I also love that they do not skimp on ingredients. When they add toppings they actually scoop them. I haven't had anything here I wouldn't get again, but my go to favorites are their frozen drinks and wow their crepes. Their crepes are insanely decadent. The crew is always kind and leaves you alone to enjoy your tea in a quiet, quaint teashop. The decor and media around the shop from the TVs to the music to the games make it feel relaxing and fun. They also have quite a few different desserts like macarons that will not disappoint you. The outside seating is nice when the weather is cooperating and the speed of service is exactly what you expect for custom drinks. No more, no less. They also pack everything perfectly for delivery or takeout. My orders always arrive looking great, tasting great, and feeling mindfully prepared.

I finally had an extra moment and had been craving a boba tea so I stopped in. There was a line but it moved quick. It gave me just enough time to figure out what I wanted. The service was friendly and it was super fast. Under five minutes. I didn't even have time to really look around but they do have loose tea and different tea accessories that you can buy. I've considered reducing my coffee intake and swapping it with tea and I feel like this would be a great way to experiment and try different teas. If you don't like boba tea they also have smoothies. I've never tried them so I can't really say how they are. The boba tea is excellent. On my last visit I ordered a Thai iced bubble tea. But I've done mango and a few other flavors in the past. All have been good. They do have different boba options so you can really customize it to your tastes. I highly recommend and I'll definitely be stopping in more often.

While the game lets market is wide open on the weekend with booths of all sorts open for business, there are spots with permanent locations inside and along the perimeter. Those spots are where you will find the hot food and specialty drinks/snacks. The market is laid out nicely with several covered, but open air buildings and then an indoor space where the restrooms and other shops are situated. Another great thing about the market is it is a designated stop on the KC Streetcar, so getting to and from is a breeze, especially for those not familiar with the area. Also, it's fairly close to the river front, and is connected via paved pathway. Overall, great little market to spend some time wandering through, whether you have an agenda or just looking to experience a bit of local while in KC.

I saw the meter maid on patrol both when I got here and when I left. They are ruthless! The market is cool and while I was here to see the Arabia (only here until November than then going... they don't know where) but I took the time to walk around and to get a coffee at the unimaginatively named City Market Coffee House. The cortado was more flat white but it was tasty and delicious and it was nice to sit for a bit and people watch before heading to the riverboat. Lots of other food and drink options here and shopping too. [Review 830 of 2026 - 548 in Missouri - 26011 overall]
