    13. House Curry Noodle

Located a block away from the waterfront, Little Thai Peacock makes its home in an indoor Asian food cart serving tasty Thai comfort food. You order on the kiosk and you get your order at the pick-up window. The workers are quick and efficient and are actually Thai which is a good sign. When you receive your order, you can also ask for Thai soy sauce/ chili oil. The food court itself is casual and has a lot of seating so it wasn't hard to find a table. For a Friday lunch, it was relatively quiet. Food is served in huge portions of everything: noodles, protein, vegetables. My house curry noodle was packed with crispy pork belly, meatballs, chinese broccoli, and noodles. It was impossible to eat it all in one sit down. The pork was tasty and tender and the broth was very flavorful and slightly spicy even without the chili oil. My partner ordered the Khao Pad Sapparod which was a little greasy. There was a lot of rice and less protein compared to the house curry noodle. But the chicken that my partner ordered with his rice was well seasoned and tender. I think it's safer to stick with their curries and broths which are packed with flavor and protein vs the rice where they don't give as much protein. But for comfort food, little Thai Peacock hits the spot.

The portions didn't look large but it was very filling! The food was delicious. The pine street market was a very cute location and had plenty of seating. I didn't interact much with the staff since you order on computers.

Little Thai Peacock is located inside the Pine Street Market PDX. They're open everyday starting at 11am. They offer delivery thru GrubHub, Doordash and Uber Eats. I recently ordered several items from them delivered by GH. Everything arrived fresh, hot and well packaged. The items were delivered in brown bags that were stapled shut ensuring a tamper free arrival. Very nice. I ordered yellow curry, pad Thai, stir fried veggies and pineapple rice. There is a choice of meats, tofu or veggies for each item. The food was delicious! Each item was full of flavor. Spicy items are notated on the menu but there isn't a choice for spice level when ordering. Be sure to let them know if you're especially sensitive. I thoroughly enjoyed the food from Little Thai Peacock and highly recommend trying them!

This place was located inside the Pine Street Market food hall. I was staying nearby and came here to pick up a quick dinner. Ordering was simple. I used their kiosk to place a to-go order for their Pad Thai with added pork meatballs. I then waited nearby for my order to be ready. I received a text when my order was ready. My food was well packaged for the transport back to my room. While it wasn't the best that I've ever had, it was good. I wouldn't mind coming back to try other items on their menu.

Little Thai Peacock is located in the Pine Street Market indoor food cart pod in downtown Portland. They offer vegetarian and vegan options on their menu that will not disappoint! I recently tried their Vegan Khao Haang which is rice, veggies and tofu. Absolutely delicious! I also tried their Khao Pad - fried rice with veggies and tofu (I asked for no egg to make it vegan). I enjoyed both dishes very much. I ordered online and my order was ready when I arrived. Staff is friendly! Food Cart - Street Parking

A haiku review: False advertisement Menu said skinny noodles These noodles are fat Pad se ew was ew :/ Tasted like chemicals, yuck It was very wrong Crab puffs saved my meal Those were crispy and delish Overall, not it End of haiku. The menu describes the noodles as thin noodles like in pad thai. I was intrigued to try pad see ew with these noodles as it's my go to dish and I've never had it prepared that way. They came with regular wide noodles. Something was really wrong. Really tasted like straight up chemicals were in the food or burnt plastic. Could not enjoy any of it. :(( unfortunately won't be returning!

My tofu pad see ew was salty, but I enjoyed the amount of fried tofu and Chinese broccoli with the dish. Service was quick for a to go order, so definitely very convenient to grab food.

Stopped by for a quick dinner and was surprisingly impressed. I ordered the crispy trout rice bowl -- it came with a fantastic broth that was savory and perfect for a rainy Portland day. The rice bowl itself was an amalgamation of savory and salty flavors. The fish was fried well, not too greasy and not overcooked. One thing I would have appreciated in the dish would have been less mayo and if they seasoned the broccoli even just a little. It just didn't need the mayo and made the dish a bit heavier, while the broccoli felt like it was just added to add color and nothing else. That said, serving was pretty big and definitely filling. So many crispy garlic tidbits in the rice, which was a joy. Service was kind and quick, and the overall vibe of the marketplace was cute, casual. Would recommend.

Popular place, but the food was ready very quickly. I especially liked their drinks... very unique. The pad Thai was pretty standard, but overall not bad.

Little Thai Peacock is located inside Pine St Market. They got an array of noodle and rice dishes you can pick and than pick your protein. Prices however at around $15. Portion is fair. I ordered the garlic rice with pork belly. The garlic hung around, for a very long time. The pork was a bit different than other places, it was semi-crispy and dusted with flavor. I customized my dish by adding pineapple and baby corn. Dish would have been fine without both. Don't get the pineapple though, it was oddly flavorless in the dish I had Their drinks are pretty well priced at $3 for thai iced tea and other options.

This gem in Pine Street Market food court was fantastic! We ordered two appetizers, and they were absolutely perfect. I highly recommend checking this place out for quick, delicious food at great prices. The food court itself also has a wonderful atmosphere.

12.1 Ba-Mhee Tom-Yum Haang is so delicious! I've been able to try a couple items here and it's always amazing. The owner was also so nice when I had a general kiosk ordering issue. I also recommend the 21. Pad Thai (GF).

I was wrong - this place is delicious, bustling, and fun. We went just before 11 on Labor Day and although there was already a crowd the host managed the line expertly. I know they get busy on weekends but we had no problem making a reservation and being seated promptly indoors. Their indoor space can get quite loud. They do have a covered side patio as well. We ordered some of their classic dishes: chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, banana foster French toast. Everything was absolutely delicious. I did feel some sticker shock at the prices ($17-24 ish) but the portions are quite large. They do have a kids menu as well as a full bar. Customer service was excellent, with a seemingly genuinely friendly server. Though they were busy, it was easy to get assistance as needed. The decor is wonderfully charming. Overall, Screen Door might not be an every-weekend kind of thing, but for an out-of-town visitor, a special occasion, or craving you just can't shake - it's absolutely worth the stop.
