    Pepperoni and sausage pizza
    Gerald F.

First time here. The pizza tasted good but was very skimpy on the sausage. Not sure if I'd come here again as it was expensive for what I got.

Yummy Pizza that I asked to be put in aluminum wrap so I could get it to fit on my goldwing. Yumyum brooklyn style

I have lived nearby for about a year and this was my first time trying this place. I called in to ask if they could place the 18 inch in a smaller box so I could fit it in the back of my Goldwing Bike and Sal was more than kind enough to help me out. So I ordered their 18 inch cheese. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were quick and courteous and the place is a pickup only spot but nice ambiance it reminds me of small brooklyn pizzerias.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I get home and had the pizza with the kids. Let me tell you that the cheese and crust are superb. No less in taste & quality than pie life in Pasadena (My favorite in LA). Its light and toasty while airy in the edges and the bread is not rubbery so its obvious they not only use good flour but also allow their dough to rise just right. The price for an 18 inch cheese and the other ones are about the lowest you will find in so cal today for a good brooklyn pizza. I saw some people complain about not enough toppings or this and that and to be honest, if you're used to cheap dominos or pizza hut or little ceasars junk then you might complain about not being over run with rubbery vegetables or cheap industrialized meats but if you like a whole hearty and honest made brooklyn style pizza then this is your place.

This place used to be the best New York style pizza around. I just ordered from DoorDash and had to call to see if they switched their dough...and found out that they have new owners. It is absolute run-of-the-mill trash now and I can't understand why the owners would buy something working to change it. I'll be waiting to watch their a$$ kicking online. Shameful

We live in Eastvale and as you know there's no shortage of pizza places here. The problem is they all suck. So I've been on a hunt for actual good pizza. Today I was browsing DoorDash and Nonno's popped up and the pies looked appetizing so I gave it a shot. And I have to say, we found our pizza spot! This pizza tasted better than anything else I've tried in the area. The crust was like New York style, thin and foldable, yet crunchy. The sauce and cheese were perfect, not too salty, not too sweet. And the pepperoni and meatballs I had on mine were delicious. Also got garlic knots that were pretty much perfect. Crunchy on the outside and soft and hot in the middle, with the perfect amount of garlic. I see they also make Sicilian style which I love, so I'll be back to try theirs. You gotta give this place a shot like me. You won't be disappointed.

This pizza place is scrumptious! The pizza reminds me of the pizza from the Goofy Movie. lol. I'm serious. How cheesy it is lol. & it's always freshly made. The pizza here doesn't compare to the competitors such as Dominos, Pizza Hut, Little Caesar's & or etc. The pizza here is family owned is what it appears & with their own family ingredients is what it tastes like. Definitely recommend to give this place a try! You will taste the difference between their competitors!

I am originally from NY and so I can honestly say this pizza reminds me of my childhood. Nonno's is authentic NY pizza; the flavor is there, that crispy pizza crust is on pointthat thin/soft texture of the dough/cheese when you take that first bite it just reminds me of home and I am so glad we have a legitimate place with bomb NY pizza And if this is your first time trying it, you can never go wrong with the half cheese/pepperoni. My boyfriend says he will never get pizza anywhere else because Nonno's was different than the other pizza he's tried and we were both full off of 2 slices each and the garlic knots were so freakken good, I wish I had ordered a dozen we used the butter from the garlic knots to put on our crust and I 100% recommend doing that because it is very flavorful. I'd also like to say all these reviews that say this pizza isn't good, and it's too "soggy", and it "falls apart" are definitely not from NY and would prefer their pizzas with a crap ton of toppings weighing down their pizza just so their pizza can fall apart too We will definitely be coming back!

Cannataro's was more personal than Olive Garden, had a great and affordable menu, and was easy to drive to. Staff was attentive and kept the carafe of water filled. Our only regret is we didn't try the creme brulee. Thanks Cannataro's, your hard-working team and varied menu made for a nice out of town Italian experience.

The portion was also pretty small given the price of $19. -Chicken Parmigiana with penne pasta: The chicken was cooked and seasoned well with melted mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce on top. The penne pasta was not my favorite. Most of the penna was overcooked and mushy while a few pieces were hard and seemingly undercooked. Overall, if the pasta was better, I'd say this dish was a fair value at $29. -Cacio de pepe: Initially, when it came out, we noticed that the sauce was very watery and not emulsified nearly enough. At first taste, we both noticed that it tasted very different from what we would expect. The smell was quite rancid and very off-putting (not the normal funky parm cheese smell). We let the server know and she had the pasta remade which did not make much of a difference. The sauce was still pretty watery and not creamy, and the flavor was very off from what we would expect this dish to taste like. We sent this dish back and did not request a new one this time. For reference, this dish was $25. Service was friendly and our server was apologetic about the pasta and took it off our bill so that was fine. It was just a bit slow, especially when we got the check, we put our credit card in the book and stood it up with the card sticking out so it was easily visible. Our server walked by our table 3-4 times without even glancing over to see if we were ready. Overall, 2.5 stars rounded up to 3 stars for the friendly service.

As a visual person, it did hamper the ambiance for me, especially since I was sitting right next to it. We were the only table that wasn't a couple, and even when it got more crowded, the noise level was pleasantly low. Our server asked us how we felt about salt, which was very much appreciated. AMARETTO SOUR: 3/5. Very sweet, and orange-forward which is a new flavor profile for this cocktail for me. BREAD & WHIPPED BUTTER: 5/5. Served warm. The bread was pillowy soft, and the butter, (which was more air than butter and therefore definitely zero calories), was delightfully salty. BRUSSELS SPROUTS: 5/5. I've been burned by so many poorly done sprouts that I don't order them anymore, but my partner wanted to try it and I'm so glad we got them. Zero bitterness, and crispier than an newly minted dollar bill. OCTOPUS: 5/5. Grilled to perfection, soft, not rubbery. The spices in the romesco sauce were aromatic and punchy. STEAK TARTARE: 4/5. Good. These crostinis were the most crostinis to have ever crostinied. The perfect vessel for the rich steak. MUSHROOM SOUP: 5/5. This is the first time I've found balance between being truffle-forward without being overbearing. Usually I'm done after about two spoonfuls, but all 3 bowls (shared between 6 of us) were cleaned. SURF & TURF: 5/5. Owen's checks internal and external temperature, which means steak is cooked true to the way it's ordered. More impressive is that they didn't overcook the lobster. A moment for the gorgeous blue plates; they are heirlooms, and only 7 of them exist in the world. CHILEAN SEA BASS: 4/5. For me, the radish did a lot of heavy lifting in balancing out the saltiness of the soy vinaigrette and richness of the fish itself. STEAK FRITES: 4/5. Again, perfectly cooked steak. I only had one fry, and I thought it was a damn good fry, but my partner did say it eventually got salty. And he loves his salt. CAMPING TRIP: 5/5. The crust on the salmon, the theatrics of the hot rock, the fresh veggies. It's a classic for a reason. MAITAKE MUSHROOM: 4/5. While it was good, I didn't find myself continuously reaching for more, as I nearly always do with mushrooms. ROBUCHON POTATOES: 5/5. AKA indulgent, buttery velvet. A labor of love well received. STRAWBERRY TART: 5/5. While the strawberries were phenomenal, the vanilla (?) custard was a little heavy for me. My mom inhaled it though. CRÈME BRÛLÉE: 5/5. So good. I don't know when it became normalized to serve crème with an Ozempic-thin layer of brûlée, but thank you Owen's for not doing that.
