I think I need to learn my lesson here, as I've not had a great experience the last few times at this location. I just have loved Noodles and Co. so much in the past it's hard not to order when we need a quick meal! Plus this location is really close to us. I'd say biggest problem at this one is low staff. Any time we've come in they tell us they are wildy behind. I get how tough that can be, but the real bummer is that it's affecting the food too. During our recent pick up order, it looked like they were speeding to get it all put together. The result was a completely tasteless dish (insert crying emoji). My husband and I both got the pad thai and let me tell ya, it was all rice noodles, no sauce, no flavor. Bummed to say the least. Our kids split a mac n cheese, which comes with two sides. Got the broccoli and an applesauce pack. All good there, as they devoured it. However, we paid extra for added chicken and that was completely missing. I can't remember how many times we have gone here. I would say a lot. The place is really nice and well suited for a modern environment. The kids always love the infinite flavors of the Coke Freestyle but on to slightly more important stuff. You order at a counter, but it is so hard to choose what to get sometimes. They have a large variety of items it gets hard to choose what I want. It isn't bad but I have never had something bad there. One favorite is the mac & cheese. This is definenatly the best restaurant mac I have had. So creamy and delicious. I only wish I could have more. When I was there we were using a 1$ soft drink promotion and we only got one but the kind employee gave us another drink which made the two of us happy. Another bad experience. I did not want to drive up to Grafton to get Noodles. I rarely have an issue with food. Customer service is the issue. The female cook was pleasant and did offer to remake my order. I ordered buttered noodles with grilled chicken and two pad Thai with no green onions/scallions and cabbage. One was to have Parmesan crusted chicken. The associate taking my order mumbled when she spoke. I honestly wanted to ask her if I was bothering her by placing an order because I was the only customer in the restaurant and she had been sitting at a table reading her phone. She asked if I was a rewards member and I said yes. I didn't see any rewards but she said I had a $2 off coupon. I checked my order before I left and saw green onions and cabbage on one of the pad Thai. When I brought this to her attention, she said she asked me if it was for one order and she said I said yes. It does not pay for a company to remake and order because they lose money and it goes in the trash. I also couldn't wait for the order to be remade because I care for an elderly parent. Noodles used to be a very good, more upscale than fast food burger joints, type of place to eat in or take out. The food was always very consistent, good, and there was some variety for everyone. My complaint is not with the restaurant itself, nor the menu, but I would like to find the person who owns salt futures in the stock market. I don't think I have ever had saltier, more inedible food in my life. Most dishes are cooked fresh and to order. Somewhere in the process of assembling the dish, the heavy hand applies the salt to the dish. There are now three dishes that I will not order ever again, and two were my favorites. It will be a long time now before I venture back for my next craving for noodle's food. Even their meatballs, which I loved, I were so salty that they're almost inedible. I placed an online order here during lunchtime as I have in the past. It was pretty busy when I arrived to pick up my food but I was helped quickly. Being a to-go order (hey, gotta run!), I don't think I should have to double check everything before I leave but that is not the case with this location. I ordered 2 Chicken Veracruz salads, one with no modifications and one with no chicken sub tofu. Here's what it should come with: Mixed greens topped with Roma tomato, red onion, chili-lime chicken, crumbled naturally raised bacon, fresh-cut corn, tossed with Jalapeño Ranch dressing and crispy jalapeños, fresh California avocados and cilantro Here's what BOTH salads came with (they did get the chicken and tofu correct): No crispy jalepenos No avocados No cilantro No bacon on the chicken version TONS of red onions HUGE pieces of romaine that should have been chopped smaller Very disappointing to say the least, I work 15 minutes from there so I didn't have time to drive back for the missing goods. Instead of calling there, I went on the corporate website and sent them my complaint and contact info. Haven't heard anything back and that was 6/08/16. That's just crappy customer service. I ordered potstickers, which I have ordered all over the world and instead of potstickers, received some flattened, basically empty, grilled noodle. DO NOT EAT HERE. Ordered a pick up order and everything about it was terrible. Main door was locked because they were short staffed and the door through the patio was the only one open. Staff stared through the windows and didn't do anything while we tried to call to ask for the order. Ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and the meatballs were burned. Ordered the Mac and cheese and there was onion in it and it was cold. Ordered double tofu on one of our dishes (paid $7 for it) and got no tofu. Ordered the side breads and they were small and burned to a crouton texture. Ordered pot stickers and they were still cold on the inside. Don't waste your time, money, or patience. We've often had issues with this location (incorrect food, missing items), but this was the last straw. We placed a curbside pickup order and arrived just as the app said the order was ready, only to find there was no one answering the phone. After 25 minutes, we figured out that if you pretend to place an order, you'll reach a human, but they don't actually work at the store. Even the personnel at the call center were unable to reach anyone in the store (which was almost entirely empty of customers), nor could they handle issuing a refund. So after 30 minutes, we left without any food (which would have been cold anyhow) and without a refund. We won't be back. read more

