I ordered delivery for me and my mom tonight. My fried rice tasted like fish (threw away) my moms egg rolls were also inedible. Also thrown away. To start this horrible meal the delivery person set the food and left without ringing the doorbell or knocking on the door. I live in a condo so leaving stuff outside is not a great option. Sadly, tonight was the last time I will visit Nom Nom. I have been coming since they opened 5 or 6 years ago. My family of 5 usually go 2-3 a month, as the food is good. We have noticed the portion sizes dropping for the past few years, but still kept loyal. They have a stamp card system (buy 10, get $7 off next meal), and a spot to put your card. I have had SEVERAL of my cards disappear after getting up to 9 or even 10 stamps. So, I decide to take my cards home with me. I talked with the lady about my missing cards, and she never seemed to care, or feel any type of sadness for my situation. I asked if I can take them home, and she said that is fine. Every time I would forget my card, I would ask for a new one and explain that I forgot my card at home. Every time, they would give me a new card, and never tell me that is a problem. Tonight, I go in and bring in 2 punch cards, one with 7 stamps and one with 3. I had been saving them up at home, and forget to bring them in when I go, since I usually do it on my way home from work, and don't carry those kind of cards in my wallet. I order $15 worth of food, and she puts in the discount of $7. I then hand her both cards, and she simply says no. I asked what? And she says there is only 7 stamps, and I can't use this card. I figured that she just misunderstood that I handed her 2 cards to equal the 10 stamps needed. She then starts lecturing me that ALL her customers know that this isn't something they can do. She says that it costs her too much money to keep buying these cards, and that she would have to throw away both cards if they accepted these. She claimed that it costs her so much money to order all these cards....really? That $0.03 per card is really digging into their profits... I said so, just give me back the card with 3 stamps, and cross the 3 out. She continues to argue with me, telling me she won't honor their system and that EVERYONE knows this rule. I argue back, telling her I have been coming in since they opened, and have had several cards stolen from their storage system (which I am thinking they take the cards, not some random person coming in, since the card has my full name on it). She then told me to leave. Didn't try and figure out something to make everyone happy, not an "I'm sorry, but this is just the rule", nothing like that, just leave. So, although I won't be able to get my teriyaki fix on Sundays anymore, there are teriyaki shops on almost every block in every city, not going to be too hard to replace. I was denied last night. After i placed a pick up order at 645pm, i went to go pick up and found the doors locked and lights out. The sign says tgey close at 8pm on sumdays. I arrived at 7pm Fortunately eat24 was on top of it and when they did receive confirmation, a rep called and made sure i was refunded. Im disappointed mostly because its usually pretty decent food, and good service. Would easily be a 4 star of they had only updated eat 24, and the sign on their door. read more

I ordered more than $40 of food for delivery from GrubHub. The delivery time kept creeping later until it was over 90 after the order was placed. After 95 minutes I call and am told, "Oh, we don't deliver on Tuesdays." Nowhere does it say that. It's late, I'm hangry, and I'm out $40 and have no food. Never again. read more

I have eaten here twice. First time I had the general tso chicken. It was a stir fry with veggies, never had that before but the sauce was good. The second time hubby and I came in and ordered a terriaki each then ordered a childs to go. The man at the counter waited a bit but then took the order, then a lady came out from the back and started talking fast and in a different language then said to me where's your child? No child no to go child food! REALLY! ?! We ordered food for both of us that were at the restaurant but can't get a child's to go order? I told the lady we are eating here but want the childs to go since the child is not here to eat it! She said NO no child here no child to go! Drove an hour to this place based on another person's review. Got there. Ordered my food. Got my food. So far so good. Asked for Gyoza sauce. She said I'll be right back. Went and got it myself 5 min later. No biggie. Food quality is low. Their spicy is a VINEGAR BASED pepper mix. Horrible. Should be used on sandwiches as a hit pepper mix. The Yaki sauce was good but the meat seemed steamed or boiled. Literally no grill marks or browning on the chicken. Beef was fatty and cat food like. The gyoza was delicious but the gyoza sauce sucks. I did get 3 free gyoza for checking in. Overall I would stay awAy. I have eaten at hundreds of teriyaki places in Washington. I can't believe another experienced Yaki guy said this was good food. Maybe I caught them on a bad day but I wont be back to find out. read more

