Westpark Barbershop lives up to the expectations. I made an appointment with Hanna, the shop owner and a licensed barber. Hanna is an expert and that is clear from the minute he gets going with your appointment. He asked some detailed questions about how I like to get my hair cut, and when I was not quite sure what I wanted, he walked me through some options. Hanna is really committed to running a quality business. During our chat he told me he only hired licensed barbers because he wants experts working in everyone's hair. Unlike chain locations, he treats his employees well and that is why he has low turnover with his barbers. That is important for me since I don't like it when I have to get my hair cut by a different person every three months. All I need was a quick zero on the sides and two on top, beard trim and shape, nothing more and nothing less. No need for a fancy shop that charges an arm and a leg. A classic, old school type barber shop and this was it. Great classic tin signs all over, tons of respect for our first responders, and lots of local and national sports love. I came in as a first timer on a rainy Friday morning as soon as their shop opened.