Wow this noodles has gone downhill! I worked here for a short stint ten years ago and it was the training center for all noodles in the area because of its high standards. I just got a pesto cavatappi with chicken and it was absolutely TASTELESS. How do you make pesto tasteless? They are already using premade sauce so they must suck at cooking. It was just bland and awful. Plain noodles with butter would have been better. Please close this location, it does not deserve to be a noodles and company franchise. Pretty much just like other noodles in the area. The room is nice and open. I will say that there is not a ton of seating, especially for how busy it gets around lunch or dinner. The staff id friendly, some times orders are more accurate than others. Service is pretty fast on most occasions. The kids meals are a nice option will smaller portions and some veggies included. This is a go-to spot when I'm visiting family in Wisconsin. It's light, it's fresh and it's just plain DELICIOUS! My go-to here is consistently the Pasta Fresca (roma tomatoes, red onions, wilted baby spinach, vegetable broth, extra-virgin olive oil, parsley, wine and Parmesan over penne topped with a chicken breast). I'm giving this a three star review in the perspective of it being compared to other similar restaurants. Mid-Level fast food, no real identity, tacky little slogans everywhere, a vague feeling of desperation in the air trying to convince you that you're somewhere fancy or dignified. That's all fine, the food is utilitarian and every so often utilitarian is what I want. That being said it's decent for a depressing chain in a depressing strip mall in a depressing neighborhood. The employees have ALWAYS been friendly and fast and the place looks clean. The food isn't worth discussing because it's just Noodles and Company, and tastes the same everywhere, but I have to admire the employees for taking on the ruthless, persistent entitlement issues from much of their customer base (which I've seen first hand many many many times) and still smiling and continuing on. Disclaimer: I used to be a shift manager at this restaurant. I've been there many times before, but I'm reviewing this most recent time. Even though I worked at Noodles & Company for about a year, I still crave it quite often. So, I take every opportunity to stop in when I am close. I started at the Oakland location, and also worked at the Fox Point, and helped open the Pewaukee location. So, I definitely know how it works, or at least how it is supposed to work. I stopped in around 5 PM on a Tuesday. It was not busy at all, but the place was staffed for a normal dinner service. So, there were plenty of workers. I walked in and was able to place my order right away. As I was standing there waiting for my food, I noticed that there was a large carry out order ahead of mine. No problem. However, as I continued to wait, there was one worker stocking the drink station, and another worker who just came on duty walked over and started to talk to the worker who was stocking the drink station. Although there was work to be done, I wasn't really going to hold that against them too much. I was bothered when a boy walked up to the soda machine to fill his cup and the worker who was conversing with the other worker was standing right in front of the machine. She didn't pay any attention at all to the customer trying to fill his cup. She didn't even think about stepping aside. I guess she was too consumed in her conversation. So, the boy had to squeeze between the girl and the wall and reach around her to fill her cup. He mistakenly filled his cup with a soda that he did not want, but didn't realize it until he tasted it when he got back to his table. So, he went back up tot he soda machine and the girl was still standing there. Again, she paid no attention to him whatsoever, and he again had to squeeze past her and reach around her. As I continued to wait, I just thought of how it was taking quite long, especially for how busy it was (or was not). There were at least 6 workers there. The carryout order that was placed ahead of mine required many items from the saute line, which expectedly takes longer than non-saute items. The person working on saute was dedicating his time to doing what he was supposed to be doing. None of the items that I ordered were saute items, and the workers who were standing around and having conversations with each other could have put my order together. Really, it should have taken 2 minutes for my order to be completed, and that's if you are slow. 2 minutes is generous. Needless to say, I was not at all impressed at this visit. This place prides itself on high quality food with speedy delivery. Having worked there, I know that there is no reason that I should have been standing there for 15 minutes. In the grand scheme of things, 15 minutes is not a long time to wait, however it is a long time to wait when there are workers who could have been actually working. I ordered a Med salad without olives and feta, with an extra cup of sauce and a small mac and cheese. When I went to eat my food, the extra cup of sauce was not in the bag. For a chain I think Noodles and Co is a pretty yummy place to grab a bite. I think their Asian dishes tend to be a bit on the blander side but I still order them once in a while. The WI mac is always a winner-especially with extra cheese sauce (but then it starts to get pricey). This location also has this really high-tec soda dispenser that I think has about every soda known to (wo)man available to drink. Great for kiddos too. read more

After that awkward encounter, walking up to find a table to sit at wasn't as easy because every single table was dirty and had a ton of crumbs on it. 20 min into my meal, the same cashier finally went out into the dining area and BARELY wiped down the table next to us. I've been a loyal noodles customer for at least 15 years and have had great and subpar experiences at a number of locations. My go-to dish is a small bowl of buttered noodles and Parmesan cheese. Tonight we ordered food for pick up and didn't check the order til we got home. To my dismay, my small bowl of noodles was remarkably small. 26 noodles total, to be exact. We called and expressed our annoyance with this. The manager explained that the location is under new management and has reduced portion sizes. After a lengthy conversation, we were able to return to the store and received a refund for tonight's order and a coupon for a free bowl in the future. Extremely great service here. I always order the Mac and cheese and the food is ready in five minutes. The interior of the place is okay. Some of the boot he's are really comfy, but they can also be a little big. The drinks they have are just regular sodas or they have a cooler with lemonades and fruit juices. My pesto cavatappi had only 3 tomatoes in it and that's it (and it was regular sized) and my husband's Japanese Pan Noodles were a much smaller portion than usual.
