This place is absolute Trash!! I'm a nice guy, I gave them many many chances over the years. Let's just say, in the past 6-7 years, I've consistently had to complain about them never/hardly showing up. As of right now, they are currently 5 weeks behind! On top of this, the pool guy is a liar. One time, I took a picture of his sign off sheet and sent it to the owner. 1 day later, the pool guy came back and wrote in a bunch of dates as if he did them. Good thing I took a pic the day before he did this! I even installed Motion-activated Ring cameras and told the owner. Still, nothing has changed. I just came from their location, of course the owner Dale wasn't around. I'm fed up! I warned them I will be taking further action. The only friendly worker there, Mary, agreed with with me and supports the decision. When your own employees know you are wrong, fix your sh*t. read more

I am writing about the pool construction and not the store. We had Titan do our pool almost 5 yrs ago. For the last 5 years we have been blown off by Dale the owner regarding all the mistakes that were made concerning poor workmanship and sub-standard quality of products ... We have been so sick with disappointment that we really don't want to entertain in our backyard. Dale agreed with fixing everything that was done wrong.... but he never will follow up with doing the work. The customer service is sub zero! Our entire deck and pool coping were not the colors we chose. Our coping was installed before the area was properly dried and sealed causing white deposits to form on top of the brown coping. After restaining, the same ugly white spots seep thru. The only way to fix this according to experts on concrete coping is to replace the coping. Moisture continues to cause these white stains. The pool deck is not all the same color and it was never the color we selected. The pool lining was supposed to be a beautiful Caribbean blue made of a quartz material. The color began to fade the first year and streaks began showing where the material settled at the bottom of the pool and spa. Literally every hard surface we selected was the wrong color and applied incorrectly causing solid colors to look not thoroughly mixed. We spent a LOT of money to get the pool of our dreams... It's been an expensive and disappointing journey. Dale ignores our requests to fix things. He says he will get it fixed.... then ghosts us. He basically does not want to spend the money to make things right. He's not a man of his word. We have lost all hope to ever get this fixed by Titan. I have heard the same story from other people... that whatever the problem they have, if it costs Dale money... he will blow u off with false promises. Eventually he will never contact you again.... It was the worst experience we ever had with a contractor and will cost us thousands to fix ourselves. read more

Two years ago I was in need of a pool service. I called Titan Pools and spoke with a woman named Mary. She took all my info and promised to call me back the next day with the name of a Technician who could service our pool. I never received a call back, so I hired another service. Two years later I am looking for another pool cleaning service and decided to give Titan another chance, thinking that Mary was just a flakey employee and, hopefully might now be gone. Lo and behold, the same Mary answered the phone and again "promised" to call me back the next day with the name of a Technician. Yet again, NO CALL BACK. What the hell? Is Mary purposely doing this? Why do they keep her? Do they just not need any more customers? If so, just say so! You better believe I will NEVER be giving them a third chance! read more

We moved to the neighborhood since May 2017 and had the pool upgraded and service by a company in Anaheim. Our neighbor used and recommended Titan Pools store in Anaheim Hills but I did not consider it until last October when I decided to take care of the pool myself and I am glad to use their service since! I've used Titan Pools for more than 10 years. Dale was great and so was Mary. However over the last couple of years their service has gone downhill. As others have said, they never return phone calls. I had a problem where my yard drain system backed up into my pool and filled it with mud. I called and told them I wanted an external pump brought in to vacuum out the pool (which they did for me to get the ash out after the Freeway Complex fire). I had just cleaned my filter and didn't want to immediately clog it. It took them 10 days to show up. Then, instead of using an external pump as I had requested, their pool tech turned on my pump and immediately clogged the filter. Dale apologized, said he would talk to the tech,... and never got back to me. The pool tech never knocked on our door to let us know he was there. Had he done this, there wouldn't have been a problem. He just walked into the pool yard and did exactly what he was not supposed to do. This is just one instance. I gave them several chances over two years, and finally had to give up. It's strange when you have a contractor like this, that you've used for years and really like, but then you have to stop using them Check out the reviews. Everybody is happy with the store. I would refrain from reviewing a service and giving them high marks after only speaking with them. Reviews should be based on performance - Not Lip service. While Titan seems to get the job done eventually, their Customer service and response pattern is less than timely and substandard. So as long as you have time to spend on the phone trying to get to them IF you have a problem, or have time to wait for them to get back to you, they are fully satisfactory. The only real issue we had was having a service rep put chlorine in our salt water pool. read more

Mary at Titan is nice enough but nice does not get my pool serviced. We called and emailed a number of time to get pricing on servicing our pool but we did not receive any calls or response to our emails other than they were very busy and would get to us in a few days. They never did. We are now having to find pool service somewhere else and mind you we have been faithful paying customers for about 7 - 8 years. So unless you have time for apologizes why they can't answer your call, do yourself a favor and pass on Titan pools - not worth the headache. Completely disappointed! read more

