Delicious Italian Sausage pizza along with a bright and tangy Caesar salad. It was a nice treat and plan to go back during and try their happy hours and brunch very soon! Kayla was friendly and attentive!

Your favorite Yelp correspondent was, on this night at least, a guest of a guest. Donna and Harold were celebrating their Golden 50th Wedding Anniversary on the delightful patio wing adjacent to the main entrance and my bride, who works closely w/ Donna as an adjunct instructor, received an invitation. Color us suitably impressed...just probably not to the point where WE'D return as paying guests, ourselves. Not because of anything that the Pizzaoili team neglected to do, but solely because we are not the biggest consumers nor partisans of, Italian cuisine. Our dinner party was comprised of 25-30 guests, carefully arrayed around a large rectangular table with big heat lamps strategically positioned. Pizzaoili prepared a Prix Fixe menu for guests of the Spiegel dinner party. We started with baskets of golden, flaky Italian bread dressed with generous amounts of bruschetta then pivoted to house salads which, candidly, would've rated higher had they been sprinkled with parmesan reggiano and/or black/red peppers. Guest then chose from a fixed menu list of four entrees, including: -Salmon with Roasted Seasonal Vegetables -Beef Lasagna -Chicken with Peppers served with Penne Alfredo -Linguine served with two sizable Meatballs My bride chose the lasagna while I opted for the Chicken and Peppers dish. The pasta was prepared al dented, the sauces with rich and creamy to the point of being superbly filling. Our wait staff, a dynamic duo of two ladies, did a masterful job in keeping the wines, coffees and diet cokes topped off. Restrooms were suitably clean and provisioned. If you like Italian, then add Pizzaoili to your collection of standouts. Also ideal for date night!

What's more romantic than Italian food on Valentine's Day? And there's only one place for us: Pizzaioli. Only the freshest, highest quality ingredients are used and each dish is crafted with attention to homemade, mouthwatering taste. Just look at the ooey, gooey, cheesy, meaty layers in the lasagna! The bread and bruschetta deserves its own bit o' love. The bread here is a softest, spongiest, comforting slice. Add on the bruschetta, and honestly I could just sit and devour breadbasket after breadbasket. Our drinks were romantically inspired specialty concoctions and absolutely delicious. Our server brought the love: friendly, attentive, and timely. We were in good hands under her attentions. We chose to sit outside on the heated, enclosed patio. The candlelight added to the ambiance. Romantic crooners filled the airwaves while we chatted, drank, ate, and enjoyed our delicious meals. Desserts were a sweet end to our lovely evening. The crème brûlée and tiramisu were delectably rich, creamy, and an oh-so-satisfying end to our wonderful night.

We visited for Valentine's Day with a reservation and expected it to be busy, so there was a short wait before being seated. Despite how busy it was, the food quality was excellent and the service staff were amazing. We'll definitely be coming back soon.

Got invited for my friend birthday celebration here and we really had a great time here. The food is delicious. The pasta is cooked al dente, sauce is on point and the dough is fresh. For those who are looking for gluten free menu, they have some options for you as well. The service is great. The server is friendly and helpful. The ambiance is nice. They have outdoor seating area as well. Definitely will come back for more delicious Italian food!!

It was our first time here and I right when we walked in the vibe is cozy. Nice jazz music playing. Cute for date night but just wish we got better service: Cons- no more complimentary bread. We paid $6 for COLD bread. We thought okay being an authentic Italian restaurant we'd get fresh and warm bread. Not today. I got the chicken Parmesan. Chicken and tomatoe sauce were lacking flavor. Service was not so great. Waitress and waiter were not very friendly. We kept having to get their attention and they'd walk right past us. Vibe just felt off. The waitress kept forgetting things we asked for. Mind you we went mid-day and restaurant was not packed at all. Customer service was poor! Pros-The lasagna was flavorful. Portions were a good size. Drinks were strong. Overall not sure if we'll be back, really didn't feel welcomed.

