A review to ring in the new year! I came here with a large group (15 people!) and was very impressed. We gave them a heads up on the phone and they had a table set up for our party. Even with a group as large as ours, the food cane or so quick! We did a bit of family style and everybody loved their food! The server was incredibly nice and so attentive. Most of our group ordered no spice for our meals. However, the drunken noodles, green curry, and pineapple curry were already a little spicy at baseline, even ordered at "no spice." The server did warn us so we knew ahead of time! But as someone who is embarrassingly bad with spice, I'd say those dishes were spicy for me. Just something to know! I stopped by Thai Monkey Club with a friend on a Monday evening before a concert, and it was such a great spot to kick off the night! The atmosphere was casual and inviting, and the location is super convenient. Perfect for grabbing a bite before heading out. I ordered the tofu pad thai at spice level 2, and it was the perfect amount of heat. Not overwhelming, but with a nice kick. The flavor was savory, balanced, and super satisfying to fill my cravings for pad thai. The portion was generous, and the food came out fast, which was perfect since we were on a bit of a time crunch. My friend got the prik pao noodles with pork, also at spice level 2, and the flavor on that dish was bold and rich. That said, the spice definitely packed more of a punch than expected for a level 2, so something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to heat! One small thing I'd note is that the pad thai had some unexpected veggies like bok choy and carrots that were a little undercooked and didn't quite fit the dish for me, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. Service was super friendly and welcoming, which really rounded out the experience. I find that my experience is hit or miss with Thai Monkey Club. Some days, the food is amazing and everything is great, and other days, you'll get undercooked vegetables and overcooked meat in your plates. I typically will order the pad see ew and pad thai dishes, as when they are cooked well, I personally think they're the best in the Denver area. The problem is that you have no idea what you're getting when you order. Hope they can figure things out and put out more consistent quality. read more

Such an amazing experience! Love this hole in the wall off broadway. Extremely authentic and big plates of food. Always made with love. Been a few years since I've been but will ensure to frequent this place more often. Got the drunken noodle, Thai fried rice, Panang curry and their tofu appetizer was a show stopper. Chalk one up for another Thai restaurant on/near Broadway. Thai Monkey Club has flavor down to the T. My drunken noodles were top notch. Even the crab rangoon had crab in it instead of the standard cream cheese! Overall service and ambiance were wonderful. Stopped here on the way to March madness and so glad we did! The food was amazing, service was kind and quick, flavors were amazing, and you got the hole in the wall ambiance with their location. Don't let the appearance discourage you because we were all so shocked by how tasty the food was! The portion sizes were amazing and prices reasonable. Not bad but it had been better. The spring rolls were lukewarm and the food too. Which I did not understand because we were the only diners (aside from pick up orders). The flavors were just okay on my dish and the shrimp pad thai was a but spicier than a 3 but enjoyed. I will come back and hope for the same quality that had hd me going for years. Delicious Thai food - great for takeout! With all of the cold weather we've been getting in Denver lately, my husband and I have been craving comfort foods and Thai Monkey Club provided us with just that. On a Friday night, we ordered delivery from Thai Monkey Club and were super excited to see the extensive menu. They have so many great options that it was difficult to decide what to get! We ended up landing on: the green curry w/ chicken (level 3 spice), the drunken noodles w/ chicken (level 2 spice), the thai egg rolls, and the crab cheese wontons. Everything arrived at our place still hot & delicious as if we were dining in the restaurant. The egg rolls and crab cheese wontons were so tasty!! The curry had really great flavor but was almost too spicy at level 3 - so just beware of that! And the drunken noodles were on point, loaded with veggies and really good flavor. I think this place has maybe too much hype? Regardless, I have ordered the panang chicken curry and the pad Thai before and they are both decent lunch items. I didn't finish my curry which is unusual for me but it was still tasty. The pad Thai was alright. Definitely not my favorite Thai place but it's not bad by any means. read more

This is my absolute favorite number one source of pad Thai. For the source of protein, I always opt for the tofu which is served crispy on the outside and full of flavor. They also allow people to customize how spicy they prefer their food, which is ideal. I have noticed that this restaurant primarily fulfills delivery and takeout orders, but also has plenty of seating if you choose to dine in. The atmosphere is basic and nothing too special but the service is attentive and friendly. What are you dining in or takeout, the food is guaranteed to be delicious. I also really love the location on South Broadway, which is close to so many of my favorite businesses in Denver. For dessert, you can walk over to voodoo doughnuts afterwards. read more

Authentic Thai Food For The Win! With so many Thai restaurants in Denver, this is my go to place. Normally always order take out but the food always comes hot plus portions are huge here. Okie hands down my favorite place to order takeout from! I've been ordering from here for about 3 years now. It's perfect for a movie night in with your girlfriends cause their portions are great, price is perfect, and their service is FAST! I usually order, drive over a few minutes later, and pick up. Also there have been so many times in the last few years when they've offered me a free drink or candy with my pick up order. The location on Broadway is so convenient (pro tip for folks new to the area, parking on Broadway can be hard to find but you can park on Lincoln depending on the time/day). The servings for takeout are partially why I always come back, but I love the green curry. Take out the eggplants, and make it spicy level 4. The one thing I will say is Denver lacks a ton of Thai food that is truly amazing- this is the one place aside from Thai Cafe where I will always go for great Curry. I also love their Crab Rangoons. I usually ask for extra dumpling sauce and sadly they don't have any spicy mustard but this is a Thai restaraunt, not Chinese, so I should lower my standards. But whenever I ask for extra sauces, I really appreciate that this place sends a few. It's the little things like this that make it worth while for me to always order again. read more
