You can't go food shopping on an empty stomach so I knew I needed a snack before going into Costco, otherwise we all know how dangerous that can be. I love a good pan de bono so as soon as I saw the word "Colombia" my mouth started salivating for it. I went in and the restaurant was nice and lively - it was a Sunday afternoon - and I headed straight to the bakery area. They had so many choices but my heart was set on one thing and one thing only: pan de bono. I ordered a couple and decided to also give the guava and cheese empanada a try. YUMMMMMMMMMMM! I will say it's not my favorite pan de bono in the universe and I'm sure when they're freshly out the oven it's a fully different experience but it hit the spot and my pan de bono craving was satisfied. Food was ok, but the service was horrible. I stood at the check in counter and was ignored, I went to the bar and sat down and was ignored. I should have walked out, but I flagged someone and got a table and a menu. Other people walked in and were promptly helped and their orders were taken before mine. When it came time to pay, the server asked me if I was done...I said yes and my table was cleared. I had to get up from the table and flag someone down to pay as my server and others were assisting others who just walked in. My credit card has now been charged 3 times for duplicate amounts which I will dispute. It is clearly an ethnic Spanish speaking community...the menu was only in Spanish as well. Delicious food and a really nice spot to eat and have a drink. The sangria was okay, but the caipirinha was delicious. The appetizers were so good I could've easily ordered three more empanadas they were out of cheese though :( ! So we had carne. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the rice and beans were amazing. Service was great, and I loved the decor and seating everything felt very thoughtfully put together. One small note: it would be nice to see some variety in the TV channels, as all the TVs were on the same documentary. Overall, a great experience. My husband and I had such a great experience at Noches de Colombia! The food and drinks were all 10/10. We tried the pina colada and the guanabana smoothie both were very tasty. For dinner I ordered the Lomo salteado which I enjoyed. The portions are huge so you will have more than enough to take home. The restaurant is located in downtown Port Chester close by a lot of shopping centers, parking, and the train. Would definitely stop by again when I'm in the area. read more

I've went here multiple times with my family and this time around the food was TERRIBLE. The food quality was awful the pechuga marinada with the shrimps imagine the meat being like a big fat piece of rubber and the white cream sauce being hysterically cold upon arrival. The rice was so hard and the beans had this very burnt and bitter after taste. IT WAS DISGUSTING. I would never come back again. I've been to Noche De Colombia a few times recently, and I have to say--the weekend experience is on a whole different level. I came in today (Saturday May 2025) more for a drink and the atmosphere than the food, though I did have the wings. What stood out the most was the bartender on Saturday night. Despite how busy the place was (absolutely packed and music booming), she was attentive, witty, personable, and clearly cared about the guests. She made eye contact, acknowledged you with a smile, and checked in even when things were hectic. She went above and beyond --exactly what you'd hope for in a bartender. Now contrast that with my weekday visits: I came twice during the week, and the bartender on those days was the opposite--robotic, emotionally distant, and disengaged. Even though the weekday crowd was much smaller, the service felt indifferent. she slightly improved on my second visit, but still nothing like the energy and professionalism I experienced this weekend. Honestly, it makes me wonder if the weekday bartender is just selective with who she engages. Whatever the case, the weekend bartender is the kind of person you put in during the final inning of the playoffs--she's the closer. Because of her, I'll absolutely be back on weekends. Atmosphere: Loud, high-energy, and festive on weekends--just the way I like it. The music is vibrant and the crowd is lively. Final thought: If you're planning to sit at the bar, skip the weekdays. They especially tend to overcharge at the bakery side, and the receipt doesn't clearly show the details of what you ordered -- that's how they take advantage. We had such an awesome experience after church. My husband and in laws had an incredible time. Jenny was such a helpful and kind waitress, always so attentive and helpful. We each had a different flavor lemonade-- passion fruit, cherry, and coco. The music was a vibe and the throwback salsa hits kept us singing and excited. Overall a great experience, with great food. So I ordered the PDQ and the milk bread but got 2 PDQ. I'd never had it before and omg you have to try it. The flavor is similar to those ritz crackers with cheese in the middle, but a bit sweeter. Came in for take out. When we arrived, we weren't greeted at the door so we walked in. As we walked in a young lady approached and we said we were here for takeout. She then went back to a booth where she was sitting in in the rear by the bar. The server taking our order was courteous. She sat us at a large table by the door to wait for our order. While we waited, a patron walked in alone and waited at the front to be seated for almost as long as we waited for our order while the gal who was supposed to be working the front finished her cheery phone conversation. The restaurant wasn't too crowded. A lot of the staff seemed to have a solid amount of time to chit chat with one another save for the lads bringing out the food. Now the food... We ordered some bakery items that tasted stale and were cold despite being in what appeared to be a heated showcase. Upon getting home to serve our chicken and rice, I found it to have a sloppy goulash consistency. The side of patacones were hard enough to use as a foundation brick replacement and the beans seemed as if they were dumped in out of the can with minimal seasoning. Two stars only because the young lady who took our order was courteous. I wouldn't come back. I only ate the food because I was hungry and had already spent my hard earned money on it. One of my biggest peeves is spending good money on bad food. I suppose Englewood is better, but it seems this joint has lost the love for the art of cuisine. Ambiance was average. Some music.
