Met Jason owner of NOMAD's cafe (I believe.) Staff was super friendly and helpful. We visited twice during our 3day stay because the vibe was nice, food was very tasty and we enjoyed the location. Plant based options for both drinks and meals. They even offered to substitute (if needed). Found me a good book to view and check out full later. Our meals were plentiful and for sure fresh. Loved the trail mix scone & my morning dew latte .

What a gem of a coffee shop in Kanab! Definitely worth stopping by if you are on your way to a hike or just want to check out this funky and cute cafe with a whimsical design. The location is stunning with beautiful scenic views and trails out back. The owner was there and was kind and chatty, telling us about nearby hikes. His art installations are placed all around the grounds of this cafe and RV park. The cafe offers a variety of pastries, bagels and breakfast burritos, along with a selection of quiches.

I LOVE when a coffee shop stands out and this was one of them! An eclectic and cozy shop with a variety of seating options and a full menu of drinks and food. The staff had laid back vibes and were friendly. We didn't get any food on this stop but ordered The Treehugger iced latte (caramel/vanilla) and The Vortex iced latte (white chocolate/raspberry) which were both exceptional and priced incredibly fairly for the area. The shop also included an array of local artists work which we loved. Definitely recommend stopping here.

Great drinks here!! Every latte I've ordered has been fantastic. I also love the breakfast burrito!! The vibe here is cool. They have lots of seating and lots of parking plus you can walk the trail to see the dinosaur foot prints!!

The drinks here are well crafted, the ambiance is beautiful, I got the Golden Milk with turmeric, my friends got the Mud WTR latte, and the White Sands. The baristas were friendly, and the vibes in general are welcoming.

We stopped here on our drive back to Cleveland, and my only regret is not finding this place sooner. Everything we ordered was fantastic--the Tree Hugger iced lattes, bacon and cheese quiche, the T-Rex breakfast burrito, and the caramel apple coffee cake. Everything is made fresh from scratch, and it shows in the flavor. The breakfast burrito might be the best I've ever had, and my latte absolutely hit the spot. On top of that, we had a great conversation with the owner, which made the whole experience even better. I highly recommend for anyone who is in the area.

I wish I could go all the time!…read more The staff is very young & I will admit - they somehow messed up every single one of our orders in at least one way. It was almost charming. They got away with it because they were kind & the food was that bomb. VEGAN & GLUTEN-FREE ALERT! I got the "popper" grilled cheese (jalapeño cream cheese, cheddar, red pepper flakes) on gluten-free bread with added bacon. I also got a tomato basil soup & a gluten-free s'mores cookie. Bomb, bomb, bomb, BOMB! So comforting & delicious, at a totally reasonable price point. I would go way out of my way to come back here again!

Which is delicious, but not what we were looking for at the time. We place our order at the register, and immediately the young woman ran to the back and started talking loudly about us with her coworker, saying "How stupid do you have to be to come here and not know we serve grilled cheese? It says it outside." I immediately looked around because it doesn't have any description of what they serve outside. I was truly appalled and upset by the customer service here. I've worked a job or two and I know how to complain about a customer, and you just don't do it when they're still within earshot. If their employees learn nothing else from this review, I hope that they learn how be rude and uncouth quietly. The lack of professionalism from these two young women will be the reason I do not return to this establishment. The disrespect was not worth my coins.

My husband and I, traveling from Texas to Kanab, decided to stop for dinner at this place…read morerecommended by my husband (he used to work in Kanab many years ago). The restaurant was packed, so I was thrilled to try the food. As soon as I tasted the salsa, I couldn't help but tell my husband that this place was legit. I opted for the combo plate, featuring two enchiladas, one with chicken and green sauce, and the other with ground beef and red sauce, alongside a chile relleno. When I took my first few bites, I was transported back to the kitchen of an old Mexican friend. She used to make chile relleno and enchiladas that were an exact replica of Escobar's. The flavors were so authentic that I couldn't believe it! The overall experience was not only about the food but also the warm and friendly atmosphere. Dahlia, our waitress, the owner, the servers, and the woman at the checkout counter all exuded kindness and hospitality. It felt like we were in someone's home, enjoying a meal that filled our souls with joy. I'm already craving this place, and wish they would move to Texas. This place deserves more than 5 stars!

We stopped because the outdoor patio was full even though it was only 4pm. Our motto is, if the parking lot/patio is full, the food must be good. It proved true at Escobar's. We both enjoyed the chiles rellenos. They are made fresh to order and include a delicious sauce and onions, which is different than the ones we've had in Wickenburg and Phoenix, AZ. The rice and beans were also delicious and the prices are also very good. Although they serve bottled beer we settled for soda since we had a long drive ahead of us. Because the patio was full we ate inside. The dining room is bright and pleasant. Walls are filled with Mexican art. Service was quick and pleasant. This is definitely a great choice for Mexican food in Kanab, UT.
