The kid and I both ordered the mission burger, which is 2 smash patties, cheese, and their special sauce. I added grilled onion to mine and he ordered a side of fries. I could tell when I looked at the patties I would be disappointed. They weren't really smash patties at all, more like the size and shape of a McDonald's quarter pounder. They tasted like the prepackaged patties you would get out of a box or bag. I can't say for sure, but the quality was just not great. I've eaten my fair share of burgers around the metroplex, so I know good quality when I have it. The kid enjoyed his food and the fries were really good, hence the 3 stars. It might be the best latte I've ever had. Rich, smooth, just the right amount of sweetness... it gave "main character energy" in a cup. The coffee truck itself is adorable, the service was super warm, and the vibe was so chill and welcoming. You can tell there's real love behind every detail.
