I found out about Noemi Nails when I had my hair done by Noemi. Since I saw that they had nail techs/nail salons, I made it a point to come back for my nails to be done by them. I was so stressed out one day because I had an event to go to but my nails weren't done. I called Noemi and she gave me Tammy's number to call/text to set up an appointment. Tammy agreed to see me later that day. I got there @ 3:35-3:40pm but she was doing someone else's nails. And then while attending to me (after the other lady), she got another call about someone wanting to refill and will be there in about 15mins I guess (around 4:15). She then asked the lady on the phone to come in at 4:30pm instead. The lady came in so she asked me if it's okay for her to do hers first since it'll be quick. I said yes because I felt like it was rude to say no. The lady that was doing my pedicure had done scrubs and stuff already and by the time she was done was the only time Tammy came back to do my nails. She thanked me for waiting and said that because I waited for so long, she will waive the removal fee (I had dipping powder nails done prior). After 2-3 weeks, I came back for a refill and I already had an appointment set up. When I got there (FYI I came from the Valley that time so I drove more than an hour to get there), she was doing another lady's nails and one was waiting. She asked me if I could wait for her to finish the one that she's doing and the other lady's who is waiting, I told her no and she told the lady (who was waiting) to come back 30mins later since she didn't have an appointment. Both scenarios would leave me feeling like Tammy was rushing and so aggressive with removing my nails or whatever. She and the other lady, who did my pedi, were really nice. Albeit, Tammy is a little aggressive on her process. I would appreciate it if she would be a little gentle next time. All that aside, Tammy is really good with acrylics. Give them a try! This place looks old but it's clean, they are cheaper than other places (I think), and the ladies are nice but be ready to wait as they tend to overbook and/or accept walk-ins.

I've come in several times for a pedicure. I've even brought my bf for a pedicure. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes. Weekends may get busy but you can always call ahead to reserve a time slot with either Tammy or Linda. Both are nice ladies. They don't speak much English but they try. The space is shared with hair stylists and hair threading in the back. So you can get full service if you schedule it right. Prices are average. They accept credit cards. Bonus: They have massage chairs and a loyalty stamp card which gifts you $5 off after 5 services (minimum $12 service).

Linda was my awesome nail tech. Small mom and pop business, which i support all the way! Linda was so friendly and always smiling during her entire service regardless of our language barriee. Bless nail techs that keep their back and heads bowed all day picking at our nasty toe jams while reathing in the acrylic dust. I will be kming back and recommend everyone to come. Regular pedicure w scrub and clear top polish over color all for $17. read more

I had acrylic nails with regular polish done at my regular nail salon which is a little far from where I stay. I usually visit this salon for threading at the back which I love the lady who does my brows but never for my nails. I wanted to take my nails out but didn't feel like driving the extra miles so I come here. I told the lady who was taking my nails off that I don't want my regular nails to be any shorter than what I come in with( p.s I have been growing my nails for the pass months and was very happy with the outcome). She told me that doing that will require more time and waste of supplies for her. Long story short she ends up doing the opposite of what I asked and even managed to rip my nail on two fingers which you can see on the image. No apologies whatsoever even tho she could see I was in pain. I still have sticky products on my fingers prior to leaving and I asked if she can take it off she applied some alcohol and send me on my way saying it will go away eventually. She wasn't gentle and I didn't feel as the customer my needs were met or even understood. I will come here as usual for my brows but for my nails never again. read more

Ericka is always in such a happy mood! I recently got my full set from her and they came out lovely! She definitely knows what she's doing. A week later I accidentally hurt my finger and my nail broke, I called Noemi to see if Ericka could fix if, and she said "of course!" I came in and was a little late, but she still took me in! It was quick and easy and she was really nice about it. I brought my friend with me to wait and she was so nice to her also, offered her drinks and candy lol. I just love how welcoming and how great of a manicurist she is , must go to her! She also has glitter acrylics and i'm excited to get that my next set! read more

Thought I'd try a new salon since my usual nail tech is away on vacation and I wanted to stay local. Walking in the nail salon is 2 stations and 2 pedi stations, so it's part of a bigger salon. The woman who did my nails didn't really seem confident in her work, almost as if she was just starting. The woman who did my pedi was a bit more experienced it seems. Kinda gross but they tossed the contents of the water bowl into the foot spa with my nail clippings inside. So while my feet were in soaking I could feel my nails around me. Nails came out nice looking but I don't think I will be coming back here. Staff was friendly though! read more

Sadly it wasn't the best experience. Way too expensive for what the service was and lady's were rude. Looking at the reviews online I said "okay let's give it a try" but once I was there I came to realize that these were reviews done by staff not customers. Didn't let my daughter pick a color and kept telling her to pick something different, until I told her that that's what my daughter wants and to do that color, forced us to get designs even though we kept saying "no thank you" and charged us 5 for each design (all 4) we didn't want, put extremely hot water in the pedicure bowl and nearly burned me, chairs are extremely uncomfortable & TO TOP IT OFF, I didn't tip, but checked my bank statement and they charged me as if I did tip, had to call the bank and get my money back that NAOMIS STOLE FROM ME. They followed us out the door begging for a yelp review which was so awkward. If they want a tip and a great review so bad that they have to write it in themselves and follow me to my car, then maybe give service good enough for a tip and a review. Do not go here. read more

