    Got the tomato broth as well as the signature broth. I preferred the signature broth. Portions are pretty big, we shared the two noodle dishes as well as a side shredded tofu amongst 3 people. Weekday lunch was pretty empty. Service was alright. It's really dark inside. They didn't have the karaoke music going so we didn't get that full experience. It's yet another noodle option in the area, but it's honestly pretty forgettable. Maybe I'd try the sauerkraut fish broth next time (skipped since I literally just went to Nai brother the week beforehand).

    I had been very excited to try Master L since they opened as they are the first Yunnan-style rice noodle shop in the city offering a vegetarian option. Upon arrival, I did discover that the vegetarian option is actually served with a meat-based broth, so if you're not willing to overlook that, steer clear. Yunnan's "crossing the bridge" noodles reflect the province's unique location in China on the border of pho territory, and takes some inspiration in terms of noodle texture and ingredients. However, the experience is best described as non-DIY hotpot. The vegetarian option included a nice assortment of toppings including yuba and wood ear mushroom, but my favorite part of the meal was the noodles themselves - silky yet chewy at the same time.

    I was excited to try this place and was able to get seated immediately for dinner time on a Friday. You can select a soup base, the type of noodle (or rice), and sets that you'd like with your meal. I chose their seafood one and my friend chose beef. When the food came out, everything was rolled out on a cart. The server then mixed everything for us and I didn't get a chance to take pictures of the set.. I gave feedback to the owner about this since I thought it didn't make sense to bring out the food separated deliberately just to mix it away from us. He mentioned that they do this out of safety precaution so customers wouldn't get burned and also the server's new so he didn't ask if I wanted any photos. The portion was just okay and the price is a little steeper than other rice noodle places, but I imagine it's due to the rent price. Despite everything though, I did like my meal and thought that their original broth was excellent.

    I came here with a friend on a weekday. It was relatively empty but did fill up later into the night. Service was okay. I got the seafood rice noodles. The broth was delicious and hearty. They do have unlimited refills on their noodles. Overall food was decent. I probably would come back!

    Great food and huge portions of soup and honestly can share one bowl for two people if you order some appetizers. The popcorn chicken was really good too and cozy atmosphere. Service was okay, but still very new so probably just getting used to the flow.

    your standard yunnan rice noodle place but the only one I know of in lic. this place was a bit more expensive than others ive been to before but for lic that makes sense. the crispy sliced pork was decent and i got the tomato base beef rice noodle soup which werent as tomatoey as id hoped but still filling and had a good amount of beef. its nice that they wheel out a cart and mix everything in front of you.

    We finally got around to try this new establishment in the neighborhood. Causal setting with a big screen TV all the way at the back. Service was lacking as we had to asked for water refill even it wasn't busy. For appetizer we ordered the Salty Crispy Chicken and it was okay. My hubby had the Rice Noodles with Beef Brisket which was flavorful. I opted for the Hot Dry Rice Noodles With Pork Ear, it was tasty but I think they use a bit much of salt or MSG, I had to drink so much water the whole night. Overall not bad and their portion is pretty big.

    Oh my goodness. Absolutely delicious. We ordered the: 1. Crispy sliced pork: crunchy fried pork with the delicious chili powder 2. The beef rice noodle soup: The meal comes out not yet prepared. The waiters will pour the scolding hot soup into the very hot bowl and then start adding in all the ingredients for you. This is not done table side but a little bit away, not too far you can't see and not too close that you'll get splashed on by the hot broth touching the hot bowl. There was a ton of beef in there, the broth was just crazy good and not salty at all. Service was prompt and friendly. Will definitely be back either to solo dine or with friends.

But at $5.50 that's an expensive cup of yogurt.

The Chinese beef stew makes a great compliment to a bowl of steamy noodles with tender slices of beef flank and beef tendons (my favorite part). Noodle dishes can also be ordered Hong Kong style on a plate with broth on the side. We also get a dish of boiled vegetables with oyster sauce to round out our meal (usually baby Chinese Broccoli or choy sum). The menu has expanded since the last time we were here with new side dishes like curry fish balls and braised shiitake mushrooms that you can get over noodles or a la carte.
