Trustworthy, patient, know what they are doing, etc. I'ved interviewed probably over 9 HVAC companies/vendors in the past 2 years. I have a large list of who to avoid too. Robbie and his team is amazing, and good people. Robbie is our go to HVAC professional. He cares. If he doesn't know, he'll let you know or give him to time to figure feasible solutions. Finding someone to not rip you off, who can be diligent and care, who's work actually is correct (many ppl think they are doing it "correctly") is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Vegas is wild wild West, and word of mouth referral seems to be the thing. Robbie's company did blow up....super busy. But I'm happy to share. Because I know Robbie at this point will continue to hire more (treat his employees with respect), and continue helping people. It just sucks that they are constantly fixing other company's costly mistakes. You can read my previous review on Robbie's background. But overall, he got into starting his own company because he couldn't find anyone decent and trustworthy for his HVAC. He got really really busy with commercial work for a bit. So we had to just find a different least worse company for our residential place. That company (Summit, aka Semperfi) messed up so badly installation :( It was a nightmare. We found out too late that Robbie hired more to his team and back at working residential. His new hire Andrew was great on our tuneup and caught more mistakes from Summit. Great at explaining things, and telling us the issues. No selling, no pushing. Aisha is great to work with over the phone snd email too. The repair team (Andrew was busy) did a great job and made us feel secure about their work. So yes, I can finally update my review with them. New team is great!! They definitely share the same helpful, patient, kind energy that Robbie has. Again, this is a mom pop business. Few days ago Ac suddenly stopped working. My technician wasn't available so I searched, found this company(it s all 5stars). They came fast, said capacitor needs replace. It costed $283. It was urgent I paid. Fixed right away. I have changed capacitor many time last 7 years. My technician charged $160 to 180 it including everything labor, Part(capacitor about $10) and trip. SERIOUSLY! Use this company if you really want a technician to assess the real problem. Before Rob came to my house I had horrible experiences with HVAC! I even told Rob that if he was going to come that I didn't want to hear I needed a new unit! He told me that they don't award techs for upselling and that if there is a reasonable repair then he wi fix it! Rob stuck to his word and informed me that my freezing unit was due to dirty air filters! What was really nice was that he took his time and diagnosed the entire system before coming to a conclusion. My a/c would only blow warm air after a thunderstorm in mid July. I did not sleep a wink that night because it was so hot. I called these guys up the next day, and they said they could have someone come out in the afternoon. They were on time and diagnosed the problems. The capacitor had stopped working, and they replaced it. That seemed to fix the problem. They also added some coolant to the system, and that made it cool more efficiently. If I have another problem in the future, then I will hire them again. They seem to be honest. read more

My aunt just bought a new house and I managed the entire process from beginning to end, from securing the loan, finding the house, buying furniture, remodeling the kitchen and preparing for her move-in. Every step of the way there was some annoying (and usually expensive) hurdle to overcome, as is usually the case when buying a home. So imagine my horror when just two days before her move-in, I come to the house to find the air conditioner suddenly not working on a 108F day. To say I was aggravated is to put it mildly. I absolutely needed this fixed. Perusing Yelp, I searched for who I could call and picked RCP Mechanical because the location showed as relatively close to mine. Robert answered the call and immediately told me he would come by in 30 minutes. And then he showed up exactly on time. Testing out the dead system and after being up in the attic, he diagnosed what was broken, what went wrong and explained to me what it would take to fix it. Since it required getting the parts, he said he'd be back on Monday. That was also the day my aunt was moving in but given that it was the weekend, that was as quick as one could hope for. On Monday, he showed up right on time, put together everything required and had us up and running within 30 minutes. If you've ever unpacked in a 95F house, you'll know the elation you feel when suddenly there's a whoosh of cold air coming from the vents!!! On the day he came to diagnose the problem, I was in the middle of hooking up a refrigerator water line and ran into a glitch because it wasn't working and I wasn't sure what knob to turn to make it work -- the last thing I needed was to flood the house. I asked if he knew anything about it and he immediately took a look, fixed a small leak and got it up and running. Seriously, if you need an HVAC company, you should call RCP Mechanical. Those of you who use a lot of contractors know how unreliable many of them can be. Great company. I was dealing with two different AC companies that were giving the runaround and trying to rip me off. Robbie came out and had it fixed in 20 minutes. He took before and after pictures. The other company put a capacitor in that was too small to start the unit and then messed up the wiring. I was three weeks without an AC for a $15 part. My AC blower motor went out almost 3 weeks ago, for which I immediately put in a request order with my home warranty. After multiple calls over the first 2 weeks, they still haven't even ordered the part. I found RCP Mechanical here on Yelp, and within 2 days the part was ordered, picked up and my AC is fixed. My home warranty company sent two separate A/C companies to our home, only to inform me that our evaporative condenser units were defective, on recall, and they would not cover to fix. Both companies told me I needed to replace the systems. I called RCP on my own for a third opinion. He diagnosed, found a broken drainage line, and promptly fixed it. On a Saturday in July, Robbie came out the same day we contacted him to look at our air conditioner we had to shutdown as it had been running constantly but not cooling our house. Great, fast and reliable service from Robbie. Came home on a late Friday afternoon to my AC not working. I freaked out a bit because being almost Friday night I figured I'm not going to be able to get a hold of anyone. I thought I could stand it but once my dogs started panting hard I knew I had to make the call. I tried RCP randomly and am glad I did.
