It's really disappointing to see how much this place has declined over time. Saturday nights used…read moreto be packed and lively, but now there were only a few tables occupied, which unfortunately reflects the overall experience we had. We ordered one of the restaurant's signature and more expensive dishes, the Thaiger Smile, which has always been a favorite of ours. In the past, the beef was tender and flavorful, but this time it was extremely dry and overcooked, almost like beef jerky. The papaya salad was also overwhelmingly salty. Overall, the food quality was far below what we had come to expect. The service itself was good, although not quite at the level you would expect from a restaurant positioning itself as "high-end." What was also surprising was the additional 5% kitchen fee added to the bill, on top of the suggested 18-25% tip prompts during checkout. Supporting kitchen staff is important, but that responsibility should ultimately fall on ownership rather than being passed directly to customers through multiple added charges. Overall, the experience was very disappointing, and unfortunately we don't see ourselves returning. It also appeared there was no manager present on the floor during service, which only added to the feeling that standards have slipped considerably.

The mix of spice and lime elevated the coconut broth. I like that I was able to choose the spice level. The Tom Kha was served as a soup only which I was able to finish on my own. This could easily be a shareable dish if served with rice or if looking to kick up the comfort-food level a notch. Hey Bangkok! is clean, with plenty of seating, and the employees were kind and friendly. They checked on me several times to ensure I was comfortable and had all I needed to enjoy my meal. I would love to come back to try their other dishes when I'm in the neighborhood.

Our server pay attention to details & gave very prompt service. My boyfriend eat Thai hot & he compliment that they actually cook Thai hot for his pad krapow & he absolutely enjoy his dish. I ordered chicken & rice and I think it is very good portion for $ & very tasty as well. I deducted one star because I wishes they have more seasonal menu rotation, so I can try something new when I come visit here. The menu is pretty limited in my view. I want Pork congee or Khao khuk kapi in the rotation menu. Our go to spot when we visited Denver Botanical garden :)

I ordered takeout, and before I even got to the food, the customer service stood out. The woman at the front, who I think may be the owner, was so kind and funny. She even walked my bag out from behind the counter to hand it to me personally and sent me off with so much warmth. Small gesture, but it honestly made the experience memorable. Now the food...wow. The Jalapeño Crab Cheese Wontons were packed with flavor and came with the perfect sweet/spicy dipping sauce. The Pork Roti was unreal and officially a must-order for me moving forward. I kept taking bites trying to figure out what ingredient made it taste THAT good. Then the Khao Soi with fried chicken completely sealed the deal. That curry deserves to be bottled and sold in stores. Go support this business. You can taste the care in both the food and the service.

Her top secret weapon (off Ploy's secret menu of course) is the Pineapple Express, an incredibly crispy and delicately fried chicken dish served with jasmine rice. The dining area is small but has a communal sense to it that immediately makes you feel comfortable. Service is fast and dialed in. You truly can't ask for more! This is a great spot to catch up with a friend or make a new one. Not too crowded, but there is a constant stream of, what seem to be, regular customers who have been frequenting this spot in a ritualistic way. I aim to join them after this first visit!
