Came here for lunch and had the beef noodle soup, and pork wontons for an appetizer. I've had both of these items at different restaurants and the other restaurants were a five, and this place was a four. Which is still pretty good. The beef broth in the noodle soup was a little bit flat to me, and the pork wonton sauce was a little bit too oily for me. But other than that everything had really good flavors. The cool thing about this place is that your drinks and some of your food items may be delivered by a robot. I'm sure that adds to the ambience and certainly makes the service more efficient. read more

The noodles had a nice bite and absorbed the soup taste well. The beef were so tender and flavorful. The szechuan soup definitely had a spicy kick with more of a bean paste flavor underneath. While it's not like the Taiwanese tomato-based broth, the soup was absolutely delicious! Service: 5/5 - friendly but slight language barrier. Since we were the only table in the restaurant, she was there every time we looked up for something. Ambiance: 5/5 - interesting decor with a brick wallpaper and some bars along the edge of the wall. Recently discovered this amazing place and have been back weekly ever since. The food is super authentic and anything with numbing peppercorns is worth the adventure. Always start with a couple of appetizers like scallion pancake, and the Taiwanese popcorn chicken. Then, pick a noodle dish or a noodle soup. Every single one is soooo good. PRO TIP: They will happily modify the spice level to your taste, however, I recommend ordering it just how it comes your first time. This way you get to experience the original intent. And, finally, order the mochi for an easy cool down at the end. Oh!!! I almost forgot. The music they play is fun, modern, and a good mix of styles. Fantastic!! What a nice, cozy and delicious restaurant! Service was top notch! Our server Lu was excellent. She was attentive, fast, nice, and gave great recommendations. We even came in close to closing ( for the hours mixed up for a different place) and she was so accommodating to me and my party of four. Told us no rush and never made us feel like we were a bother. The serving size was perfect for the price! One order of chow mein was enough for 4 people to share. With even some left over! Great prices and size! We had the chicken chow main, Mongolian beef chow mein, spicy wontons, and onion pancakes. Everything was flavorful and fulfilling. Mongolian beef was my favorite. Our last night in Vegas & we found this hidden gem. The waitress was so friendly & helpful in explaining the menu & spice levels for the food. We ordered the calamari & had the non-spicy beef brisket noodles. The calamari was cooked perfectly & had just the right amount of spice, not too much & not too little. The noodles were delicious, the soup was flavorful & the brisket was tender. My friend also ordered the house made lemon grass tea & enjoyed it as well. I even tried it myself although I don't drink tea, & even I was surprised by how tasty it was! I highly recommend this restaurant, from the menu with a variety of delicious food to choose from & reasonable prices, to the friendliness of the staff. We will definitely keep this on our list for the next time we're back in Vegas! read more

