Nice modern looking thai restaurant. That's the best thing you can say about it. My first experience with Aloy Thai was the one in Boulder. I wanted thai again and agreed to try the Denver location to see if there was any difference. The answer is: no. My experience with Aloy Thai has been consistently negative. It's hard to make thai curry mediocre and tasteless, but the chef's at Aloy Thai have apparently perfected it. Skip Aloy Thai. Do a little more research, and you will probably have a much better thai food experience in Denver. read more

So we stumbled upon this surprisingly yummy little hole in the wall take-out/ eatery with 3 tables & 2 high tops! I've eaten at Aloy's up north years ago and thought it was pretty good but too far of a drive for us. Portions are HUGE and great to share with 2-3 people. The authentic flavors brought me back to Thailand, where their spicy noodle dishes were so spicy delicious. Ambience is ok, tight squeeze, but they probably get great take out business. We had the tastiest dishes here and hope to go back one day. You'll order at the register, be given an order tent and they'll bring your order to the table. They offer spicy levels 1-5, with 5 being considered "Thai hot." I had the drunken noodles spicy 1 with tofu and really enjoyed the sweet and savory taste of the sauce. Our first time here at Aloy Thai Eatery and it's so cute here, it's a nice private feeling restaurant with outside seating as well, the vibe is really chill in here and the service was fast and quick! The cashier was really friendly and made recommendations and gave us insider knowledge about curries. The food was delicious! We shared a pad see ew and it was perfectly smokey and our tiger milk tea was perfectly sweet. Got delivery so we didn't have a dining experience, but food was absolutely delicious! First time ordering from here and this is now our new go-to. Generous portions, super fresh / high quality ingredients (veggies clearly just chopped, noodles were hand made. A friend suggested Aloy Thai Eatery as a place for us to meet for dinner. Unfortunately, he's a bit technologically-challenged, and saw pictures of their other location. We walked in and he said it wasn't the right place. The decor was vastly different than what he saw on the website. We said it didn't matter since we were already there. It's a very unpretentious restaurant on the inside. But what it lacks in ambiance, it makes up in outstanding flavor combinations. This is an authentically Thai-owned restaurant, and the proof is in the pudding. Or in the Pad Thai. I had the Pad See Ew, which is Chinese bok choy, egg, thick rice noodle & sweet soy. I love bok choy, and explained what it is to our friend. The person at the counter explained how their bok choy is "imported" from California from a farm, and the farmer drives it in on his truck once a week. This was a random stop that I'm soooo glad I made. I was in town for business and meeting some friends for dinner. The fried shrimp appetizer was crispy, hot, and perfectly spicy. The shrimp were also a great small size that made them easy to pop in your mouth. For dinner I had the pad see ew and it was soooo delicious. I ate the entire thing which doesn't happen often for me at a Thai place. It was the perfect level of spicy and full of flavor. My friends had the drunken noodles and pad Thai and both agreed theirs was equally as delicious. There was only one waiter working while we were there and they were really busy. Headed home to Phoenix and needed to catch a bite before we jumped on the plane. Aloy Thai Eatery was close by, had decent reviews and we dropped in for a tasty Thai meal. The restaurant was dead on a Saturday afternoon, but the wait staff was very friendly. We ordered Pad Thai with chicken and Massaman curry. The food arrived quickly and was hot. The Pad Thai noodles were not fully cooked and hard while the dish lacked good flavor. The Massaman curry was watery with no spice, it did not appear to have any richness from the coconut milk. Overall, this was a bust. The food was quickly made and appears to have had minimal effort to make it special. Quality control needs to be implemented to make sure the dishes are presentable to the patrons. My boyfriend and I came to this eatery on a poem. Although we were hungry, we thought everything was absolutely amazing. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio. They bring your order directly to your table. And they will get you anything else you need to make your dining experience better. I got the Tom Yum Kar, and it was really good. It's not my favorite that I've ever had. But I did really enjoy it. It was in the top five. I also got a side of rice. The portion of rice was as big as the portion of soup. And together it really hit the spot. My boyfriend got the pad Thai. It had a wonderful texture to the noodles. It was pretty spicy. And the bowl was absolutely full of pad. Thai bamboo shoots lime chicken. It had all the things. And the sauce was very nice as well. We also got two appetizers, the shrimp, spring rolls and the spicy chicken strips. The spicy chicken strips and the spring rolls come with this sweet dipping sauce with red chili flakes in it. The shrimp spring rolls were perfectly crispy and the shrimp was plump and delicious on the inside. I would definitely order this again! Some of the best I've had. The crispy chicken was a wonderful flavor upfront with a slow heat in the back. There was lots of crispy. It was phenomenal with that dipping sauce. It had a sweet and heat combination that was delightful. Overall, I would say I would definitely hit the spot again. I really enjoyed it for a late lunch. There's other options right next-door. This was honestly the most convenient way I've ever eaten Thai. We just walked in, sat down, ordered on our phone using the QR code on the table, and