I've been consistently coming to Friendly Nails for the last few years. All of the nail techs are great! I request for Cici when I want to do cat-eye or more simple gel manicures. If I want more artsy designs, I'll usually request for Ella or Karen. Gel manis are still $45, with full cat-eye adding an additional $15. Hand drawn art design nails may add between $4-6 per nail, depending on the design; while if you're okay with stickers, it may be $2-3/each. More intricate nail designs will require more time & cost more depending on what it is -- so I would inform them if this is something you want to do so they can allot the right amount of time for your booking. I typically spend about 1.5-2 hours to get my nails done (including removing the previous months' nails, nail trimming, shaping, cuticles, etc.) As stated before: Easy parking in the First St. structure behind the shop. Restroom available in the back of the store & always clean. They also do have bottled water, if needed.

Specifically, the pedicure did not include the essential steps of a foot scrub, a foot massage, or cuticle cleaning. These are standard components of the service I paid for, and their omission is why I felt the experience was unsatisfactory. Furthermore, my comments regarding the tip were not a reflection of a personal preference, but rather a reaction to the staff's persistent pressure. When service falls short of the expected standard, I believe a customer should be able to decline a gratuity without being pressured by staff to justify that decision. My goal in sharing this review was simply to provide honest feedback regarding my experience, and I stand by the account I provided.

Sadly, Superco and Ocean Star are both gone, but rising from the ashes is a bunch of fun stuff, like Smoking Tiger and this jumbo-sized nail salon next door, Magical Nails. Nothing too magical about it, but this busy salon has about 10,000 polish shades to choose from, and a printed menu with prices so you know what you're getting and how much it will be. All the salon chairs have the back massage function which kills two birds with one stone. Easy parking right in front, walk-ins welcome, and no waiting for your mani-pedi. I stuck my nose in to have a look, and was getting beautified just a few moments later. Minus one star for some unnecessary upselling, and a sour face from the greeter when I declined. But a free bottle of water cheered me up. Would I go back? Yes.

I booked with Trulycure when I was on a hiatus with my regular nail place. I opted for a cat eye effect on my nails since he mentioned there is a promotion at the time. I thought Trulycure is somewhere I want to go back to but after reflecting on my experience of waiting without any communication they were going to be tardy, pedicure gal cutting my toe nails oddly to the point where my big toe nail is growing out not the way I like and the cat eye not being a cat eye (looks like a layer of glitter polish applied), I was completely ready to go back to my usual place.

I believe your experience here really depends on the nail tech you get. While my nail artist was very nice, she unfortunately did not have the skill level needed for the set I requested. Before booking, I specifically asked whether the salon could recreate the design I wanted and sent a reference photo. The person who confirmed my appointment assured me they could do it exactly as pictured. The appointment ended up taking over two hours for what I consider a fairly simple set. There were a lot of issues throughout the process--uneven shaping, multiple attempts at recreating the design, and it was clear my nail artist was struggling. I was so unhappy with one of the designs that I eventually just asked her to leave it as is because I didn't want her to keep redoing it. She also told me that my fingers were different sizes on each hand, so she used different extension sizes, which made the overall set look noticeably uneven. Each finger was an additional $5. I've had my nails done many times before and have never had this happen. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, especially because my nail artist was kind and tried her best. But I left disappointed, and I think the salon should be more transparent about whether a specific nail tech can actually execute the designs they promise to recreate. I'll attach photos below of the inspo and my final set so others can decide for themselves. It was not terrible, but when specifically asking for a design and willing to pay $100 for the set I expect it to be great/amazing.

Noemi Nails is the place that I love to keep going back to! I love love love how my lashes turned out! Cindy has such an amazing talent and patience when working on my lashes. It's amazing talking with her and recognizing her love and wisdom on her work. I told her what I wanted and she exceeded far beyond my expectations. She even worked with the shape of my eyes and gave me the lift and volume that my eyes looked best in. It's truly amazing how much effort and love she puts into her work. Plus she's sweet overall and fun to talk to. I'm picky with my lashes because that's the number one thing on my face but Cindy proved herself. I'm delighted with the friendly service that I received here. I made an appointment just the night before and received an early appointment the next morning which was great. They were ready for me when I arrived. I was in town for my mom's funeral so obviously I had a lot of things to do and also it was an emotional time. It was great to be pampered by the ladies giving me a great mani and pedi. I'm writing this review 10 days later and my mani still looks great! I had forgotten to pack a curling iron and Noemi was so sweet to curl my hair while I waited for my fingers and toes to dry.
