After we landed in Minneapolis, my husband and I had some time on our hands so we decided to go the Mall of America. After some walking around, we looked for a place for lunch. This was one busy eatery at lunch on the Friday we were there, and it is small, so tables were difficult to get. I looked at the menu, made my selection and noticed a table opening up so I grabbed it. The restaurant is pretty dirty and seemed short staffed so I cleaned the table myself. The floor also was pretty messy. I got the Pad Thai and thought it was pretty good - a little spicy for me - but very tasty. My husband had the Korean Steak noodles and really liked the dish. I've overall been happy with Noodles, and this location. They have a good variety of options on their menu. My favorite is the chipotle chicken, but I've had a lot that I like from them. Overall, their Asian noodles aren't my favorite and I'd rather get them from an Asian restaurant, but overall I've never been super disappointed with anything I've gotten there. They are always super fast, and friendly. Well-priced, and I like that if you choose "no protein" when ordering, it actually reduces the price accordingly. Usually clean and friendly service. I knew this was a chain before diving in for lunch but I cant help it! I LOVE noodles! It's one of my favorite things to eat especially when it comes to Asian noodles. This is Asian fusion and they had Grilled orange chicken lo mein, Japanese pan noodles, Pad Thai, and Spicy korean beef noodles. They also have Itaian pastas, stuffed pastas, Mac & cheese, salad and soups. The lady who took my order at the register could not look anymore annoyed that she was there. She was NOT happy and seemed to hate her job. What a mood killer. I ordered the Orange Chicken Lo Mein, a side of 3 potstickers, and my hubby ordered a tomato soup. The winner of the day was the tomato soup! It was piping hot and delicious and came with 2 bags of Oyster crackers. The orange chicken was NOT orange chicken.It was just grilled chicken and had NO orange flavor at all. The pot stickers tasted decent but was smashed FLAT. I specifically ordered and paid for their gluten free optioned Penne Rosa. They gave me a different noodle dish with gluten. I failed to notice that fact in time to prevent from becoming ill from the food. It didn't even taste good. Will not be returning to Noodles. read more

Came for lunch and they were super busy. They had only 4 workers and they looked like they were hustling and doing a great job. One of our orders was missing the steak and the girl at the register (not sure of her name but she had a nose ring) went out of her way to go and make sure we got what we ordered and paid for. I've had the pastas, most of the salads and the Thai dishes. They were all good. You order and you get s number so they know where to bring the food. The dining area is decent sized. Noodles being not that great for you already puts you at a disadvantage for nutrition and then you put cheese on it. Not my thing. I do enjoy the soups they have, they taste fresh and healthy. They have some interesting items. I tried the Buffalo chicken one and the mushroom premium noodle dishes. They were decent. They just changed the menu and they are now offering Zoodles which are zucchini strips. I haven't tried that but I want to. If they handed out samples of Zoodles would be a good idea. read more

Staff was friendly and helped with choices on menu, and the food was fresh and very flavorful. Portions were just right but not overwhelming like some places. Entire family and kids loved it, and we had Italian, Mac and cheese and Asian food choices. We will be back for sure! read more

This restaurant has become extremely stingy with how much sauce comes in the dish. The noodles are often dry, with very little sauce. Even ordering extra sauce, you get a stupid small amount. I get it, they make money on flour & water, not sauce. But unless this changes I won't be going to Noodles anymore. And I am steering friends away for this reason too. For how much these meals cost it should come with plenty of sauce. read more

Good managers assign fault only in service of fixing an error, not to make a judgement on the employee's capabilities or character. Bad managers harp on mistakes and can sink morale and productivity. These bosses' first instinct is to point fingers and shame rather than analyze the issue. For example, manager during the interview process was talking about another team member negatively, first induction of poor management. The role of managers is to unite the workforce around a common mission, yet some bosses pit co-workers against each other. This behavior sometimes comes from a misguided notion that rivalry will elicit the team's best performance, when in reality over-competition among peers prevents proper teamwork. Disorganization is one of the main incompetent manager traits. This behavior sets a poor standard for the department, and can also cause extra work and for other team members. Unlike many of the previous reviews, I experienced great customer service. It was a busy Saturday evening. The girl who took my order was very nice and engaging. My food came in 5min tops. I had the Indonesian sauté with grilled chicken. The noodles, veggies and sauce portion were all tasty. The sauce definitely had a kick which I was expecting. What I wasn't crazy about was the protein. The chicken tasted and felt like a flat, frozen chicken breast that you could buy by the bag at the grocery store. If I had known that I would've just gone without the meat and paid less. Judging by all the other chicken pics I see they look the same. The pad thai tasted rancid and the eggs were burnt and rubbery, and even the sad little lime wedge didn't even have any juice in it! I went here for lunch on my break a few days ago and got my whole meal for free since i was a mall employee. today i went in and had to pay full price even after saying that i was a mall employee. manager told me that they didn't give out mall employee discounts after i explained the situation and didn't honor even a small discount for the meal i ordered. could have been handled a lot better, the food is okay, but i probably won't be going back to this location anytime soon. read more

The food was nice and tasty, however ghetto portions of entrees is very horrible, I ordered two portions of so called REGULAR portions of Bangkok Noodles, and they seemed like tasting samples put around a bunch of greens. The add on soup was the size of a vinegar bowl used in kitchen, guess I could eat 5 spoons. Compared to the taste and portion size of Pei-Wei. I won't elaborate on the menu... this is a chain, so simply look them up online for the menu. On a leisure trip to Mall Of America, I had lunch here and liked it enough I at here for dinner the next night. I was very pleased with the menu choices, the service, and decor/style of the restaurant. This is a "fast casual" restaurant--your order & pay, and then the food is served at your table. Drinks are self serve. This chain seems to be growing, but is still about two hours away from my hometown. I hope it finds it way to me. I try to eat at local places, but I would love this to be one of my choices when I go to a chain restaurant. read more

Wish I had read the reviews before ordering. For asian noodles, we prefer Pei Wei. Our dumplings were just ok. Many frozen varieties available at the grocery store are better.. and they are nothing like the fresh ones you would make at home. The pad thai was awful. But we were hungry and now we are satisfied. Don't waste your time or money here. The soba noodles were gummy, and the Thai soup was spicy but without flavor. Although I wouldn't expect much from a mall chain, I would expect better than here. I'm a huge fan of Thai food and curry so when I saw curry noodles on the menu I had to try them. The noodles are good but the curry flavoring was way too mild for my tastes.
