Delicious! The bakery items are a homerun. It's the only place in town where I've found almojabana, a cheese bread, which they do a fantastic job at preparing. Their other items (pandebono, pan de queso, etc.) are also great. We have also ordered empanadas de carne and chicharron to take home and eat. The empanadas were great and flavorful, especially if you put some of the picante salsa on top. The chicharron was good, but it was a bit difficult to chew (the skin, especially, was really hard). Not sure if this would be different if you got it fresh in the restaurant vs. driving it home as take-out. In summary, a great place to get a delicious coffee and a bakery treat! read more

They close at seven and the woman at the counter tells me that she can't serve me because she's already pre-cleaned the store so she can get out of work on time she pre-cleans the juice machines in the coffee machines yet she'll serve a Spanish person, but not an American. Great place to grab a coffee with pandebono with my kids on a Sunday or lunch and delivery for when not in the mood for cooking. My daughter love the pan con queso. We tried the cheese empanada and it was a bit bitter. The food is decent. Not the best colombian food out there but definately worth a try. I mainly come here for the coffee and bakery on Sundays. I called to order soup of the day and I asked the price. When I arrived the total was different than I thought it should be. I paid with credit card so I couldn't see the detailed receipt. I asked for the receipt and noticed I was charged for an item I did not ask/receive. They said it was voided but it wasn't. 1- Soup was Ok but very I'm upset because I was told the soup comes with avocado, banana & white rice. I never got the avocado. 2- I ordered a beef and a chicken empanada. They packed together and I had no clue which was beef or chicken until I opened. 3- Price is not cheap and not worthy for the service received. If I noticed the overcharged I would not add a tip to the total of the bill. I was at this place few times before I believe it was called Hornitos - no sure if is under new management now. Here's the good and the bad about this place. The good: --There's sanitizer on all of the tables. --The food was very tasty. --The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. --The baked goods are very good. (I had a cheeseball and an empanada.) The bad: --The menu doesn't have prices, and when you ask for the price or more info about an item, no one there speaks english. The person who was called over to help me knew more english than the person before her, but still not enough. It was still a struggle to understand. --The prices are kinda steep! I paid $27 for a bowl of soup that had 5 shrimp, and half of a blue crab. There were other seafood items in there, but the crab and shrimp were clearly the most expensive. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious, but just not worth the money. --While there were shrimp and crab in the soup, it was also packed with this low quality imitation crab meat. It literally had the consistency of biting into jello or a piece of Bubblicious bubble gum. Total fail for such a flavorful meal. Based on the food, I would return, but based on the price, I can't see myself going back. I can go eat a steak at Ruth's Chris down the street for that same price. Matter of fact, Golden Krust is right across the street, and I can get a patty from there that is double the size for the same price I paid for an empanada at this place. read more

Amazing hidden gem, it's a simple place with very authentic tasty Colombian food, the kind of place you go today and you wanna go back the next day, that's what I did! My favorite was the Bandeja Paisa, get the one with Churrasco! The meat is so good, it's huge! Very tasty and typical Colombian foods. I had the 'bandeja paisa' - a huge portion of grilled meat, sausage, fried pork skin, arepa, avocado, rice, beans, fried egg - all delicious. The ladies who serve are super friendly and all smiles - I have to say there is no culture more friendly than Colombian - formal, kind, happy and truly want you to have a great time at their restaurant. OVERPRICED restaurant for the food and service. My boyfriend and I went to eat frijoles on a Wednesday and we were overly excited because we LovED sabrositos. Sadly, they were OLD frijoles (trasnochados) and paid a high price for them because the food here is not cheap. Also, Menu needs to be updated so people get what they order and pay. read more