My husband is a picky person and likes certain food and cooked in a certain way too! This place exceeded our expectations! The service was good but it was pretty dead when we came in, doesn't mean that the food was bad! It just means we came in on their off time. He ordered 2 orders of Tempura prawns, onion rings and French fries don't ask me why?!? I ordered a regular chicken teriyaki my go to when trying new places and gyoza. I'm not picky but I know how chicken teriyaki and gyoza should be and tasty! I was blown away by how they had the food ready for us and when we took it home, it was still warm. It was the best chicken teriyaki, gyoza, tempura prawns, onion rings and French fries we had in a long time! We will be going there again maybe make it a tradition of coming here! Got some delivery. Chicken quality was ok, looked like it had been held in a warming cabinet for a while. One of the scoops of rice had an odd old licorice taste. 1 star for customer service...don't try to check in and use the coupon because according to the owner they cancelled the offer 3 years ago and refused to honor the coupon for 3 Gyoza!!! I guess that deserves a negative review. My husband and I stopped in for lunch this is not the first time we ate here. This is the only local teriyaki place that is open on Sunday's and delivers plus the food is okay. We were grabbing our drinks while waiting for our food and noticing most of the drinks on the cooler were EXPIRED!!! From 3 to 9 months!!!!! We brought this up to the owners since we already paid and asked if we could just get fountain drinks in its place he told me know that they cost more...I had a puzzled look and said but the sodas are expired here??? He asked which sodas we wanted and gave me newer cans from behind the counter. We are probably not going to go back here again because if all the sodas in the fridge were expired that we picked up which was about 10 or 12 then what else are they using that's expired that a customer can't see??? If you read my review and decide to give them a chance make sure you check the expiration dates on your drink!!! read more

This family owned restaurant is the BEST deal in town!!!! We had a wonderful lunch there....from the yakisoba to the mongolian beef, the food was delicious! The freshest ingredients! The servings were generous...enough to share easily! Service was friendly and prompt! The restaurant is immaculate!!!!! Cleanliness is HUGE for me! It tells me how they manage the kitchen! Yum yum! This is the only teriyaki place open on Sunday, it has easy access from holly or evergreen, the beef teriyaki was yummy and it's the poppy seed dressing that I love for the salad. Only took 10 mins for the food to be done and the people were nice and courteous. I will be back! read more

Nom nom never fails to deliver great food! It's always hot and fresh! We always get some pork or chicken teriyaki which is amazing! The general tso's chicken is delicious and they even have a decent burger with a really good sauce on it! Everything we have ordered has been really good! Came for the name, but the food's great too. There is a caveat though - the discount that Yelp offers for checking in there doesn't work, the staff don't accept it, and they say they have no idea how to make yelp stop giving that promotional to people. Still, food's great, bubble tea's great, and while the interior isn't geek-centric like the name and pac-man logo would make you think, the food's still awesome. If you want a bunch of nerd stuff on the wall with your asian food though, you can always try Katsu Burger. read more

I had the chicken teriyaki and gyoza combination here. The gyozas were good, but the chicken itself was so so (little bland and dry). My friends that I came here with all felt the same about the chicken itself (spicy chicken and chicken yakisoba). The yakisoba was good, but the chicken with it was okay. Was excited to try The red curry chicken. I picked up a few different things for co workers. The chicken vegetable stir fry was well liked by 3 people. I'm sad to say my red curry was just sliced carrots and bamboo shoots. I may have had 5 very small pieces of chicken and no fresh basil. The rice was not rinsed well and was very gluey. The small salad was tasty. Half of my peeps were content i was not. Will try the simple stir fry next time if i decide to go back. This place is delicious!!! They also deliver on Eat24 which is amazing!! They are pretty fast and food is amazing! Their bubble tea is delicious!!! Only reason i rated them 4/5 is because the sushi isn't the greatest and i always regret it after i buy it because it just never tastes quite right unfortunately! There are many choices when it comes to teriyaki restaurants in Everett, but this place left me disappointed. I ordered the beef teriyaki and I would not recommend it to anyone.... Some of the lettuce in the salad was brown, the beef was more gristle and slimy fat than meat, as if they put no effort whatsoever into trimming it. My wife is normally easily pleased when it comes to food, but even she was displeased with this place. The rice was the only enjoyable part of the meal- it was nicely cooked. read more

Nom nom's is clean and friendly. If you love bubble tea, this is the place to go! It's fantastic, and they have tons of flavors and options. I give them five stars because their food is consistently up to my expectations, whether I get it via delivery or in the shop. Having tried many things on their menu, they're always all very good! Some recipes, like the curry, are very strong . . . so that's definitely not for everyone. However, if you know what you want and look at their menu and see it, you're in for a treat! Of course, their name, "Nom Nom," adds some solidarity for geeks in the obvious nerd-factor there, so I may be a little biased. I have yet to have Nom Nom's disappoint me, though. :) read more

Wife and I get carryout from this place often. As everyone knows there are a million teriyaki places in the PNW and two or three that are closer and more convenient from our house/work, but having tried the others we stick with Nom Nom. The owners are very friendly, the food is great, portions are large, prices are reasonable, the restaurant is clean, and we always get our order quickly. We especially like the variety on the menu! Pretty yummy and always friendly! I really like that they give you the whole half of teriyaki. Some places give you two scoops of rice and then put rice under the chicken as well, that's a rip off. They don't do that here! Some yummy bubble tea as well and they can make it dairy free for me unlike some places. read more

I got Mongolian beef and it tasted like it was just cooked in teriyaki sauce. Barley any meat. Also I did not finish. My son had teriyaki chicken, he did not like it. Was a waste of 40$.
