The bf was craving pad Thai and i just grabs an appetizer shrimp rolls it was fresh and quick and food nice and hot the pad thai was glass noodles and we got medium spice which was perfect all the nice crunchy veggies that was in the dish definitely recommend. I've been having Thai food all over town and this is a spot near me I had not tried yet. I got massamam curry with vegetables and drunken noodles. Flavors were ok but the noodles were all broken up into little pieces and mushy. Not my favorite. The curry was packed full of veggies but the sauce was a bit thin. I came to Suvipa Thai for my birthday celebration. I highly recommend their Lad na pork, Papaya salad, and Thai curry puff. We also ordered Fried pompano fish topped with green mango salad & Tom zap soup. The service is great. Foods came out pretty fast for a small restaurant. The price also very good values. What a gem located in the heart of Federal Blvd where all the best authentic food is. Restaurant is small & not fancy, but food is delicious. Per Yelp reviews we tried the curry puff which was excellent. Sweeter than expected but extremely flavorful and the outside was buttery and flaky. I got the pineapple fried rice which was delicious and the portion sizes were huge - I ate a decent amount and still took home a full box full, probably enough for two more meals. Short-staffed with only one employee (minus the kitchen) running everything from greeting, seating, serving, answering calls, handling takeout, etc. so it was a bit on the slow side. However food came out quick after ordering. People were turned away because of the small seating area so keep that in mind if you're planning on coming during peak hours (we were there at 6 pm on a Sunday and it was packed, we got lucky). read more

Oh lawd!! If there was another star, this restaurant would be a 6 star restaurant. All of their signature dishes were amazing! Perfectly balanced with authentic Thai flavors, beautifully presented and cooked to perfection! We had the Massaman Curry 10/10, Larb salad (pork) 11/10, Thai Fried rice 11/10 and the Fried Pomfret with spicy sliced mangos 8/10. The service was SUPERB. The restaurant is in a little bit sketchy location, parking is a bit tighter than usual. Inside is homey, the server was nice and efficient. She handles everything, from seating the guests, getting orders, answers the phone and taking to-go orders, and serves the food. It was a one-woman show. Service was relatively fast, considering. We ordered Crispy noodles with holy basil chicken, it was good, a little on salty side for me but my husband liked it. The Pineapple fried rice was curry flavored, it's good, if you like curry. 3 of us back here recently for lunch. The physical property is humble to begin with and on this wintry day in early January they were using space heaters to warm the eating space. It didn't seem much warmer inside the restaurant than it was outside, but the food was remarkably good. Service was attentive. We had the Larb, the holy basil chicken, and a very spicy shrimp fried rice. We loved both the Larb and the holy basil chicken. The fried rice was just too spicy. I ordered it medium, and that was more than we could handle. In reading some of the other yelp reviews, a handful of people said they didn't think there was any taste to the food. Holy Basil, I think this is some of the most tasty Thai food that I have had in the Denver area! Sweet rice with papaya is a must try dessert. read more

Met up with some friends for lunch on a Sunday. The place is small, casual, nicely decorated, and clean. Our waitress was attentive and kind. We started off with some papaya salad and Thai tea. We did a medium on the spice for the papaya salad. Be warned that medium may be very hot for those who can't handle spicy. The papaya salad was on point and delicious. We finished it all. We ordered and shared the chicken drunken noodles, tofu pad Thai, and beef laab. We all loved the noodle dishes. Both tasted very distinct and flavorful. The beef laab, I've had better. Flavor was just okay. I would highly recommend them to ground their meats when making laab. Traditionally, laab is made with ground beef. Overall experience was really good. I'm so glad to be back here after what feels like forever. There are just too many great restaurants to try in Denver. But I have to say, this place really stands out. Year after year, it continues to be my favorite Thai restaurant in the city. They are so friendly, helpful, and kind. And the food is always on point. Flavorful, fresh, and I especially love a few of their more unique items (like the curry puffy and the taro puff). They have 8 four-tops in the restaurant, but they aren't packed together. You could come with a large group, but I would call ahead so they can rearrange the seating for you. It's a small local spot that also does all fair share delivery orders it seems... so I have never seen them run out of tables, but it does get a little busier during prime dinner hours. I definitely hope more folks try out this amazing local gem! read more

We came here because Star Thai was closed until 5:30pm. We ordered a crab cheese wonton as appetizer. It was filled with lots of scallions and a little bit of cream cheese and surimi. It was not very good. Husband got the pad thai. While it was not as good as the country pad thai at Star Thai, it was pretty good. It was on the sweeter side. I got the drunken noodles and it was disappointment. It was overly wet and it had this really weird taste... kind of like syrup taste. I don't know how to describe it. Wow..... The food is amazing! Best veggie egg rolls I've had in ages! Clearly made with love and attention. Rolled perfectly, filled in a well balanced way. Not too much wrapper. All fried perfectly crispy and not at all too oily. Literally a masterfully made egg roll. Also had beef drunken noodles. So many veggies as compared to the average Thai restaurant. This isn't average, this is so lovely!!! Beef quality was fresh and pleasant. Noodles were cooked well. More of a wetter sauce and less of a grilly pan fried texture on the noodles, for those that notice such things:) I really enjoyed the drunken noodles but I'm excited to try their other entrees too! The ambiance is a little sparse but was very clean! Service was very polite and helpful. Little story time.... One time I lived out in the desert in California. There was a tiny Thai grocery store in this really neglected strip mall and they also had a little white paper menu and indications of a counter service take out restaurant. I tried their food and it was like no Thai I'd ever quite had. Fresher, lighter, little bit more exotic mix of tang and sour and garlic and so on. Anyway, a minuscule, very old, kind, Asian woman stood at the stove top and kitchen area, which was visible and made it all and it was *chefs kiss* delicious and made with pure love. They were sweet and often sent me home with interesting vegetables to try cooking. They closed ages ago though. This food was the closest I'd had to that experience, flavor wise and ingredient wise. The worst customer service i've ever experienced. I was a loyal customer and I've never had an issue. I placed an order, they got it wrong and I called about it. The person told me no big deal. Just show the picture next time I come in. So, I did that, as well as the receipt and they proceeded to call me a liar and say that I was trying to con them out of the price difference. I told her just to charge me whatever at this point, it wasn't that big of a deal. She proceeded to go to the back/kitchen to talk and laugh about me and to the other employees (it's basically an open kitchen). Never going back to this place. I was going to meet 2 friends at our favorite Thai restaurant on Monday April 4th, however, before we left to go we decided to check on the time they opened. Unfortunately, they are closed on Mondays. Since we were all in the mood for Thai food, my friend searched for a Thai restaurant. Apparently this place was only place open on Monday and it had good reviews. When we arrived around noon we noticed that we were the only customers. The dining area was dingy and didn't look that clean. We decided to give it a try since wee were already there so we chose to split an appetizer (spring rolls) and were disappointed when our server claimed that they didn't have them. We ordered the egg rolls. They were mediocre at best. Our entrees were served one at a time, a few minutes apart, so by the time the third entree was served, the first entree was Luke warm. I ordered the chicken Pad Thai and although there was enough to take a portion home, it wasn't all that good. My friends felt the same way. We cannot recommend this place and will not return. read more