Food here is really good. Thai place has been in business for 30 years. I remember coming here in my 20's for a client lunch. It was great then and it is great now. The service here has always been great. This place gets busier and busier every time I come. It's dark here in the evening gives you a fine dining ambiance, during the day it is brighter. I tend to like this place right before the lunch or dinner rush as it leaves me to sip on my drink and just sit back and relax.

Food was alright -- the Linguine and Meatballs and Tortellini Chicken were pretty salty. I like the fact they have outdoor seating so our pup was able to eat with us. Would've given this place a 4 stars but the suggested tip amount is based on the total not subtotal (see photo). Hate it when restaurants do tip like this because it's always based on the subtotal.

Always delicious. I haven't been here in over 5 years but I'm glad to know the food is still just as amazing as it was the first time!

The vegetable soup is delicious, along with prime rib, and breaded scallops. As always, their cocktails are good.

So glad this establishment has restored their integrity and credibility of serving awesome Italian food! In past years, we had horrible experiences but in our last few visits, the food and service has been outstanding! Thank you!

Food was fine, but the service needs a lot of work…read more It was our first time coming here, so I had no idea how anything worked. When we first arrived, the front was completely disorganized, and there were no lines at all. People were just crowding around the hostess table, so I had no idea how to add my name to the waitlist. There were no signs that showed where the line starts, and no line was being formed at all. The hostess kept having to walk people to their table, so it was nearly impossible to grab her attention. When I did manage to do so, she was very rude and prioritized other people before us. She obviously saw us come in before other people, but ignored that fact and just added other people to the waitlist first. Ridiculous. Their waitlist system is through Yelp, which sends you a text when your table is ready. Based on the app, it said that our table wouldn't be ready for about 1.5 hours, so we decided to walk around the outlet in the meantime. After nearly 1.5 hours, I saw that we were 2nd in line and decided to have our family walk back to the restaurant. While we were waiting outside for me to receive the text, we heard the host call my name and say that our table was ready. We met with him, and I said that it was odd since I hadn't received the text yet. He said, "Oh no, the hostess told me about you guys. You said that your phone was dead, so you'd hang around the restaurant and wait for us to call your name." No. We never said that. They have us confused with a different party. This means that if I hadn't checked the waitlist regularly and had just waited for that text, it never would've come, and we never would've gotten seated. What a messy system. Also, I've never been to a seafood boil restaurant where we have to ask for the bibs. Normally, they're given to us right when we're seated, so it was weird. We noticed other people were given bibs right when they're seated, so we're not sure why this happened. Other Kickin' Crab locations also give you an entire bottle of ketchup, whereas this place only gives small plastic cups. Weird. I think the employees and other customers would agree with me when I say that the entire place is completely disorganized because multiple orders around us were being messed up. The table to our left was missing its piece of corn and sausage in its bag of shrimp, while the table to our right was missing crawfish in their bag. The workers were obviously trying their best to straighten things out, but it didn't seem to be working. The menu is consistent with their other locations, but the market prices are a bit higher than what we're used to. Compared to the location that we always go to, this place offers bigger frozen crawfish, but the bags were mainly just the claws, so it seemed like a big ripoff. * Cajun Fries: 8/10 - nice cook, but there was only cajun seasoning on the top * Shrimp (Head-On): 9/10 - good flavor * Crawfish (Frozen): 6/10 - big crawfish, but the bag was mostly just claws and not enough garlic The place is located at the Shoppes of Chino Hills outlet, so parking is relatively easy. After being seated, the servers were nice, but it was difficult to enjoy the experience because of everything that had already happened. Overall, the service was a huge letdown, and we did not feel comfortable eating here. Places like this are why tipping is optional. The workers at the Kickin' Crab location we usually go to are way more laidback and friendlier, yet still maintain impeccable service. Would not return.