This is a really nice store with very helpful staff. However, to get service on your pool is virtually impossible. I tried last year, someone came out to my house, gave me a price, I said I want to proceed and nothing was followed through. Again, I went this year to the store, set up an appointment wanting a salt system, got a phone call back. After giving me a price for a salt system, I said I wanted to proceed and nothing was followed through again. Rediculous. The stars are for the staff at the store and the store. A pleasure to deal with a company that is honest in business. They have never tried to oversell and have been honest in every business deal. Walked in thinking I needed several parts replaced on my pool sweep. They inspected it and found all it needed was disassembly and a part dislodged that had made its way in. I'd seen this little store on other visits to the shopping center but didn't think of them when I became a pool owner--I went to Leslie instead. What a mistake that was. At the latter, I was upsold each visit and then given the cold shoulder when I dared to return something. But then I remembered Titan. The staff at Titan that helped me (Kevin and Sam) were friendly and gave me great advice. I was never pressured to buy anything even though they tested my water and spent a lot of time with me. I found their prices fair. I expected them to be higher being a small store but that wasn't true. It's nice supporting an independent business vs a corporate chain. They have great stores as neighbors, too: Mothers, Yogurtland (my reward for doing my own pool service), and Crown Ace Hardware. read more

We have had Titan Pool Services for several years. They have done an adequate job, but we have had some problems lately with their technician. He has not been doing a thorough job, and sometimes talks on the phone constantly while cleaning the pool. Recently he did not clean the skimmers, and they have split from the amount of debris in them. We discovered that he has tried to hold them together with tie wraps. Very unsatisfied! read more

I have been a long time client, but had to cancel my service today because they are unreliable and lack follow through. There have been issues over the years, but nothing that caused me to look for another service provider. The final straw, however, was my request for service on the pool heater. I needed it fixed before a pool party I was having on July 4. I called a week in advance, explained my need and timeline, and they confirmed it would be no problem. When they had not come 2 days before the 4th, I called to check on the status. I was assured that I was on their service schedule for the next day. When I arrived home from work the following day, it was not fixed, and it was obvious no one came to even look at it. I called and left a message, knowing that they were likely closed for the holiday, but requested the courtesy of a call back to understand what happened. I never received a follow up call. And, they never showed up for weekly service the following week. Even when I called to cancel my service, there was no inquiry about why or concern that they were losing a regular customer. I am really disappointed by the lack of customer service and follow through after being a customer for so long. read more

I was looking for a specific part that Leslie's didn't have and I was ready to order from Amazon with an $8 shipping, but Titan's saved the day! I was surprised they carried it when I called. The female was very friendly and asked for my name so she could leave it at the front for me. Upon arrival, a young man immediately asked me if he could help me find something and I replied that I had something on hold. He knew exactly what I was referring to. After my search last February I found this company and discussed my need to have the pool completely redone and all new equipment installed. The work started and ended mostly complete and fully paid for. They did not finish the startup process, they did not finish the equipment install properly, they did not provide the proper paperwork to get the SCE or SoCalGas rebates. After a few phone calls and a lengthly letter outlining the many issues Dale called and came and looked at the project and agreed it was not completed properly and then quietly went away. Again phone calls unanswered, voice mail unanswered, email unanswered. The project is still not complete 15 months later and no effort on their part to even try to make things right. The only choice I have is legal action to get money back. read more

I live in Anaheim Hills and had a pool cleaning floor unit break that I purchased here a few years ago. They offered to contact the company Rep who promptly replaced my broken unit for free. They went above and beyond even though my return window had passed but it was the right thing to do since it appeared my unit was defective from the start but I didn't realize it. I will be a customer for life after service like that! I feel that I can trust this business and it goes to show that a small time and service investment up front will lay dividends over the long run since I plan on referring my friends and family here as well. Don't waste your time with this pool store. We wanted to support a local business, but were extremely disappointed with the service. They do not return calls, don't show for service appointments, and offer very little in terms of customer service. They completely wasted 2 weeks of my time and failed to gain any of my future business. What a disappointing experience. read more

I wish i can give them zero stars. I was buying a house with a pool and during escrow i had to do some inspections on the house before we close so we can figure out what's wrong and sort it out with the seller. I looked up some places on google and decided to go with titan pool for inspecting the pool before i close escrow. After the inspection, i got a report saying that the pool heater is working fine but there was some minor issues that don't cost a lot to fix. After I closed escrow I moved into the house and I decided to turn on the pool heater because I had some people over and it wouldn't heat up. So i called another company the following day to check what's the problem, the POOL HEATER WAS NOT WORKING. It doesn't tuen on. So now it's going to cost me almost $4,000 because of that inspector from titan pool that doesn't know what he'a doing. They charged me 175$ for the "inspection". These guys shouldn't be in business. Don't ever call them for inspection at all. I dont recommend them read more
