As I'm watching to see who would finish first I was hoping Duke would finish first because I saw how precise he was. My hair is somewhat finicky so it takes a special touch. Too short, it spikes up and looks terrible, too long, it only lasts about a week. As luck would have it, Duke freed up and called me over. He did an amazing job. Full barber treatment with a straight razor, hot towel, the whole 9 yards which you would expect from a real Barber. Westpark Barbershop lives up to the expectations. I made an appointment with Hanna, the shop owner and a licensed barber. Hanna is an expert and that is clear from the minute he gets going with your appointment. He asked some detailed questions about how I like to get my hair cut, and when I was not quite sure what I wanted, he walked me through some options. Hanna is really committed to running a quality business. During our chat he told me he only hired licensed barbers because he wants experts working in everyone's hair. Unlike chain locations, he treats his employees well and that is why he has low turnover with his barbers. That is important for me since I don't like it when I have to get my hair cut by a different person every three months.