they quickly brought all of our food out all at once. The food was steaming hot, fresh and delicious. Not the best Thai I've had (the noodles were a little too saucy) but it was certainly not bad at all and I wouldn't think twice about coming back. Their menu is really impressive. For a fast-casual style place (it's not your traditional sit-down restaurant), they offer a great selection of entrees, appetizers, beverages and even cocktails. It was a tad too early for me to drink, but they had some really tempting cocktails and beer that I would have gulped right up had it been a little later. Instead I went for their soda, which is the Stubborn soda brand that I love and is extremely refreshing. I do sort of wish the meal was paced a little better. I feel like if the appetizer comes at the same time or after the entree, it sort of defeats the point of an appetizer. Thai ice tea, even boba tea, Boylan cane sugar soda and sparkling sake! The dishes are so flavorful and colorful! The portions are big and I love the amount of meat of your choice they put on each bowl! Love that! Did you know? Went to this place for lunch. I have many time been to their Neighbour restaurant wild taco but never this one. It is a pretty small place but they have most of the traditional Thai food that is popular in the us. Very nice staff and they have a self service station for water, boxes and forks and knives. We ordered drunken noodles and Panang curry. It was a bit pricey but it had decent quality. I woukd definitely go back if you could get lunch for under $15 but you can't. read more

Alot Thai Eatery is an absolute gem of a restaurant! I had been in town attending a conference back in October. After a long day of lectures, I had not had a chance to eat and felt famished but I was indecisive on what to eat. After searching and searching, I decided I wanted some Thai food and chose Aloy Thai Eatery. I hitched a ride via Uber and hoped for the best. Upon arriving, I was very pleased. The restaurant includes a small indoor space as well as outdoor dining under a dimly lit shed. When looking online, it seemed idea like a full service restaurant but it is more like a cafe or fast-casual dining establishment. The staff will serve you if you dine-in with some self-serve options like fountain drinks. I walked in and was instantly greeted by a friendly host/staff member. Their menu is brightly lit and easy to read. It features a host of familiar Thai cuisine dishes like fried rice, coconut curry, drunken noodles, and pad thai. They also offer a number of drinks like cocktails and boba tea. For my meal, I decided to keep it simple - basil fried rice with shrimp and a fountain drink. I also decided to dine-in. I was given a number and directed to sit anywhere. I was the only person there at the time, so I had free range on seating. Within 10 minutes, the host presented me with my meal. Firstly, it was freshly prepared, steaming hot, and aesthetically pleasing. It featured basil, bell peppers, onions, egg, and a hint of spice. Absolutely delicious! The rice was moist with balanced flavor. It wasn't extremely spicy but if you have heartburn, you might feel it. As for the fountain drinks, they were standard. There were a few brands I had never heard of, but the flavors were familiar. In terms of service, the few staff I encountered were very kind and welcoming. Pricing was also reasonable in relation to portion size. As for the ambiance, it was relatively quiet. Aside from a few people eating outside, they seemed to be busy, taking orders by phone or addressing UberEats and Door Dash drivers. Nonetheless, I had a great experience and it was sooo worth the trip. I would definitely return and I highly recommend to others. I generally order it mild, but they don't offer a mild version, so I had medium and it was fine - not too hot. There were ample shrimp and the vegetables were fresh. Yum!! Wasn't expecting to find such delicious and authentic thai food in Denver, but found it we did. The spice, flavors, and presentation were all on point! Papaya salad: very umami! Fish sauce flavor was strong - sweet and salty. Also loved the baby tomatoes and strips of carrots for a pop of extra color. Khao soi: the curry broth was thick and savory, with each noodle pull drenched in that deliciousness. Although I have given one star to other Thai places on here, those one star places make this place a joke of a Thai restaurant. So we came here after two places we went to was too long to wait on a Saturday night. We did a quick yelped to see what was close to us and this restaurant came up. Of course, knowing my history with Thai food and Yelp, I should have read the reviews, better yet, I should pay attention to 'who' is doing the reviews for this restaurant. This place is not family friendly and do not have seating for 5 people. So we had to order to go. The menu is also very limited We got the fried rice, pad see ew, and pad thai.... Holy shit, I can't tell if this food is Thai, chinese, or dog food. It has no flavoring of any kind, the fried rice is soggy, the pad thai had no fish sauce/lemon sour taste to it and don't even get me started with the chicken they put in the pad see ew. How do people on here review this place as authentic? The price is expensive for a Thai place. But if the food was any decent, $19 is nothing. As it is, I would never pay again to come to this place. It's small inside but they have a tent and outdoor seating for more space. It's a fast-casual setup, which I hadn't realized. On to the food: The portions are generous and not overly spicy. I got yellow curry and did not taste any chili (ordered mild). My partner's green curry had more depth of flavor and a good mix of veggies. The amount of chicken between the two curries was pretty different (he got more hah), so a bit inconsistent with the protein ratio in the dishes.
