thanks to United pet Hospital I know I'll be able to get as much time with her as possible. We had to take our 12 year old cat who was very sick to be checked out and the staff and Dr. Bhullar were very passionate, caring and professional. I gave myself time to think over and process my experience to see if I wanted to write a review for United Pet Hospital, and then today my husband found a left behind stitch in our cat from them and at this point I'm feeling too fed up. We took our cat in to have a mass removed. We felt hopeful and were quoted a fair price. While in the waiting room, we met another customer who talked highly of the vet so again we felt optimistic. My husband brought our cat home from surgery and immediately, we noticed that one of his stitches had come open. It's really traumatizing seeing an open wound like that. The vet was considerate and had us come back right away to fix the stitch. While my husband was picking up our cat, the receptionist told him that our cat was really mean. I understand that it's a small thing and she might have meant it to be a joke, but in an already stressful situation (for us and especially our cat) it was an unnecessary comment that wasn't helpful at all. Again, as mentioned, today my husband found a stitch in our cat that had been left behind from his surgery. Independently these instances were not egregious but looking at them all together it comes across as careless. While this vet is not the worst by any means, it is not a place that I feel comfortable taking our pets to in the future. Positives to note: the waiting room is clean, the doctor gave me a call to check in after we had to bring our cat back to get the stitch fixed, prices are fair. read more

We visited Mr. Bhullar, in February of 2022, for teeth cleaning. After the initial visit, we dropped our 25 lb Jack-Rusell, "Bishop" off for the full day to be anesthetized teeth cleaned. Lily knows Bruno/Mico since 2 months old. 8/8/23 Bruno had a right back leg with a fractured. The fees are very reasonable x-ray and Doctor fees, they explain the procedure. With the owner proper caring and placing a cast, Bruno leg healed fast within 2 weeks. Dr. Bhullar himself called me when he got the X-ray result and explain my next step and seeing Bruno the next day. And the cast was in place. Today Bruno is all healed, no pain and not limping. Came here through our rescue to get our dog neutered and first set of vaccines. Doctor used removable stitches and thought it was odd as our other pup got dissolvable stitches at the SPCA. We made his follow up appointment same day as his surgery for 2 weeks from then. Come the follow up appointment we arrive and the staff is nowhere to be found & no one is answering the phone. No one called to confirm or reschedule the appointment either. An hour later still no answer. We find out from our rescue that the vet actually closed a day prior due to staff contracting covid. WHERE WAS OUR PHONE CALL TO RESCHEDULE THIS APPT?? We drove over an hour away to make this appointment and missed a whole work day. Will have to end up taking him to our local vet to finish this crap vets work. Also, while calling and banging on the door for an hour I walked the premises to look in their back office and noticed a box of COORS LIGHT BEER sitting there. I had an emergency situation, well what I thought was an emergency ( overprotective dog mom problems) we found a tick on her after a hike and they had a same day appointment which was really helpful. The visit was kinda pricey because of the tests, preventatives, and shots I need to get her, however I'd spend anything for my little Luna! Plus she loved going here. She was treated very well from start to finish. The first person that came out to get her was really nice and totally distracted her as she walked into see the vet. Everyone was well trained and knew the pricing. This visit was super quick and all I had to do was wait in my car. Only thing I would have done different is look at this yelp page earlier cause I would have seen the 50% off vet visit and save a little bit on this visit. I was in search of a vet before we even got our new puppy. I didn't seem to find any that I was pleased with, until I found United Pet Hospital. Their prices are beyond reasonable, and the staff is so friendly. I was able to schedule an exam and shots on a Saturday. I was in and out within the hour. Everything was stress free! The only thing I wish I could do, is go inside the exam room with my pup, but I wholeheartedly trust the vets and staff.
