4.5 I've been to this place three times, and my most recent visit was my favorite because I finally tried the Duck Pho. That alone would bring me back. It's served on the bone, so it's not for everyone, but the broth was rich and flavorful, and there's plenty of duck if you don't mind eating it off the bone. The restaurant is nice and clean, though a little small. The staff is very friendly, and the food comes out quickly. All in all, this is a solid Vietnamese spot that's definitely worth trying. I'm not sure why this place is rated so poorly on here but more aligned on Google. I had the brisket and beef pho with extra spicy on the side to go. I really enjoyed the broth, it was very flavorful. The meat was good, a little bit of fat but it didn't bother me. The service was good although I cant speak much on that bc i got it togo. The pho was just okay -- definitely not worth what happened next. The owner kept coming over to our table making strange comments about how our baby "looked like his," which was already uncomfortable. But then he did something completely out of line -- THE OWNER GRABBED A DIRTY NAPKIN WITH JALAPEÑO ON IT AND WIPED MY 4 MONTH OLD BABY'S MOUTH without asking. Who does that? Ack! Easily the worst meal we've had in Colorado. We were a party of 8 and found the service very confusing and difficult. First, we placed the order at the counter (as advised when we walked in) and were told they would bring water to the table. 25 minutes later we stepped up again and asked for water again. They reiterated that they would be by with water soon. 35 minutes into our stay, no water, no food. It was very hot inside (heat wave) and my daughter was feeling ill from the heat. We came up one more time and they finally just gave us a small jug of water (which wasn't enough for 8 people). 45 minutes into our stay, no food, and we needed more water. No one around the counter to help. At this point there were a few more patrons (we were the only ones there for the first 40 minutes). We received our meals almost an hour into it. The food was really just appallingly awful. We could have forgiven bad service for good food, but this was just beyond any reasonable explanation. The spring rolls are made up of bagged shredded lettuce and mushy shrimp. The Pho did not come with any accoutrements (like basil, lemon/lime, bean sprouts). The broth was decent enough, but did have a lot of MSG as the main flavoring. Yikes. I get the same thing at every Vietnamese restaurant- combination bun bowl and see how they compare. This was by far the worst. The meat was not marinated - literally tasted like they opened up a salad with chicken breast from the grocery store and plopped it on top. The shrimp and beef were even worse. The lettuce and carrots were also grocery store style and not the thick cut you generally see at a Vietnamese restaurant. No cucumber in the bowl which is a key ingredient. Even the fish sauce that goes on top was funky. The reason this gets two stars and not just one is because the egg roll was good. My bf thought the pho was ok (he said 2.5 stars/5). But he tried my bowl and agreed. I came to the restaurant starving so I did eat some of the bowl but the second picture is what I left- I just couldn't stomach it. A lovely family-owned small business just on the outskirts of downtown Colorado Springs. This used to be Pho Brother, but ownership shifted to the sister. The area isn't the best and parking can be a little tight depending on the day, but the owners are really sweet. I ordered pho with steak. They don't offer tripe, tendon, or any of those other "fancier" meat options unfortunately, but the pho itself was good. The broth was pretty good as well and the portions are decent. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way for this again (just because I'm a huge fan of the tripe, tendon, meatballs, and whatnot), but I'd swing by again if I were in the area. We tried this relatively new pho place in Colorado Springs while we are in town to get ready to hike the Pike's peak. The place doesn't have AC only fans so it feels a bit warm inside. The ambience is quite casual - you ordered in the front and pay first before you sit down and dine with them. The server will bring out water. We ordered the combo spring rolls (recommended by our server), which has shrimp and stewed beef. It tastes pretty good but the size is on the small end. We also both got steak pho, I would say size is also on the smaller end but I was full at the end. The steak was cooked perfectly but the broth was clearly too salty so we ended up drinking a lot of water. Anyways they say lots of salt is good to conquer the altitude sickness so we took it. But overall food is a 3.5/5. I am giving it a four cause they are new and maybe still improving on the operational end of the restaurant. read more

On Wed 07/30/25, I spent $45 for to go food, combo platers and beef platers. I didn't check how was my food look like, when I got home, I smelled different in the food. We came to Pho Sister craving for Viet food after several days having just fast food. We're from Texas but had lived in California for a while, I can say I have enjoyed a lot of good Pho and I only expect the food here is okay. However, everything is wonderful. We ordered two appetizers which are chicken dumplings and egg rolls. Two small bowls of phở for entree. Although the broth is slightly sweet too me, I think the whole meal is perfect. In my meatball pho, the meatball is sliced into the thickness of prosciutto and I can tell there is no more than 1.5 meatballs in this $16.99 bowl of pho 2. We love pho but couldn't drink the broth. It is not the right flavor 3. The noodle is overcooked. If you love pho, you know how disappointing it is. Service 1. I place a to-go order, and I was told a price, followed by "this is the cash price, it's more if you use card". The cash price is the same as the menu. So why not just shamelessly tell people that " we don't want to pay tax, but, you need to over pay us" 2. I gave them cash, but they didn't have the change. Then they figured it out by giving me whole bunch of coins. 3. After all these, there is no utensils for the two pho and one rice plate I ordered. I understand if the owner wants to save some trees. I just don't get it why this place can even get more than a 2 star. First on food, soup is bland and noodles have no flavor and taste like watered down. I came from Haltom City, TX so know what even average pho is like. This is way below. It's definitely NOT cooked by authentic Vietnamese. Second, the waiter will tell you if you pay by card there is a surcharge. That's fine. You don't want to pay tax but also want the card business. The pho was solid, just nothing special. The spring roll was fine too; the peanut sauce was my favorite thing about it. Pho and appetizers is really all they have. Its not a traditional Vietnamese restaurant with rice and noodle dishes on the menu too. Pho is the main attraction. And their Pho is middle of the road. Broth could use more flavor. The fresh veggie plate was very light on the basal. My honeydew smoothie with boba was disappointing. It had a faint taste of honeydew but mainly it tasted like slushy water.
