They replied quickly and we agreed on a time. They specifically said the time worked and they would be here. Then, without any other explanation, they simply said they were booked and couldn't make it. Nothing other than that: no message apologizing, no message saying they're prioritizing rescheduling as soon as possible, nothing. I waited to post this 9+ hours after their last message to see what the owner said, but I've gotten nothing in reply. So while I should at least get an apology, I'm not surprised to see zero accountability. If they can't simply apologize, I'm not sure how they think they can be trusted to do any actual work.

And it was a TOUGH one…read more Not only was it 120 degrees outside, and much hotter in the attic, they had to pull in and out the new and old air handler through a small access panel, all while it was over 130 degrees in the attic. The team had some obstacles I suspect they didn't realize at time of quote. Ranier, Carlos, Kyle, Luis, and a few other guys on the team managed the heat and the install in one day. I can't say enough good about Super Service; they did our inspection when we were buying the home and we've stuck with them ever since. They stayed until the work was complete, where two other companies told us they would have to quit work by 6:30. These guys stayed not only til the job was done, but until they could verify our house (92 degrees inside) was cooling down so we could sleep here the night they finished. Uber-professional, courteous, respectful, and cheerful, this crew is as good as I've seen. Makes me chuckle a little that my neighbor lost his AC the same night I did, and they went with another company. He's on day 3 of his replacement. All days where the ambient was at least 111 degrees.

They're once again helping to deal with an ongoing issue with the tenant not following maintenance instructions such as ensuring filter are replaced. She was told 2 years ago the filters needed to be replaced and here we are again and she is being told filters needed to be replaced. Additionally, the thermostats are set to 62 degrees which she was advised was too low and could blow out the unit. Unfortunately, here we are again dealing with issues with the AC. Gilbert and his teammate arrived right on time and kept us updated from when they were en route to when they arrived. They were professional, respectful, and detail-oriented throughout the entire process--wearing shoe covers, being mindful of our neighbors while setting up their equipment, and walking us through each step so we always knew what to expect. By the end, every duct in our home--including the dryer vent--was thoroughly cleaned. And the results? Immediate and noticeable. It's been just over a week, and my indoor allergies are completely gone. Before the cleaning, I was waking up multiple times a night going through boxes of tissues. Clear the areas under all vents ahead of time--they place commercial blankets to catch debris. 4. Make sure they have access to your dryer vent. One of our units went out in the middle of summer and after dealing with our nightmare home warranty company for over a month with nobody successfully able to fix it, we decided to hire someone on our own. RCP Mechanical was recommended by word of mouth and within minutes we received a call back with immediate availability. The owner came the same day and diagnosed the issue and explained it in a way that was easy to understand. Within 24 hours the issue was completely fixed and he even followed up later that week to ensure everything was still working properly. We wish we would have just contacted RCP Mechanical in the first place instead of dealing with the home warranty company, who just seemed lazy and cared more about getting our money than anything. Honestly, the main reason I gave my business to RCP Mechanical in the beginning was because of the veteran discount. Now that I have done business with them, they will be my go to AC provider. I had to have an entire condo AC unit replaced and due to the recent regulation changes as to the type of Freon, it took a long time to get a new unit. Due to it being summer, I was thinking I would have to go buy at least 2 stand alone AC units which would have cost me $800+. BUT, RCP decided they would buy the units and rent them to me for a very reasonable rate so that I would not have to buy the 2 units that I would have no use for afterwards and they now have those units to help out other customers in the future, this is extremely forward thinking and is really not that common anymore. I can't give RCP and Alex, the tech that serviced my job, enough stars for the service they have provided. read more

A/C unit stopped working had a contractor come out but he put wrong part and delay after delay in getting the main part. Robbie from RCP was assigned to come out and fix the problem. He came out that very night, got the needed part in a day. Came out immediately when he got the part....a/c back in operation. On July 4th I called RCP Mechanical for help. The owner, Rob, said he would call back as he had to check on his crew. I received the call back at 11:37am and I was informed that his crew would be at my house in about 2 hours. His crew arrived at about 2pm, replaced the fan motor and capacitor and my a/c is working again. I had some questions on my A/C unit. Instead of telling me I had to replace the unit like everyone else he advised me that changing the capacitor would fix the issue. This saved me thousands. After getting estimates from 5 reputable companies, I had Ivan come out for an estimate as my friend told me "he's THE BEST" & she was right! Ivan did a comprehensive inspection of my heating & a/c units & agreed it was time to get new, more efficient units. He gave me a comprehensive & fair estimate & had all units replaced March, 2026. He & his staff finished the entire HUGE project in one day. They ran tarps on my carpets & draped everything off. The heating unit access was in my master closet but they were so careful not to make a mess. They did need to make the access bigger to accommodate the new units but Ivan even brought in a drywaller to repair the larger open to look "good as new"! They replaced all the outside connector pipes, put new pads down for the units & even replacing part of my air ducting that literally was falling apart. My indoor thermostats & a/c filter grates were all replaced with beautiful new & easier to open grates!!!! My friend & neighbor saw the work I was having done & after meeting Ivan she had her 2 units also REPLACED! I am so HAPPY & SATISFIED with my new units as it gives me peace of mind during our hot summers! The new AMERICAN STANDARD units are QUIET & work so fast to cool my house down. That kind of follow-through is rare. I am a renter, so I do not get to choose who comes into my home when something breaks. But if I did have a choice, I would call Ocean & Hot Cold Air every single time.
