Food was good as was service. The trick of changing $9 a glass of wine that is $9 a bottle retail is questionable. Drink before you go and after don't fall for the trick of all you can eat cheap food and drinks priced at 2000% above retail. Rip off

Spicy meat sauce w/ angel hair

It was my first time at an Olive Garden and I really liked it. I had the never ending pasta- first the spicy meatball sauce with angel hair! Delish and it does have a kick to it. Second the creamy mushroom sauce with rigatoni- this one not as impressive. The drinks were okay, just very sweet. The waitress was very attentive and very respectful. However, I did have a negative experience as my friends and I walked into the restaurant to be seated. For reference we're a little short but this fact does not warrant what we experienced because we are obviously not children. The host asked us if we need three adult menus and not children menus. This was rude and unwarranted and if it weren't my first time at the restaurant, I would've left immediately. Other than this it was a very nice restaurant with relatively good ambiance.

It's a must visit Italian restaurant with an amazing ambience and tasty food. Our server was really funny. We had a really good time.

We had an okay time. It had been a while since we went to OG and we remember why now. The salad and breadsticks were great. Fresh salad and warm, flavorful breadsticks. However, the pasta was just okay. We got the all you can eat. My first order had the wrong sauce but it was okay. Tried a few more after and the bowls get smaller. Makes sense but it was a dollop of sauce in the subsequent dishes. Our server was nice but didn't stop by much towards the end. Had to wait and flag him to get boxes for leftovers. Okay experience but not in a rush to go back.

I went with a spicy chorizo soup, which was delicious, paired with with the Pesto Mozzarella "Sammich" - fresh Mozzarella, Pesto, Heirloom Tomato, Baby Spring Lettuce, and Balsamic Glaze on a Toasted French Roll. It came with a side of veggies and dip. I grabbed a seat at the counter overlooking the street and they brought out my food as soon as it was ready. Everything was warm, the portions were generous (I took half of my sandwich home), and the food was delicious! The prices are on the higher side, but you're getting generous portion sizes and high quality ingredients. I stuck with water but there is a nice selection of beverages and some local treats for dessert available. They also have prepackaged soups in a cooler with a variety of sizes and flavors available to take to go. I'll be back to try a flight of soups or another tasty soup & sammie combo!

It came out with nicely salted butter for the soft bread served on the side. For soups I got a dill tomato, curry lentil, hatch black bean, and cream of mushroom. The dill tomato was my favorite, I may try to recreate this at home since I am not from the area. The curry lentil was very filling and rich. The hatch black bean soup was something different to try- I ended up really liking it. Lastly, the cream of mushroom soup was not my favorite. It felt very plain and the mushrooms were cut into slices, I think I prefer more of a chopped or slivered mushroom. They have great natural lighting and plenty of seating. I sat and studied at one of the tables for a while.

I searched on Yelp and came across Parkside 23. It sounded perfect. When we pulled into the parking lot, it was very crowded. I called in to the restaurant to make sure they'd have room for us, and was told that yes, they had just had a cancellation for a table for two, so come on in. We did, and we were seated almost immediately. From the minute we walked in the restaurant, everything was perfect. Hostess Heidi was lovely, our server Sara was amazing, and the food was incredible. My friend had the meatloaf, and crème brûlée for dessert. She said both were great. She's not a drinker, but did have a couple Shirley Temples, which were perfect. I have the pretzel crusted veal with spaetzel. I asked for them to hold the asparagus, which is usually cut up in the spaetzel along with mushrooms and onions, and they did it perfectly. The veal was especially amazing, and the spaetzel was very good, too. I tried the Mr Manhattan, and had another one as my dessert. I'm always delighted when my usual craft cocktail is one of their classics on the menu. It was well-made, if a bit small for the price point. We've already decided that this will be our go-to place for lunch whenever I travel up from Chicago to visit my friend. I'm also making plans to bring my husband up there sometime, because I think he will love it, too. A great find!

I've always loved the shrimp & grits, the flavor was good, but I didn't realize the grits would be a hard brick of polenta. There were exactly 5 shrimp on the plate, they were not large or jumbo, just 5 little shrimp. The flavor was good. I felt for 28.00 I could have had a few more shrimp. Honestly jumbo or colossal would have been a nicer presentation, with so few shrimp. My husband had the filet sliders, he was not pleased, our son's parkside burger was better. Our server was fantastic, polite, cordial, and attentive . The service is always good. It's close to home that's a plus, the quality of the food is not always in agreement with the price. I'll sit at the bar with a cocktail and an appetizer in the future.

First time here…read more Food: I stopped in expecting to have a hot beverage and a pastry. There were lots of great food choices, including breakfast egg sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, soups, cookies, muffins, and other pastries. I decided on a Turtle Scone, and it was excellent. It had a great texture, was a good size, and had yummy chocolate frosting. The beverage selection was disappointing. There were only a couple of hot coffee choices, and some tea bags. No specialty drinks or lattes like some of their other locations offer. I ended up having water, which just isn't the way to enjoy a scone. Service: The person taking my order was efficient, but not especially friendly. When I commented on the limited hot-drink options, I got a shrug and silence. There didn't seem to be much interest or empathy. Atmosphere: The place is nicely laid out, and the menu board is easy to read. The pastries and cookies are displayed up front, making it easy to choose. There are several small tables where you can eat your selection, but the space seems designed more for takeout customers. I'd come back to pick up something to take home, but not really to dine in.

It can be ordered hot or cold and I chose hot. It was fantastic and better than most restaurants I've ever been for this sandwich. Layers of boars head corned beef with finely shredded cabbage, sauerkraut with just the right amount of cheese, and thousand Island dressing. The freshly made marble rye really hit perfectly. I love how they still sample their bread of the day slices with or without butter. The fresh focaccia is like a pillow of bread goodness! And their multigrain seeded breads are second to none. Highly recommend this place for any of your bakery or lunch places!

I saw a picture of their breakfast burrito on social media and made plans to stop the next day. In addition to the breakfast burrito, which came with a side of hash browns, I ordered cheddar broccoli soup and was gifted a brownie for visiting. The breakfast burrito is build your own with a bunch of different options for meats, cheese, and veggies. I went with bacon, American cheese, and spinach and wasn't disappointed. The burrito was hefty and every one of the ingredients stood out. This is something I would definitely come back for. The three hash brown patties tasted as you'd expect and I appreciate that they weren't cold in the middle or bland. You can definitely notice the freshness in the soup. It was thick and used actual florets of broccoli, not just the stalks. Given the size of the burrito I had just eaten, though, I wish there was an option for a smaller portion of soup. The bowl was large and if you just plan on having that as a meal it's fine, but I would have preferred buying a cup as compared to a large bowl. Hopefully that's something they consider as a menu tweak. I'm not a big brownie person, but I enjoyed it. Like the burrito and the soup, it was a sizable portion, so worth the price if you're buying one. I'd be interested in trying their lemon bar or coffee cake on a future visit as those are more up my alley. I enjoyed talking to the woman who was prepping the dining area while I was there. She mentioned that Senor Luna's next door is their sister location and that Miss Daisy's has such early hours (currently 5am during the week) so as to cater to the nearby business park. I appreciate the early hours because I can easily make it there and back over to where I work in plenty of time.