I'll start with the good, which was the service; I found our server to be very nice, attentive, and helpful with giving us recommendations throughout the night. However, I felt the food was very expensive for what we received, the portion sizes were not very big, and the overall quality was just not good. I noticed the flavors were mostly just salty and spicy, to the point where I couldn't really taste the intrinsic flavor of the seafood itself. I ordered the mixed seafood cocktail, but it had mostly lemon juice and tasted much more like a ceviche than a traditional cocktail. Most concerning of all, I could tell something was off with the seafood, and it ended up giving me a major upset stomach after eating here. Considering how much we paid for just 2 entrées, combined with the fact that it made me sick, it is highly unlikely that I will ever return.

HOUSE PAN ROAST It tasted exactly what was expected. A creamy tomato soup consistency and flavor. Got level 2 or 3 for spice level. I wanted more of that creamy flavor, not spice. Any higher than 3 would be Tabasco level spice and up. Deliciously filled with shrimp, chopped scallops, small crab meat. I could taste the crab meat, which was all sitting at the bottom of the bowl. The scoop of jasmine rice with the creamy pan roast was comfort on another level. Got the small size, but it is enough for me. I do wish there were more shrimp and scallops and crab in the pan roast. I felt the scallops and crab were chopped too small and wished there was a bit more. But still I enjoyed the pan roast and would get it again. As an appetizer and accompaniment to the house pan roast, they bring a basket with three sliced breads and a side of butter. It's a light, soft bread with a bit of sour flavor. Didn't like it. I would have preferred dinner rolls. CUSTOMER SERVICE I arrived 1 hr before lunch closing time. It closes at 2:00pm and then re-opens for dinner at 5:00pm. But service was good! Only one server, but she checked back with everyone and all around better than most places I've been at recently. Lots of people came in 30-40 mins before closing time. On January 30, 2026 I decided to give this restaurant a try. I specifically ordered their House Special Pan Roast because I am a pescetarian and this dish was supposed to be seafood only. I also ordered a salad. Everything was good until I went home and tried the food. To my disappointment, the pan roast had shredded chicken in it, which I did not request. I called the restaurant and the same person who I saw in person was who I spoke to on the phone. I just simply asked if chicken is usually in the House Special Pan Roast. She said no, but that it could be added at an extra cost. I told her I didn't request that. After going back and forth, she made me send her a photo of the food and wanted me to drive back in. I sent the picture, told her I lost my appetite, and would like a refund. She hung up on me several times. The next day, I came in at the beginning of dinner. There were several customers waiting to get seated and after we waited 10 minutes or longer, people started leaving. I waited until she sat the party before me. After that, I got her attention and I kid you not, she dismissed me after recognizing who I was. I waited another 10 minutes watching her serve everyone else. After realizing that I wasn't going to get any help unless I spoke up, I asked for help again. This is a refund I was coming in for, which shouldn't have to take more than 2 minutes. She came back some time later with a claims release for me to sign. I took my time reading and realized how abnormal this practice was for a simple refund, so I declined to sign it. I asked to speak to the owner who never came out (unless she was the owner). What I thought would take less than 5 minutes to resolve ended up taking nearly 30 minutes. I have already ordered dinner somewhere else in the same plaza, so I told the worker to call the owner and figure it out and I will be back after I pick up my dinner. It was then where she handed me my cash refund, told me that I have been an inconvenience to her since she had to pay out of pocket, and that I didn't look sick. Wow, just wow. This had to be the most ridiculous interaction I have had with restaurant staff. I brought in the food I ordered to show I absolutely barely touched it and when I asked for a copy of my receipt, I wasn't given one. Mistakes happen with food, but that worker's communication and way of handling refunds was unacceptable and unprofessional. She blamed a customer for what was clearly a mistake from the restaurant and by playing doctor telling a customer they don't look sick. The fact that she pressured me to sign a claims release then later refunded me anyway meant that release wasn't actually required. I 100% would not recommend this establishment to anyone and regret ever supporting them.