Order the Dan Dan noddle no matter what! It's the most flavorful (and if u like extra spicy it will make u sweat and ur mouth that good kind of numb with just enough of the pain of the burn). The shrimp rice is a bit sparce, idk if ours had vegetables (or we didn't order it right) but the shrimp was good and the dish was still flavorful. Food came out maybe 15 minutes after ordering, but I'm the mean time, wasn't entirely sure that the order had gone through aside from a brief confirmation message that came through on the website before disappearing shortly after. The spiciness levels in the 3 bowls of noodles ordered were the appropriate levels. "Extra spicy" was flavorful but not overly hot. Would come back in the future, the prices were too high as compared to competitors in the Sprint Mountain area. Cool, chill interior with lively vibe. Oh have I longed to find a local place that cooks up an amazing Taiwanese style popcorn chicken. Noodlehead delivers and even adds basil. This has been hard to come by in the valley and I'm glad I found this spot. The chicken appetizer is served to my liking while their spicy wontons hit better then most around the area. The cucumber fungus dish complimented all that spicy goodness. Refreshing after each heated bite. Definitely enjoyed these 3 dishes and look forward to trying out more items. Noodlehead was a restaurant I found on Yelp, since I was craving beef noodle soup. The owner was very friendly and service was excellent. The price also was pretty reasonable. The beef noodle soup that I got was amazing, probably one of the best I've had. Tender beef, freshly made noodles made in house, and umami broth with Sichuan spices , super delicious! We were craving some hand pulled noodles so decided to check out noodle head. We ordered the Danan noodles, Mongolian, beef, chow mein, beef, brisket, soup, and chicken and mushroom soup. The Mongolian beef chow mein is a nine out of 10. Danan noodles were an eight out of 10 because it's just too salty. I love the flavor, especially the Szechuan peppercorns but just a little bit too salty in my opinion. the service was great. Everyone was super nice. The tables are clean. This place is a little hidden gem tucked inside the 168 Market plaza next to a sushi / grill restaurant. It's small but cozy inside. I came in on a Tuesday afternoon and it was not busy at all. I was served quickly by a nice woman who may actually be the owner or family member of the owner. For appetizers I got the tofu satay and spicy wontons which I forgot to take a picture of but BOTH were so delectable. The fried tofu soaked in satay kept its crunchiness and what surprised me was it was actually filled inside with veggies like green onions and bean sprouts. The satay sauce was so flavorful, it might be the best I've ever had in the city. The wontons were great but it was really the spicy sauce that made it stand out. It was the perfect combo of spice and sourness from the vinegar but it was well made. I thoroughly enjoyed both of these dishes. For the main course I ordered the beef shank noodle soup and Dan Dan noodles. To me the Dan Dan was slightly salty albeit the chewiness of the noodles and distant creaminess made it somehow work for me. It has to be my least favorite of the dishes I ordered. The beef noodle was immaculate though. The soup was light but flavorful and the fresh veggies really complimented the dish because it was beefy but in the best way I can describe. Prices were also fair and I think this is such a great spot to try and you may love it! read more

Cold Vegas evenings call for warm comfort food, so we stumbled upon this place that boasts authentic Asian flavors. As we walked in, there were some tables occupied, but not quite at 1/2 capacity. The owners were very welcoming and sat us right away. Looking over the menu, a couple of things stood out. We didn't want to over order since the hotel didn't have a fridge or microwave for leftovers. So we stuck with 2 items. One was their ground beef pepper noodle. Inquiring about it, it's supposed to be a numbing Szechuan type of dish. It turns out to be a bit dull. Besides the the mild spice and numbing peppers,'there wasn't much else. We actually felt it needed more salt or something to bring out its hidden flavor. The ground beef pieces were very dry & tough. 2.5/ 5 Another was their chef recommended; Mongolian chow mein. Since I've never seen that before, I went with it. The flavor was decent with a slight sweetness to it, but the noodles looked like spaghetti, round and missing that Q (chew) 3/5 Looking around, I noticed in the entire restaurant, we were the only Asians. Then the owner asks if we're visiting, and how we found them. Maybe I'm thinking too much but are they not used to seeing Asians go in there? Anyway, for a western palate, the food here might be very tasty, like a Panda Express noodle joint. But for me, who had some very good noodles in the SGV of LA, I found it lacking. I give the food a 3/ 5 but bumping up to 4 for the warm service, the cleanliness of the place and how quickly the food came out. Mood- Goldilocks and the 3 Bears Friday night ideas. Sometimes you have to really plot and plan your adventures to accomplish the goal. I had 3 ideas in mind. Each one proved busier than the first. Omg this place is delicious and a place I would keep coming back to. We had a party of 8 and so we got to try a bunch of items! The fried rice was the first to be consumed the quickest haha. Here are my highlights: Tofu: cooked perfectly and crispy on outside and soft and warm on the inside with the marinade drizzled all over. Szechuan beef brisket noodles: we added tendons and the amount of tendon was super generous and they were so good. Mung bean noodles: I get this every time the restaurant serves this and they do it right here and you won't be disappointed. Was craving noodles while in Vegas and found this spot here on Yelp and boy was it so, so good. I had the Yibin noodles medium spice and it was just perfect. The noodle texture was great and they're super generous with the toppings. Love that their spice levels are fully customizable because while my husband enjoys a good kick, his stomach has definitely burned through a bit over the years so anywhere that can give him "mild" he'll be extremely grateful for. He had the Chongqing noodles and liked it a lot. It was a Saturday night toward closing and it was pretty quiet in there but we decided to call in for our order as we had a fussy baby. The food made it back to our hotel on the strip and was still so good, I'm sure it would've been even better had we dined in. The ladies here are also super friendly and courteous.
