Called up Bobs to get a quote on air conditioner duct cleaning and spoke with Stephanie. Not only…read moredid she give me an unbeatable price with military discount, she got me an appointment the following day! Next day, Brian and Jordan showed up on time ready to rock. They did an outstanding job! Really cool guys. The whole job took roughly 2.5-3.0 hours start to finish. If you need air duct cleaning don't hesitate to call Bob's Repair!

I tried to post this review on Google, and to respond directly to Bob's before posting a review but…read morethey don't have an easy way to give them feedback. They do have polite people and do decent work but I did not have a good experience with their repair business. An annual inspection turned up a couple of small problems - low refrigerant in a system and a nearly failed condenser fan in another. No argument with that conclusion so I said go ahead with fixes. Got the invoice and should have paid more attention - a price gouge of epic proportions. Here's what I sent them that got rejected by their system: PS - registered professional engineer who should have paid more attention. 'I was not here when this work was finished, and I have no issue at all with the technician and work performed. He was professional. I agreed to all of the work. But I regret now not doing additional homework on the cost. A one pound 410a add should cost more like $100 at the high end all in. Easy to find on google or Yelp), given you can get a 25 lb Jug in the range of $250. And yes, there is labor and overhead in that , but for for a 30 minute job $325 seems excessive. I also was able to source the replacement fan motor with an identical Lennox model# from a number of sources- from around $200. Again, that doesn't include labor. So if I'm generous, you got $300 in parts, add 20% for miscellaneous. And yes, I get that there is 'Bob's guarantee' and you have overhead, but an 1800+ bill for less than two labor hours of work, make it 3 with travel time and even at 150 per hour - and maybe 450 in parts and material -the total markup at 2x is to me excessive. Plus your billing is deficient in the level of detail so it's even hard to understand how you could add it up to that much. My wife paid the bill of course, but with these prices even though the service is good I won't be using or recommending Bobs for repairs in the future. I'll do my homework.' PS - last postscript. You may have noticed Bob's no longer responds to Yelp reviews. Must be too busy. Or they don't care. Neither one is a good sign.

Robbie and his team is amazing, and good people. Robbie is our go to HVAC professional. He cares. If he doesn't know, he'll let you know or give him to time to figure feasible solutions. Finding someone to not rip you off, who can be diligent and care, who's work actually is correct (many ppl think they are doing it "correctly") is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Vegas is wild wild West, and word of mouth referral seems to be the thing. Robbie's company did blow up....super busy. But I'm happy to share. Because I know Robbie at this point will continue to hire more (treat his employees with respect), and continue helping people. It just sucks that they are constantly fixing other company's costly mistakes. You can read my previous review on Robbie's background. But overall, he got into starting his own company because he couldn't find anyone decent and trustworthy for his HVAC. He got really really busy with commercial work for a bit. So we had to just find a different least worse company for our residential place. That company (Summit, aka Semperfi) messed up so badly installation :( It was a nightmare. We found out too late that Robbie hired more to his team and back at working residential. His new hire Andrew was great on our tuneup and caught more mistakes from Summit. Great at explaining things, and telling us the issues. No selling, no pushing. Aisha is great to work with over the phone snd email too. The repair team (Andrew was busy) did a great job and made us feel secure about their work. So yes, I can finally update my review with them. New team is great!! They definitely share the same helpful, patient, kind energy that Robbie has. Again, this is a mom pop business. So we are flexible, and I do the following up on things in case I don't get an answer fast enough. Credit card payments: There is a percentage charge. They can take zelle too. Tks for continuously taking care of us Robbie and Team!!
